"It seems like a great space, but sadly, I’d never know for myself"
"20 dollar entrance, and then the machine asks you if we want to leave a 15%, 18%, 20% tip (or higher)? What a joke"
"This is a 3 level club in the heart of the village"
"My personal favourite night club in the city very inclusive space and never had a problem with any of the staff, the music is usually really good and so are the drinks"
"Place looks nice but very pricey ( entrance and drinks) for no reason "
It seems like a great space, but sadly, I’d never know for myself. My friends and I were refused entrance because we were celebrating bachelorette. It is the owner’s rule and we were not given explanation why. The club is advertised as a safe, friendly, welcoming space for everyone, there is no word about exceptions on their website.
20 dollar entrance, and then the machine asks you if we want to leave a 15%, 18%, 20% tip (or higher)? What a joke. Overpriced drinks also. Most of the crowd is 18-21 year old drunk girls. I came today after years of not having visited and it doesn't feel like the gay club I remember from back in the day. Not going back.
This is a 3 level club in the heart of the village. There is $20 cover to get in which is the highest of the places I visited that night. The first floor has EDM vibes with smoke and flashing lights. The second floor has more pop music. The roof top is a more relaxing space with good views of the city More
My personal favourite night club in the city very inclusive space and never had a problem with any of the staff, the music is usually really good and so are the drinks. Sure it might be on the more expensive side of clubs in mtl but if you want to go out well you need to be prepared to spend money! More
Place looks nice but very pricey ( entrance and drinks) for no reason . The walking staff were very rude and unfriendly. Bartenders were very nice though . The upper level weren’t the best place to dance cause it’s to crowded.I would consider much better options around the village More
bouncers absolutely rude and racist. they were screaming at everyone and obviously picked and chose who to let into the club based on Physical appearance or race. disgusting behavior , how can you be called unity but high-key discriminate people ! ridiculous
The bouncer grabbed and assualted my partner for no reason that was explainable, I’d like to add that there is no commutation between bouncers and no reasoning for them to grab innocent clientele’s necks and or limbs. The club wasn’t packed
Hi welcome to my Ted Talk. If you’re gay and you’re looking for a gay night club this is not it. The music is really bad, unless you like straight music from 2010. And by that I mean. You won’t get any Charlie XCX, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue,
Me and my homies were tryna hit the club after osheaga but ran into some ***hole bouncers at the front door. One of my friends got her ids check and then she on accidentally went to the wrong door, two seconds after them legit checking her
Horrible experience, please avoid this place, specially if you are a woman. At the exit my friend got her coat and was waiting beside coat check for the rest of us. The did not let her wait beside coat check and aggressively kicked her out
Bouncers kept shouting at everyone extremely unnecessarily. Shook up all of our friends and made some cry. Overly aggressive and no room to discuss the issues. I understand they are there to do a job but they were disturbing the peace more
The music was great, it was cool to have a variety due to the different floors, and the terrasse was beautiful. Everyone was pretty nice in there and a big plus was that there wasn't a big line to get in. The major downside is that it cost
such unnecessar anger, got screamed at by the bouncers right after we’d gone in, my friend had accidentally gone the wrong way i was trying to redirect her to the right door, she got yelled at after literally having just had her ID checked
Interesting venue, nice crowd, polite staff, good music. The drinks are pricey, but it's worth it to experience quality music and an active dancefloor. I didn't have any issues with security, my only complaint is that people aren't allowed
One of the best clubbing experiences I’ve had in Montreal by far. The cover was a bit pricey, but totally worth it based on the venue itself. There are three floors that play some of the best music I’ve experienced in a club setting (EDM,
Me and my 3 friends 3 indians including me and 1 one from other country were at CLUB UNITY on Friday. We were in the line and when we reached to the bouncer he asked me if I have a reservation. I said no so he snatched me outside the line
I’ve gone to Club Unity twice before and have always had the best time, never had a problem, until this last time. I was paying the entrance fee for two of my friends and I until the man who was serving us at coat check pointed out my bag
