This review is for Faculty Hype which is the part of the store where they have Nike and Adidas listed for the “resell” price. I have been buying and selling shoes for years on StockX, eBay and via consignment. The prices here are over the top, ridiculous. They are charging an extra 20% on top of resell price just because they are a retail location where you can get shoes the same day. This is a rip off as other consignment stores like sneaker summit have much more fair prices and aren’t intended to rip off the consumer. They also advertise that they will buy your ”limited” shoes and clothes much like a Round 2 but they are extremely picky on what they’ll take and offer low ball prices in return. Lastly, they advertise that services like StockX and Goat can’t be trusted because they sell fake shoes and don’t have a process for legit checks. This cannot be further from the truth and when I asked the owner which of his employees is able to spot fakes 100% of the time he couldn’t answer me. At the end of the day please be a smart consumer and don’t get ripped off by people attempting to make even more money on hype. If you are paying double or triple on retail there are better options than faculty hype.

So this review is intended for The Faculty Hype portion. I think the store is amazing and when I walk into it I can sense a feel from stores like Round Two, Stadium Goods, and Flight Club etc. With that being said The Faculty Hype will also offer the same prices as some of those stores as well which can be expensive compared to sites like GOAT or StockX. Overall I like the experience I think everyone should check it out. Not sure if I’ll be a regular that often since there are cheaper options available on the web and also throughout the Houston area but if I’m feeling like dropping some dollars then yes The Faculty Hype will be on my radar.

Haven't been here much but definitely gotta say the owner and staff is super cool and understanding and in terms of the amount of stuff that they have is pretty impressive. They even have a dedicated vintage clothing section upstairs which if you look around enough you'll find some pieces that you'll really like. Recommended to check them out and I for sure will be coming back!

Faculty Hype selling fakes as authentic. I believe he took Faculty Hype and put his stock into Petty Cash on Montrose/Westheimer. These guys gave my mans back his money but it still happened. No telling how many others were/have been scammed before my homie caught the fakes and after. Beware of these type of shops. Always go with a legit checker/authenticater !!!!

Your people viewed me at the door and no body language or gestures to invite me in. Yes small Biz, that is why I was at your plaza rather than Galleria. Go back and rethink your sandwich board.

Club never is by far one of the better and most shoppable casual and street wear retailers that Houston has to offer. Firstly, the guys over at Club/the faculty hype are stand up and do a great job of promoting street wear culture and mens fashion in Houston! You can find anything from well priced resale to great quality vintage upstairs in The Houston Attic.

Great customer service! One of the employees, Hayro, I believe is his name, was very friendly and helpful to me and my boyfriend. I’m glad we were able to be taken care of in a timely manner. So happy everything worked out. Wide selection of reasonably priced apparel and shoes. Me and my boyfriend will be back!

Have a nice selection of stuff, went in to look for travis merch as a gift. Although the employee makes it too obvious he's watching you to make sure you don't steal lol, which is understandable. Prices are high on some items but good on others. Just compare online and other stores.

Went to club never for the first time today....such a dope shop and the customer service was on point! The guy who helped me was named Audi, very knowledgeable and helpful about any and all questions I had on merchant dope store and dope employees

Great clothing store in the heart of Montrose area. They have nice brands you won't find anywhere else in Houston. The customer service is top notch. It's locally owned and operated they also stock local goods from people right here in Houston.

Just visited CN, had an amazing shopping experience. I ordered some shorts online and came in to grab them and was welcomed by such knowledge and polite young men, Robert and Hairo. Will def check these guys back out. The selection is unreal.

Good service and interesting selection. I like the resell concept mixed in with newer gear. Not a collector or sneaker head but they have a nice variety. We bought a few tees.
