On 04-05-2023, at approximately 1:00 PM, I went for an exterior car wash at the CleanFreak location located at 3175 E Union Hills Dr in my 2014 Mazda 3 sGT Hatchback. During the wash, my wife and I made note of a loud thud we heard while we were on the belt going through the rotating brushes. Once we were done and in the dryer & vacuum section, I noticed a dent, multiple deep gashes in a swirl-like motion, and broken clips on the front of my vehicle. I notified the on site employee who took photographs and filled out an incident sheet with me, stating he would get back to me the next day. Later that day, during a follow up phone conversation, that same employee accused me of damaging my own vehicle during the drying process due to some of the damages not being visible in specific photos he took which were taken at an angle in the sun’s glare on my silver paint. I did not get a call the following day, or the second day & on the third day upon going in person at the location I was advised the manager was not on site. Upon returning the fourth day the manager advised me that the supervisor reviewed the footage and they are not accepting fault, stating the brushes appeared normal on their cameras, not acknowledging my forward facing dash cam footage on which you can see and heard the loud thud during the washing process with the rotating brushes. The manager refused to provide me with any of their insurance information, telling me to go through my own insurance instead. The total cost of parts for my front grill & grille molding is $307.85 without install labor fees.

Okay so here is my take. They've had issues with services not working over the months and never informing customers HOWEVER alot of what I look for in a company is who is running the day to day operations nor a supervisor or director who shows up once a blue moon but the guys/gals there daily. I'd give the staff here a 10/10****star review because they truly go above and beyond. This goes from the welcome employee all the way up the manager who isn't afraid to do the extra either. Richard the manager, I informed him one day of the lack of cleaning the carwash actually achieved after going through twice and even showed him the proof. He didn't argue this or dismiss it rather he made possible reasons that could've had it. Assured me he'd check the systems to make sure nothing was working wrong. And then he literally grabbed the brush and handwashed me car... not just that day.. he did so the next day and the next after I told him many times it was unnecessary but greatly appreciated. See that alone is why I continue to pay monthly even though the wash itself is okay but the people truly will try the best in their ability to make it right as best they can. Anyways I would strongly recommend this car wash to anyone in the area.

If I could give this a zero I would. I went through for just a quick wash and at the end the dryers where so strong it snapped my mirror up and after I pulled out and adjusted it back the whole mirror fell out. I could see the screw BEHIND the mirror had snapped. Probably from being forced up by the dryer. I let the employee working know and he just tried to put it back in and said it was fine, Which it is not. I filled out the little incident report and they said they would call me in a few days. Never did. Every time you call, the voicemail is full and no one ever answers. So I went over a week later and the same kid was there and he was like "ooh was just about to call you". And he said they reviewed the footage and because the mirror was still technically "in" when I left the car wash they would not be taking care of it. I asked to see the footage so I could show him exactly when and where it happened and he said would not show me the footage and in the nicest way called me a liar. I asked him to have his manager call me and he said he would. Never happened. I will never be going back and will let everyone I know to never go to this car wash. The most unprofessional service I have ever come across.

Well I have been a long time Clean Freak customer who has used a number of different locations. This one has become my primary due to its proximity to my home. Over the past year of using this site, I have some to find a number of things that are making me consider switching to a different company and here are some of those items: 1. Hours of operation change without advance notice or notices are not posted where they can be clearly seen 2. Location constantly closes earlier than their posted times, guessing so employees can leave early 3. Vacuum hoses & air chucks are usually in poor condition, tangled, broken or the wrong hoses are used on each stall (typically they put the short ones on the wrong locations so there is not enough reach) Also better signage needs to be used to direct one time or new customers to use any lane other than the Fast Pass lane, especially when 1 of the 2 lanes is out of service or they have a large number of new customers waiting. if Clean Freak wants to retain my business, it seriously needs to consider staying open later than 6-7 PM (competitor down the street is open until 9 PM!!) and needs to improve the maintenance of its facilities.

Bought a 2-pack at their recommendation, but they didn't mention anything about the 2nd wash expiring. I didn't find out until I came back a month later for another wax. Yes, it's ultimately my fault for not reading the fine print, but I expressed my frustration and let them know I wouldn't be back if they can't help me out. They literally stood there in silence; not a word. No customer recovery, let alone the awkward silence from an unempowered employee. Like others have said they'd rather lose a customer for life than the $10-$15. And my biggest issue is the business practice in general--why even expire a bulk purchase?? It's not a coupon to bring someone in, I paid for the 2nd wash and wax upfront--who gets a wax every week??? It's very clearly all about the profit and the hope that you WON'T return in time. That's an odd business model... They get 2 stars for having a $3 express option and keeping the place reasonably clean. Just not good customer service or business practices.