Fun place to go for a night out, and usually haven’t had to wait in line for too long before entry. HOWEVER, the drinks are quite expensive (but to each their own) and the staff are told not to give clients a cup of tap water if they ask,
literally the most disgusting bouncers screaming at us after looking at my friend's id she walked around through the wrong door and they told her to go back to the end of the line, we tried to explain what happened even though they looked
The place is nice for a club of this type: airy, good ventilation, good lighting, good sound system and not obscenely crowded on a Friday night. Crowd is quite young, many straight. Drinks are expensive tho, 9 euro or so (with tips) for a
I keep seeing management replying to comments so hope they are going to respond to this one. Let me start with the positives so that i can be fair to all parties, the bouncer at the door on the ground floor was very nice and checking ids
So i was referred to this spot by many people and read so many reviews on this place so i could figure out how i was going to spend my Saturday night with my best friends. This place was a huge success for myself and the place was almost
I went here in the summer of 2022, and I was just thinking about how much fun I had. Definitely one of the best nights of my life. I had a blast and the rooftop bar was great, music was good, ambience was nice. I see other reviews about
fun atmosphere but super expensive and bouncers and coat check are on a HUGE POWER TRIP constantly. they really don’t care about their customers, just cash and making peoples lives difficult. my friend got assaulted (pinned against the
Unfortunately my friend a South Asian man) was denied entry and told that if he was not on the guestlist, he could not come in. This was surely am act of racism as he asked the other people (Caucasian men and women) standing in line if
Violent behavior of the security guard! We were waiting the Uber inside (next to stairs, without block the door) for 1.5 min (it was raining) and he pushed me outside the club and pushed my friend who fell down. I honestly believe that
I never expected being treated this way at the club. It was the worst experience ever. The worse thing is that I was talking with the club owner, and the whole incident unfolded in front of him. Everyone witnessed the bouncer forcibly
I thought this club would be a safe space, but this is not at all the case. I went on Saturday night for my first time and what I saw has made me never want to go back again. I witnessed the bouncers being very aggressive towards some
If you are a night owl and love to rock on the dance floor then this one is perfect place for you. However it's not an extraordinary place, bot not bad. After coming to Montreal city, it was my first experience to explore the night
Hello, how are you? My name is Eduardo. I'll tell you my story. I came to this club for the first time because my friends told me it was very good. I bought a bottle of tequila. We were close to the DJ and out of nowhere they took
I love that you can chose different vibes on each floor and get to be in a inclusive and safe space ❤️ the staff is very helpful and the location is perfect near so many other bars and food places for your late night munchies More
The bouncers are very disrespectful. And will be shouting at you during entrance as if they own the place. Club inside is okay just if they had a respectful staff it can make a good experience. More
I went with my friend tonight and the bouncer just threw her on the floor, he touched her and threw her on the FLOOR! The worst place I've ever been. It's not a safe place, don't go there. Never.
I recently visited this nightclub and i had a mixed feeling about that experience. On the positive side, the music, and atmosphere were great. It had all the ingredients for an amazing night out.
Tried to take our bags at coat check when cover was already $35?? That is incredibly dangerous and stupid. 1) where are people without pockets supposed to keep their phones and ids? And
Great club to party at, the Staff is friendly and the drinks are very reasonably priced, they have food , dancers, rooftop terrasse & bottle service in the summertime. More
As a woman, it was super embarrassing to be asked to spread my arms to be searched at the door??? I had a dress on... i didn't have any pocket for him to search....
Never coming to Montreal again- places like this club bring the opposite of “Unity”. If you are a lesbian, this area definitely doesn’t welcome you-just your money.
TLDR; Young crowd, friendly staff with 2 ambients Downstairs you have ample space with a very high ceiling; the sound and lights
Three of my friends and I decided to try out Club Unity on Friday, October 14th. What ensued was very disappointing.
