Big, Bright, Clean and Modern. It's rare that you can use those adjectives to describe a laundry mat in The Bronx. The machines use a card, which can be purchased for $2 from the machine on the right wall as you enter. You can use cash or credit card to add money onto your card. They have an $8 machine for a huge load of clothing, multiple dryers. In order to use the machines, you dip in and pull the card out, make sure to select the temperature ahead of time. The ElectroLux dryers are different, they go in both directions, they stop for a second then go in the other direction. I guess that's to make sure items are dried evenly. Makes sense. I wish I had these in my building. There is a section of the laundry for the attendant to use for those who choose drop off their laundry. Funny thing is as big as the laundry is I didn't see a bathroom for those that are using the machines. Perhaps I overlooked it. I was there on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded, I can appreciate that. It's down the block from the supermarket, next door to the Bagel Shop and Bodega.

I literally come here and spend my money here all the time. I came in to wash and I had my loaded card. I went to insert my card to wash and and it didn’t read. So I take it to the attendant, she checks and sees there’s a balance but proceeds to tell me that there’s nothing she can do. Ok so She calls the manager and basically the manager said I would have to wait to see him. Didn’t give me a date or a time. Didn’t offer to insert their card that they use to wash clothes to compensate me for my balance. So I have a loaded card and can’t use it. Not sure what company would treat their loyal customer like this. Had to load a whole new card and pay the $1 new card fee. The attendant literally had no clue how to help me and the manager obviously didn’t care either because they’re probably home sleeping. Very classless of them. Won’t be coming back.

I'm here today at the laundry mat Saturday August 29 and one of the staff members don't have her mask on she walked around the whole entire laundry mat with no mask walking on top of people I'm not sure what ber name is but she looks a little on the Indian side so I ask the other staff member why she don't have a mask on she needs a mask she said she was dealing with bleach I been here for 45 minutes it's doesn't smell like bleach and she been walked around this whole time with no mask on this is not safe at all if you ask me I think she does not want to mess up her red shining lipstick she has on this is unsafe for the customers. I don't think I'm coming back and I love this place so convenient for me now she has the mask on and wearing it the wrong way on her chin this is unacceptable.

The worst customer service the workers there have a nasty attitude all the time. I been customer with them for long time I do cloths drop of services and on this incident a blanket was inside my laundry they call me saying it’s going to be $20 dollars I said no is okay you could leave to the side and lady said okay. Then I go pick up my cloths and the lady is charging me $20 dollars for washing one small blanket. Unavailable my question is why call and do what you want anyways and be so unprofessional and say well you have to pay. It’s the principal and what ever happen with the customer is always right and it’s not about the $20 it’s about their attitude towards the customer they lost customer today. Wish is could give them 0 stars. Staff their needs to be fired staring with the manager

Some Machine prices posted in pictures. This laundromat can get crowded. Go in the early am or late at night. They are open 24 hours. There are about 5 parking spots and the best part is they are next to empire bagels! The machines are priced a bit high. They close of part of the laundromat for the employees to wash drop-off clothes, so there can be a substantial amount of machines unavailable causing more crowding. The employees are nice and the space is clean. The machines work well. You can buy soap and fabric softener here but priced a bit higher than outside retail. You have to use a laundry card that you buy for a few dollars to use the machines. They have some video games and the music played is usually pretty good.

Been coming here for a while, it's a big place and definitely gets busy. Its the most expensive mat compared to the other 5-6 around. They have out of order machines from time to time but recently one of the dryers didn't dry my clothes. When I explained what happen I was given every excuse as to why it would happen, then tried to say that I didn't even use the machine. She checked my card and told me it showed that I used it but she didn't see it her self. I didn't care about the money but what frustrated me was that she didn't even label the dry as not working. So the next person is going to get taken as well.

After using this place for a long time I’m never going back. I paid $7.25 for a 62lb machine to wash and when it was done the soap was still in the machine and an error messages appeared. I politely spoke to a young lady who works there and she said it was because I put too much soap. Meanwhile it’s the same amount I use every week for years. Then she reset the machine but told me I have to pay the $7.25 again to wash and she really ain’t care what I do. Now tell me what it really going to cost just to start the machine again for me? I know it’s only $7.25 but I’m never coming back. Poor customer service

Brought laundry in this afternoon to have staff do it. First time I have not done my own laundry in my building. Person at desk very nice. She said I could pick it up tonight or whenever. Will get in the morning. I had a lot of laundry. Price was very reasonable. Once I retrieve my laundry tomorrow I will write another review. Good afternoon , I’m directing this to the people that s Used this laundry and the Boss of the this place ,, I’m come here since the open ,, is been a nice place so far , but at this moment , the Workers are alowing customers to not we’re a Mask , i aproach then nicely about it , and there’s response was ,, I quote ,, if you don’t like it , go someplace else ,, I considering bringing the news to establishment ,, hoping the boss take action by let in them be fired for not considering customer safety ,,, thank you ,, serious mather......