Went for the first time car wash, was going to join the membership I go into the car wash the kid guides me in I’m going and my car all of a sudden skips a bar and I’m going backward the kid runs to me after a min and terrified turns off the machine my car wheel is caught on their machine and ends up tearing my underside of my car so I fill out a incident report which is a joke because the girl calls me and says I can’t see anything in the tape but our machine didn’t mess up it must of been your car. Then when I ask for corporates number because her excuse makes no sense why would I send me car through a car wash I have done plenty of times before for my car to get damaged. She replies you can find it online and if you find it let me know. What kind of car wash is this? What kind of customer service is that ? Honestly this car wash seems to be one outdated just beware with your car I have seen here many reviews where cars get damaged and they take no responsibility.

Great service at a great price. However a lot of newer cars these days have automatic braking which does not go well with the monthly car wash pass. Because you have to approach the tollgate relatively quickly for it to read the pass in the windshield. And when you do this, the automatic braking kicks in and makes your car stop well before you get to the point where the sensor can read the pass in the windshield. the company needs to update the software to where you don't have to approach the gate so quickly for the RFID sensor to read the chip in the pass on your windshield. Other than this one major annoyance, this car wash has always had great service and does a really good job of washing the car on the first time through.

Clean, fast, and working vacuums! With that being said, I’m updating my review after several years because I’ve since had a pretty terrible experience with them. As far as car washes go they’re great! But, when my plan expired I went to renew it with them and they had trouble doing that because 6 other peoples accounts were attached to my card. I was promised a call from the manager and that never happened, I went in to ask them about it and they still had no idea what was going on but I was promised a call back that again, never happened. I’ve submitted a contact request with corporate (2 weeks ago now at least) and have yet to hear back. Love their car wash, don’t trust management or the company.

Their machines are beasts...I have never seen such high quality with drive through car washes before until now...and the bonus to the good quality product is they employ nice hard working people. Always quick to help and greet you with a nice big smile! The wash itself is GREAT and DOES remove and clean all dirt from my truck and DOES NOT leave water spots. My truck gets dirty quickly...it's a darker color plus we always have it out at the lake or 4 wheelin...so yeah he's a Dirty Boy...haha... but Clean Freak helps with that and we spoil him with the highest tier offered... we're so very happy with our membership!!! We like the service so much we extended our membership to our other vehicles.

I've been going to Clean Freak Car Wash all this year after I got my new Car and recently had an issue which I wont disclose as it has been resolved. I just want to give a shout out to managers Christian And Justin for taking the time and having the patience to see that my issue be resolved. This is a GREAT car wash!!! and yes theres a good car wash on every street corner in AZ but this place has a high morale code and staff with integrity and consideration. Business's like this MUST be supported I will remain a loyal fast pass member for a long time. Also shout out to Josh @ 44th st and Thomas you still the man bro!!!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. This car wash sucks. It barely gets half the junk off your car and leaves numerous water spots on the glass surfaces of your vehicle. In addition, they are not honest about their 'membership'. One of the workers referred to it only as a fast pass and lead on like it was one month at a time, not continuous like a gym membership. When I called to explain the employee's lack of elaboration, the manager in no way tried to make things better. He might as well have said "too bad, deal with it" as that is how I felt when ending the phone call. If I could give 0 stars to this awful establishment I would.

This location is great! I am a General and operations manager in the east valley and worked for other competitors for over 7 years. This location changed my mind on not only clean freak, but the Sunnys equipment as well. Trent who guided me in was quick and efficient, Riccardo the supervisor was knowledgeable and helpful, and even though I didn't meet them the General Manager, I can tell is doing a good job. The facility is clean, vacuums worked well, and most importantly I didn't feel like my car was beaten up by their equipment. Definitely will tell people to wash their car here if they are in this part of town.

I use to enjoy going here for their friendly service, until in Nov they wanted me to try their membership service. They needed my debit card to give me their special price. They didn't tell me it was a monthly fee they would automatically withhold from my checking account. Then they say to cancel go to their website and press on cancel membership. The only problem is when you click on cancel membership it doesn't go to the next page. It just stays there and won't let you cancel. The friendly service means nothing if they are ripping you off in the background. I want this debit reversed for this month.

I got a coupon for a free car wash from Circle K a few weeks ago so the wash was probably one of the lower if not the lowest selection of washes available and it still turned out looking pretty good. I was more than satisfied especially being that it was free. One of my favorite tools for detailing/cleaning my truck is the little air hose blower tool that you use to blow stuff out of hard to reach crevices and creases where the vacuum isn't able to reach. Theirs is very high powered and works great. They also offer free vacuums that have great suction and cleaned the carpets very well.

