I foolishly attempted to file my own no fault divorce using a DIY legal service because, how hard can that be? No, wrong, don't do it. After over a year, five returned "faulty" documents, many windy, mid-winter visit to the court house in downtown Brooklyn and several angry phone calls, most of which got mysteriously disconnect, I decided it was time to hire a lawyer, no matter what the cost. I was referred to Daniel's office through my employer and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable his services were, given what I just went through trying to do this. He was able to meet with me right away and within 15 mins of meeting him, I was already put at ease. He empathized with my painful experience with the court and walked me through the process given my situation. I think our meeting was about an hour and then he sent me some papers, we signed them and sent them back and that was it. It took a while to get the judgement, given the backlog in Brooklyn court but I didn't have to do anything else, Daniel took care of everything!
