Bought most of my animals from here as well as equipment and food. All the animals are healthy and clean. If staff aren’t helping customers they are almost always cleaning the store and animals. It’s a very hands-on experience which is good not just for a snake lover like me but also for people who are scared of snakes, and children. The store owner often lets children handle the animals in a supervised environment which enables younger animals, especially snakes, become accustomed to handling and make better pets overall. I think this is great as the children (and any prospective buyer) can see and learn how the animals are correctly handled. Anyone who has been here will know it’s not just a regular pet store as the staff know and understand the animals needs, know how to get that information across to a first time buyer, and ensure animals are healthy and eating before being sold. All my animals from Clubmoor including ones bred by the owner are happy and healthy, and if I ever have issues I know I can go to someone with the knowledge to help. Best pet store I’ve been to

Would not recommend this place, I bought a salmon pink bird eater tarantula and got double charged £80 then found other sellers selling bigger specimens for half the price… at first glance there was no water dish in the enclosure, as soon as I brought it home I attempted to feed on locusts (what they told me it had been feeding on) the lad who sold me it told me just the week before it had eaten 2 of these, but from the moment I got it home it would not feed which I deemed to be because it was preparing to molt (to which I was correct) then just three days after it molts I found it in its enclosure in a death curl… I have kept tarantulas for years since I was 15 years of age there was no issues with temperature or humidity conditions on my end. Also as someone who has kept reptiles for years on my visit to this place I noticed the majority of the snakes had mites… this place seems to be very over priced for a place that’s selling very low level poor quality animals.

Unbelievable transformation of a company! Before Andy came along there was not much future for Clubmoor pets and reptiles however Andy had turned it around and put 110% into the shop and the business he owns! Before the live feed was at a poor quality and the shop itself wasnt very welcoming living close by it was the only place available to go Now I go for live food for my bearded dragon and the quality of the live food is perfect. The Shop also has a welcoming vibe and Andy and the staff are full of knowledge ,always friendly and has the time of the day for their customers even his daughters and the lads in the shop are a credit to the company. Everything is reasonable priced aswell especially the set ups for enclosures. I wont be going anywhere else ever again!!

I go here once or twice a week minimum usually just to wander around, its hard to stay on task here so much to see but honestly the reason this place is so great is Andy and the team, they’re all really friendly and welcoming. When you’re looking for a reptile wether your first or adding to your collection this is the place I would recommend. You’ll quite often find a variety of animals being handled by customers as they’re more than happy to get them out and have you touch and look and feel them. They have everything you could want including food for the reptiles and fixtures for your environments. Great place, great people.

I've just bought my first snake and Andy who runs the shop is amazing when it comes to snakes and other reptiles. I went in quite a few times before I bought my snake (Gonzalo). I asked Andy what were the best snakes for beginners and he pointed me in the right direction. I would always recommend this reptile shop to anyone who is looking to buy any reptile because his knowledge is unbelievable. It also helps that everyone who works in the shop are extremely friendly and can't do enough for you. I buy all of my food for Gonzalo from Andy too as he's reasonably priced too. the place is stocked nicely but a tad expensive, the royal pythons should have more info visible from the front, the word morph doesn't help if you want to look for a certain morph. they were cleaning them out while i was there but instead of asking if i needed any help they said excuse me and continued cleaning and moving me away from the snakes loss of a sale there. its nice and clean and staff seem like they might be helpful if you ask them to help you. parking is a nightmare and don't go on a day when Liverpool are playing at home.

Went in there today for a look around and they had a tiny tortoise on the floor unsupervised, another customer came in and almost stood on it, I informed a staff member and asked if they wanted me to put it in the tortoise pen with the other tiny tortoises and he simply told me "No it lives on the floor." I own a tortoise myself and would never let him stay out on a cold floor for hours without the heat, definitely not a baby one, the Staff didn't really seem bothered about the baby tortoise almost being stepped on.

Always friendly and welcoming. Great range of reptiles including some more unusual species. Willing to share acknowledge and engages with the younger generation. The animals are kept in lovely condition and are healthy. We've bought 4 snakes from here and have had zero issues, they are happy and healthy and ate well. We visit regularly just to talk reptiles as it's so friendly. They also sell spiders and have started expanding into frogs too. They've done amazing things with the shop in the last few months!

Our first visit today seeking advice on starting and looking after a reptile for my son. Well when we do decide which reptile will suit us better it will be here we go to purchase one. The time and information shared with us was exceptional, the pros and cons for each breed fully explained and plenty of opportunity for my son to handle the different breeds. This place is a must for anyone who has experience with a reptile or is just starting off

Very knowledgeable and helpful, educated us and our 4 year old son, walked him around the shop explaining anything that my son asked, wide range of reptiles and products. The staff are helpful enough to answer any questions and let you handle any of the reptiles but not too overbearing where you feel pressured into buying. We had an overall great experience at the shop purchasing our first royal python. Thanks guys

My experience didn't get off to a great start but the manager and his team turned it all round for the better and was left with a really good experience after my girlfriend bought me a tortoise, whom I should say is amazing. Big shout out to Dylan top employee along with his colleagues with a mass of information around the animals they sell. We got there in the end Andy..Nice one

Absolutely the best reptile shop I have ever been to. Great service from very knowledgeable owner. With a keen eye for detail. Great selection of frozen and live food and reptile equipment. The selection of animals is hard to beat and all of them kept spot on with its husbandy needs met and great enclosures. Andy knows his stuff and I can't recommend them enough

Fantastic range of reptiles and really knowledgeable staff. Just reserved our first leopard gecko, have a feeling that it won't be the last lizard we get from there. We've got the bug! I can see why people get totally obsessed with these beauties. Very proud to say I actually stroked a python, something I never thought I'd be brave enough to do.

Fantastic shop! Went here for my two snakes, which were well looked after and in fab condition. The staff are very knowledgable and friendly and always happy to let you have a look around and answer any questions you have. Live food and equipment is always good quality! I speak with Andy several times a week for advice on entering the world of keeping Rpyal Pythons. Never any question to small, always gives good practicle unbiased advice and hes made our journey feel much less intimidating. Wish we lived closer to get to the shop more often. Very knowlegable on animal husbandry and its intricacies through out!

Excellent shop with a range of supplies and a very knowledgeable staff member (who I think was the owner) was very happy to discuss bedding options for my tortoise, and went into detail about some smaller snakes for my friend. He was clearly very passionate about the hobby. I would recommend it to all reptile enthusiasts, beginners or experts.

Great little shop. All the animals are looked after and well kept including the use of the right foods, substrate and food being dusted, you wont believe how many places don't do any of this! Really friendly, knowledgeable staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommend them if you are looking to purchase an exotic pet.

Got our beautiful dolly (the ball python) from clubmoor reptiles & they're amazing the shop is brilliant dave the tortoise (who is huge) romes around freely it's just fascinating & staff are very helpful when asking for help and advice about our newly purchased snake! Great place and reasonable priced. I took my daughter there to buy her a gecko for her 15th birthday, the staff were friendly, helpful and full of great advice. We bought a Radar Leopard Gecko and a few other bits we needed. They also said if we had any questions after we got home to just give them a call.

Honestly the best reptile shop around! I won't get reptiles from anywhere else, they always have great advise, reptiles are well cared for and well handled. Always met with a friendly smile and conversation and they have everything you need and prices are great for quality of the animals!

Great service, bought a crested gecko from them yesterday and the workers were really helpful they told me everything I needed and worked it out so I could make my own starter kit. One of the workers also told me where it came from and what food they fed it on.