The staff here are outside the majority of the time i've been here and will help you out with something if they can do it. The price have gone up from $3 to $5 on the express car wash as of yesterday (8/19/2020). Not sure why. The only really negative thing I think about that personally affected me is that somehow, the rollers for my car slipped out from under my tire. I drive a small car (a 2020 civic si) and it scared the hell out of me as it never happened to me before in the past 2 or so years of me going here with various other cars so maybe it's because of the weight of the car?

I do the monthly pass here. So simple to just pull up and have it scan my tag, then I can either upgrade to wax or tire wash or just select none and go on through the wash. Free vacuum, and air hoses to rid any remaining water. There is a free tire scrub before entering the wash. Attendants have been super polite and friendly every time I visit and I am there at least once a week sometimes twice. There is a water fountain and snack machine right next to the clean restrooms. Easy in and out if the the parking lot.

I tried this place out for the first time this week and it’s a great facility but something about the way it pulled my car through was very rough. It has one of those pulley systems and right from the start you have to drive over this hump and then you’re locked in. All the way through I just felt like my car was getting dragged through and not in a smooth way. I’ll keep looking for the newer car washes that have gotten rid of that old pulley system and just have flat surfaces that pull your car through.

I had to cancel membership (2 years) today, a few reasons. Several reasons have been over the duration but today was the one that made me cancel. Soap never rinsed completely off. Air dryer never dried the sides of my vehicle Water separator on air compressor needs to be emptied more frequently. Attendant would not leave side brushes in when asked so I don’t have to scrub my vehicle after wash. Even tho they advertise unlimited washes with my membership, they limit you to 2 per day. False advertising?

I would give zero stars if that was an option. went through the car wash on 4-24. Car bounced around like a pinball and tire pressure monitoring system went out. They said it was not their fault as was due to happen anyway because my vehicle is not brand new. Just unfortunate. In my humble opinion they are free to all drop dead, get infected or whatever causes the most hardship! Funny thing is I can afford to have it fixed but I do not appreciate a business that cannot stand by their work.

Paid $16 for the higher end wash, and the car barely looks clean. Paid for a towel and air freshener and never got them! I understand limited contact, but put a sign up that we won’t get one. Also, I shouldn’t have to wipe my car down with cleaner AFTER it just got out of the wash. Had to clean the passenger side dash because it was still dirty! I came here based on recommendations, and won’t be returning because I should have to wash my car after washing it. Also, it left chips in my car.

THE MONTHLY PASS IS MORE THAN WORTH IT. I use this location and the one in Yuma weekly. Today the manager, Kerry, saw me taking a photo of the wash bay and came right over to ask if I had any questions or concerns. His service focused attitude is reflected by the crew in Yuma also. I told him that the monthly pass works out for me because of the locations here and Yuma where I split my time. He pointed out that their pass also works in other states at Rainstorm and True Blue locations.

Do not go here!!!! My vehicle was damaged due to faulty equipment and the attendant not paying attention. Then 2 weeks later the joke of a manager said it was my fault, refused to fix the damage and ignored multiple calls from my insurance adjuster. The "manager" also claimed the damage was existing because of a blue scratch. But as you can see from the picture its actually lint from the scrubber that ripped my driver side mirror half way off. Stay away you've been warned.

Did the job, but not impressed. I went here because my regular place was closed. They are more expensive and they offer no towels for dash cleaning or window drying like most places. The hatch of my car was still so wet it was dripping on me as I vacuumed. Vacuum had A LOT of suction (almost too much as it was hard to move around, but preferred this to no suction). My car is mostly clean though, just a few missed spots.

You had best figure out a way to stop the whining of the vacuums at 5:30 am in the morning and the constant wretched noise at 8pm from your vacuums. It is intolerable to neighbors in this area. Has the corporate team or the owners of the local wash at 32nd Street and Union Hills even give a hoot. Tried talking to the help but they were as dumb as doornails. Keep it up and an eventual excessive lawsuit will prevail.

This has to be the worst clean freak I've been to! They use abrasive large brushes on your paint and not the soft cloth touch. After getting my car washed here I ran my fingers over the paint and it had grittiness on it, perhaps they recycle the water over dozens of washes. I was used to getting a great experience from clean freak at the location on Shea This is an entirely different experience!

the staff here is great. They are aware of their surroundings, pay attention to detail and take the time to answer any questions I may have for them. They always have answers to my questions and have never made me feel as if I was wasting their time or putting them out in any way. They are accommodating to my needs and offer helpful suggestions when it comes to cleaning of my vehicle.

I have been an unlimited wash customer since this location opened and my brand new car was scratched during the last wash on Saturday. I completed the incident report and waited for a manager to call me. Next day Richard called to say they would not offer any fix as he did not believe they caused the damage. I would urge anyone to go elsewhere with their business as I am.

