Called this clinic to get my 3 months old puppy his booster vaccination. My two other dogs are also followed at this clinic. When I asked the cost of the booster vaccine, the receptionist started mounting up the list of 30$ fees, 170$ vaccine, 82$ stool tests, and "could possibly be more" for deworming medication ... 320$. All I needed was the booster. I am very disappointed by this clinic after years of going there with my dogs to see Dr. Bernier who is a very good local veterinarian, I am going to go elsewhere. When you need a simple 130$ vaccine and you are being upsold stool tests and deworming medication that you don't need because its already been done to double the bill to 320$, and all this over the phone, it just confirms that this local clinic is starting to adopt the industry practice of ordering all kinds of tests to run up the bill. I don't trust this place anymore, I have the feeling they will want to order tests and treatments for my dogs that they don't need just to run up the bill. I actually called elsewhere, a clinic on Sherbrooke street and they passed me the same day and it cost me 130$, the vets there were just as good as Dr. Bernier and I'll be going there for my other dogs also.

Dr Bernier is extremely caring, as well as the other vets at this clinic. They always treat your pets with kindness and are truly interested in their health and comfort. They explain everything really honestly and clearly, and do not suggest all kinds of extra treatments, shots, etc. I'd go as far as say, they are so conscientious that if you ask for something that they could easily charge you more for, they will honestly explain why you don't need that, and leave it up to you. They stick to the basics and don't try and take advantage. I've been their for regular check ups and shots, as well as a few occasions for emergency visits. They are really incredible! Catherine is also amazing, and very caring. The dogs love stopping in for treats. A community establishment for years, they are amazing!

We had to bring our dog into the UK which was a fairly lengthy and stressful process. However, Dr. Bernier made sure every detail was attended to, and his easy-going yet professional manner made the whole process far more bearable. We are grateful to him and his team for helping us through a difficult situation.

Dr Yves Bernier is a delight to communicate with, because he explains everything in detail. You don't feel rushed and know for what you are paying and why some procedures or medications may be necessary. He is a great veterinarian especially because of his caring to talk to you and make you comfortable.

Way over priced !!! Very greedy . Actually charges for prescribing meds . That’s right !! The very first vet that charges you for preparing your pets meds . no vet has EVER charged for this !!! Even told me pharmacies charge us to prepare our meds ( which is completely UNTRUE !! ) . What a scam !!!!

Dr. Bernier and his staff are responsible and caring professionals that are very attentive to your pet. Our black Lab has always felt comfortable whenever we need to visit the clinic and, in fact, looks forward to a free dog treat as we pass by the clinic when we're on our daily walks.

Dr Bernier is the best. He helped me through many debacles with my dogs, including treatment for Addison's disease, amputation, moving my dog to Japan, etc. Prices always were fair. Staff is nice and the office impeccable. Easy off-street parking next door.

An amazing vet who listens and cares about your situation. Brought our dog there and it gave us a good idea what to do going forward. Will definitely return if needed. Highly recommend. Very happy that we have him close to where we live!
