Proceed with caution Very disappointing experience with this company. CMK ELECTRICAL & DATA responded through an add on ONE FLARE .we were quoted a $44.00 call out fee to get a quote for. 1 installation of a tv wall bracket which we supplied, 2 mount our tv to the wall bracket , 3 introduce proper cable management for the concealment of cables within the wall cavity 4 relocation of a coaxial cable and suitable socket 5 supply and install 2x double power points . Both electricians were friendly and right on time . We were quoted $1000.00 which seemed expensive but we agreed to the quote because both technicians were there and ready to go.Hours later after the job was completed we inspected the required work and found a few things that we were unhappy about .1 a small hole was drilled through a nogging in the internal wall which the HDMI cord was placed through,problem is no other additional cords can be placed through this hole and if we want to replace the existing HDMI cable it would be next to impossible unless we remove the gyprock or call a professional just to replace the HDMI cord. 2. A hole was drilled through the recessed PowerPoint socket with the coaxial wedged through it instead of using a separate wall plate socket .I called the phone number on the invoice at 9pm that night to leave a message for someone to call me ,I called at this time because CMK ELECTRICAL & DATA advertise a 24/7 service .the next day I spoke to a person in charge and was spoken to rudely because of my evening phone call and was quoted another call out fee for someone to look at my concerns which I declined..we were expecting a more professional service from CMK ELECTRICAL AND DATA due to a $1000.00 we just paid .I would definitely recommend this company if you want to be overcharged and spoken to rudely. POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS BE AWARE. Months later we are still experiencing problems with this installation. Upon investigation we have found the power point which was installed had been wired into an exciting power point causing overloads.. please arrange a full refund

Stop! Read this before you call CMK. Engaging CMK Electrical & Data left me waiting for more than 3 hours and $918 out of pocket for a one hour before 5pm job that should have cost around $180 to $200 max. CMK electrical & data and his website “come on time and you can guarantee that our price will blow you away” . They also guarantee the lowest prices. In reality it means Cris Karzon will massively overcharge clients who give him their trust who don’t know much about electricity and pricing. My apartment had a electrical problem. He arrived late and did not provide a quote, “Hours, price per hour, materials, price per material etc”. He charged $380 plus gst for investigation, which only took few minutes, $455 plus gst for repairs to a hot joint and rewire fuse. Total cost $918 for one hour job. It was not even after hours. After I ask other electricians to come have a look at my apartment and invoice. They all said I been overcharged way too much. Investigating should be around $80 and change fuse and tighten a hot joint should be no more than $180. I wish you don’t make the same mistake as I did trust Cris to come on time and fair pricing. I am going to take this to NCAT the department of fair trading.

Was initially pleased with Cris' work in installing a new circuit breaker and cabling prior to my air con installation but not so sure anymore. I had my air con installed a week after and it didn't work. I asked Cris if he could come back and have a look but he was overseas, which was fine. However he didn't even think that there was a possibility that he made an error and said that he would charge me if it turns out that nothing was wrong. He also backtracked on saying that the specification of the installed circuit breaker and cabling was insufficient for my 7kw air con. Also said that he would contact me upon his return but he didn't. I had to get another licensed electrician to come out and turns out that he incorrectly connected the active from the air con circuit to the RCD without connecting the neutral, which caused the main RCD to trip whenever the air con circuit was on (i.e. Air con couldn't be used and the whole house would lose power if I tried to switch the air con circuit on). The specs of the circuit and cable was fine. Cris probably had an off day, which we all do, but post job customer service could be improved.

CMK is THE gold standard that other tradies could learn from. Cris not only delivers quality workmanship but offers the superior service standards of a true professional. Particularly as a woman, it's delightful to not be subjected to patronising 'tradie speak' and shonky over priced charm. Cris has the intelligence to offer informative and respectful communication with exceptional service delivery. It is such a pleasure having a tradesperson of this quality that we are subsequently looking at additional projects not exclusively limited to electrical with CMK. We encourage all those considering work to go with CMK first. You will not regret it.

They came to check one my ceiling fan. They gave me the the price for both repair and replacement new fan. i told them to repair it. they spent 15mins to check change the parts without my knowledge. Then they said i have to replace the ceiling fan.I was surprised why they just not tell me straightway that fan is faulty instead putting new receiver. Quotation for the whole job they gave me $750 but same job was done by someone in $450. Very disappointed

Partial information given while booking for call out as $44 only. Once the technician come home, they needed $380 find the problem and give actual quote to fix the issue. This was not told in the begining. Anyone trying to book their call out be warned and be carefull to actual price they will be charging to find the problem.

From the first day, Beau was helpful, great customer service and his recommendations were all based on real professional experience. The team was really professional, they were great on the detail, and they were super efficient. Our sincerely admiration. CMK should be proud of having teams and team members like them.

Oven repair initial quote $44 callout. When onsite $300 quoted to troubleshoot. Spent no more that 20 minutes looking at it. Said 8 problems not worth fixing. They can replace $2100. Looked online the oven can be bought for $1200. Didn't go through with it. Feel like I was mugged. Stay away

Cris responded to my request very quickly, came round at short notice, provided a quote and got on with the job. He did a great job and would definitely use him/his company again in the future.