This place is garbage. Purchased a 3 month fast pass. Every single time I come here my fast pass doesn't work and I have to wait 20 mins for them to figure it out. Been here about 15 times now and it's an issue 15 times. I drive for work so I need my car clean every day. Today they turned me away. Complete and utter failure. Waste of money. Stay away!

Car gets clean-ish. We have a truck. It's a big boxy vehicle. But all of dips that are not perfectly flat, still have dirt after coming out of the wash. All of them, not just one or a few but every single time the brushes had to handle a ship, they failed to do anything about the dirt. Overall, not impressed with the quality of the wash.

I really maximized the value of my free carwash from circle k. Where I live, after the snow melts there's mud and these guys had to scrub the outside of my car for 10 minutes before going though. There was still mud under my wheel wells. Still was great to get a free wash and they gave me a coupon for a free coffee at circle k. Score.

I just went through this Clean Freak Car Wash. It didn’t wash the car good at all. Literally there’s stuff I can wipe off with my hands. The representative told me he is not gonna rewash me and then I can call the cops or do whatever I need to do. So unprofessional and disgusting. As I was driving away… that employee flipped me off

This is the best drive thru car wash I have ever been to. My car was so clean and it was a very quick ordeal. The vacuums are very powerful and do a good job. I got the $12 wash which is the total body deal. I brought a soft car rag to touch up some water droplets for when it was done. Kinda handy …

VERY friendly and accommodating employees. Good carwash. GREAT plan options. The tire shine can get on the wheels sometimes. (EDIT, NOW THEY OFFER TOWELS!) They do not offer microfiber clothes to dry and DO NOT offer hand dry by employees. Definitely wish at least one of those 2 were options.

Been working here for a little over a month out of all the jobs I have had this is by far the best. Would highly recommend this location or company to anyone who's wanting to have a job with freindly coworkers. And to anyone who wants a decent job. High paced job on busy days but it pays off.

Be careful no to visit after 6 pm. The second the clock strikes 6:30. They will shut off the vacuum without warning! The least they could do is not take any more customers but whoever is still finishing vacuuming, they should have the courtesy to wait till they are done. Very unprofessional!

The best thing about Clean Freak Carwashes is their employees. They have managed to hire the best of the best and at every location. These kids are always upbeat, friendly, courteous and hard workers. I have never had a bad experience at any CF car wash. Kudos. You guys have figured it out.

Clean freak is my daily commute, and every-time i arrive I'm greeted with a smile and two thumps up, I've never had a bad experience. Richard was one of the sweetest and nicest young man he ran out to help me with the vacuum. Would 100% recommend clean freak carwash.

I like Clean Freak. They have a multiple locations with one close to home ane one close to my work location. They are staffed well and keep the equipment clean and good working order. It's a quick drive through and spacious vaccum spaces with compressed air too.

Third time thru- car still covered in bird poop. Asked for a refund, was told “we don’t do that. I can give you a gift card.” For what? Cobblestone Car Wash? Because they actually get my car clean. Won’t be coming back here. It’s a waste of money.

Went to the location at Power and McDowell in Mesa at appx 7 am. No one behind me. My first time there. I usually go to the wash just outside of Costco and LOVE IT and I was hopeful. After enduring a minutes-long high-pressure sales

Half the time I go to this location, they have yellow cones blocking the lines as if the employees are "busy". Not to mention, the wash is overloaded with soap and the brushes push my side mirrors in every time. It's a small car, too

I use several Clean Freak locations in Phoenix and used to own a detailing business. This location gets my car the cleanest. Hands down. And the workers at this location are friendly and make sure the place is running properlyZ.

Worst carwash in the state. Top rolling brush and top side to side curtain brush wasn't turning on leaving my windows filthy. The side spinning brushes leave a lot of filth behind. And the blowers leave the car sopping wet.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH! The blowers are set so high that they literally rip bumpers off your car. It happened to my car and the management took no responsibility for so I had to pay out of pocket or claim on insurance.

I would give 5 cause the staff is so helpful and the place is really clean. But I've had a few issues with my monthly subscription. Other than that, they don't mind my kids vacuum the cars! It's a fun thing for us all

Try canceling a membership. Website is down or redirects to another site that also doesn't allow cancellations. Try calling - get a 3 minute long message instructing to go to the non-working website.

Destroyed my wind screen. Refusing to do anything. Broken parts flew thru the air. Car comes out dirty, particularly the back of the car. No difference which package you chose(basic, all inclusive).

They did a great job washing my car! I got the basic wash I think. However I didn't want to sign up for their trial they were hooking me with. But for my first time here I liked it a lot!

Staff is most accommodating; proficient car wash; great vacuuming station including the added compressed air feature to blow off water droplets from your car windows, mirrors and chrome.

Must say that it is a nice car wash, very similar to Super Star car wash. The only let down was they have no drying towels for customers. I will stick with Quick Quack Car Wash.