They Mexican workers they have their are horrible rude. Do not ask them any questions Or help they will be very rude to you. The boy manager their doesn’t help with any issues just pretty much takes up space. He’s uneducated on Coustemr service and lacks manager experience. Owner should really consider replacing him. I know at least 2 dozen people who no longer go there. Ps : I lost a 400$ Gucci shirt and a north face jacket just magically disappeared when picked up my drop off .

1. It’s clean & machines are new well they look new. Open 24 hours. 2. There a lot of small expensive machines and not enough large machines so the large machines are always being used. Forcing you to use many of small machines. 3. They use the majority of their big machines for their launder service. See photo. 4. The arrows on the dryers are left and right instead of up and down to indicate where to add the money for your dryer. A new user will lose some change every time.

Very unprofessional. They damaged my $100 Lacoste shirt and took zero accountability. They also lost my clothes and took zero accountability. This business needs to be shut down. Can’t find them on the BBB. Wondering if they are legal. Can’t find the name or contact info for the owner. I am actively pursuing a civil suit against them. Alma is the manager there and I will be filing a complaint against her unprofessionalism as well.

On tuesday jan 11th at about 437pm I walked in asking for a manager as I was explaining to her the in my last 2 pick u I had 2 piece's one in each bag missing the manager cut me off by saying that the girls are scared to do my laundry cause I complain 2 much.she made me feel so uncomfortable and was so disrespectful.. I picked up my last bag and left... I truly regret leaving American Laundry... horrible treatment of a customer

Left me close there . Simone stole them . When I asked for help to try to find them or find who took them , they weren’t helpful at all. Pretty much gave me the impression they did it. The workers are horrible Rudy . Was going there every week. Now I never go there . I go to the Landry that’s been in our neighborhood for 20 years and support them . Management was also very unhelpful and careless about the situation.

Staff very unorganized, the only good thing about it is the machines. No machines labeled and when i use two the employees tell me its staff only and they refused to let me see the time on my clothes or take my laundry cart from where it was. They started blocking areas off as customers came in and blocking machines after customers clothes were already inside them. Would not recommend this establishment whatsoever

It’s very clean, but a little pricey. The staff seemed nice until one of them approached me about folding while waiting for my other clothes to dry. I understand it may have been a rule I wasn’t aware of, but the same worker saw many other individuals folding for the entire 1 and a half hours I was there and said nothing. If you are going to enforce rules it should be to EVERYONE.

I usually go there to do my laundry. The place is well maintained and clean. The only Issue that I have is that people leave their clothes for a long time in the washing machine after being washed. Last time I went I left because a lot of machine were out service and the one I could have used someone left their washed clothes inside and then when you asked people is not theirs.

Machines are not serviced regularly. Soap doesn't properly rinse from clothes... stays full of suds. And in some cases machines will stop mid cycle. Attendant claims it is bc it doesn't have enough fabric softener. Never heard of this...ANYWHERE! At that point softener wont get it to start again. Attendants warn they cannot do anything about your clothes stuck in there!

When they first opened it was nice and clean but when I was there this week it was disgusting! The floors were dirty and they have a lot of out of service machines and in the middle of a pandemic I was expecting to see it cleaner. A lot of people talking on phone without their mask on and no one monitoring. I didn't see anyone wiping down in the 2 hours I was there.

This laundromat is clean and a little less expensive then the neighboring laundromats. It takes a little getting used to the machines, they're different than the other laundromat, and they wash differently too. This is my first time so I'll have to adjust to the changes in machines. Overall good experience. Place was spacious. Was able to fold my clothes there.

No one is wearing masks, the floors are filthy, and it’s so unorganized. The machines are good, but the staff uses their designated machines and the customer section and leaves things sitting in the customer section machines while people are waiting to use them. There are so many laundromats in the area with comparable prices, go somewhere else.

They wash clothes terribly just smells like they through it in the wash with no detergent or softener Had to go somewhere else to rewash them wish I could get my money back. Also they didn’t wash my sweaters at all I noticed they were just thrown in a bag. If they did wash it they don’t know how to at all.

It's okay I guess, the upkeep has really gone down over the last year. Some machines smell like like old wet clothes, and the lack of cleanness is obvious now. Its disappointing because I was really looking forward to this laundry mat opening considering it's a short walk from my house .

Thank God almighty this place is right around the corner from where I live, I have been doing laundry here with my wife since it opened it's doors. Great service and customer service from it's staff. You guys rock Clean Green Laundry please keep up the great work... ❤ …

This laundromat is terrible. The place is dirty they never sweep or mop! The machines don’t work and there was a dog in the cart. The attendant did absolutely nothing about it. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! CALL THE DOH ASAP!!!!!!

Always clean and never full of people, best 24 hours laundromat, although they definitely need people there that speak english cause the many of times ive gone there and couldnt get the full help i needed

24hours, great place if you have to do wash in the middle of the night. The plus is, it is not at all busy during those hours. So many machines and a racing game to play while you wash!
