"I had an interview with the school in July 2022"
"This is the worst school ever"
"I would give it zero stars but you can’t ! Don’t know how ofsted gave the school GOOD , they pretended for those two days ! Only care about mental illness when it involves a white student , discrimination occurs , rules apply to certain students but for others they don’t "
"Horrible school the way my daughter has been treated at this school by one teacher in particular"
"It’s a shame I have to give 1 star for a top quality school who make nice chicken and cheese burgers that I eat everyday, but my experience as a student here was ruined by a student who goes by the name Kenzie Butterworth, this was because kenzie filmed me in the toilets with my Johnson out whilst in the loo now I can’t get any part time job because they all have to dps check me he has ruined my life, furthermore he always two foot my shins on purpose in PE coz I wouldn’t share my bbq walkers crisps with him he would always ask me for food and tried robbing me I think you Teachers need to look out for bullying because my experience here was very bad"
I had an interview with the school in July 2022. Everything seems great and the staff treat nice to me during the interview. They gave me an offer at the end and I am very happy about it! HOWEVER, this is the beginning of my nightmare!!! So, it is normal that I need to submit some documents before I start my work, and I followed everything the HR said. Apparently the school need my overseas criminal check and I told them I am able to do it when the school provides me a request letter, which should state the reason for me to get the overseas DBS and who wants my overseas DBS. Otherwise, the overseas police is not able to do that for me. But the school refuse to gave me the letter and the whole process lasted from July till now. I wasn’t working and don’t have income for 4 months because I accept their offer. Because of them, I keep waiting and spending my saving. They just wasted me so much time, money and effort. Very disappointed with Co-op
This is the worst school ever. All the students do not obtain a good education whatsoever, and their behavior is terrible and disgusting. The education overall is awful as teachers are not commited to teach properly as teaching standards are very low. If you have a problem at this school you will suffer to get the teachers attention. It's been a horrible two years for me and my brother as well. I spent most of the two years trying to protect my brothers In yr 10 and yr11 as they didn't feel safe in the school due to them being bullied. If you have any issues the headteacher or anyone responsible will not do any thing to solve the problem. What else can i say, I think that it is more then enough to describe my 2 year experience at this school.
I would give it zero stars but you can’t ! Don’t know how ofsted gave the school GOOD , they pretended for those two days ! Only care about mental illness when it involves a white student , discrimination occurs , rules apply to certain students but for others they don’t . Teachers always complaining . This school caused me to have 3 panick attacks in the space of 6 months ! Don’t send your kids here ! All the good , caring teachers have left , which is disappointing. The head girl & head boy also break several of the schools rules ! *great example they are setting for younger students * ( SARCASM) . Basically , they care more about your uniform and hair colour than your mental and physical well-being ! It needs to be demolished ! Period !
Horrible school the way my daughter has been treated at this school by one teacher in particular. Mr halshaw has been appalling he seems to have a personal vendetta against her constantly being horrible to her, going against instructions in her care plan like taking her phone of her which she needs to be able to contact me or her mum if she has a funny turn as she has a cardiac pacemaker. He also sees fit to take her ear rings of her and keeps hold of them at his discretion.he also won't let her wear her hoodie when she gets cold due to her heart problem she gets cold easily he's only bothered about the schools code of conduct. Don't send your children here altogether it's a horrible school with horrible teachers.

Not gonna lie, school was pretty terrible for my first 2 years. The rest was pretty bland. Corrupt head of year made me want to kill myself, god he was a nightmare (doesn’t work there anymore). Recently left, but I gotta give it to em, they set up the prom event really well. But in the pathways unit, trips stopped happening for me and the others after year 8. Pathways no longer goes on trips. Some advice I’d give to the school is that I hope Pathways feels more included, at least from my experience that is what I think we had not been getting. No trips or anything for us. Teachers in pathways are very nice though.
As the colleague responsible for this academy in the Coop Academies Trust I get offended when posts are made about the academy that are untrue. The community of Charlestown has a really good secondary school now and we all need to recognise this. I do not mind critical reviews if they are based on an actual visit to the academy. I continue to make regular visits and fully understand why Ofsted inspectors rated it as Good. Those who visit regularly will also know why.
Loved working there, it makes me sad to see how many individuals has such a hard time there. Some brilliant and inspiring staff with students best interests at heart. I think about many of the individuals I worked with there everyday. Particularly some wonderful students and the hard working science department!
I have heard alot of negative stories about students such as fights, stabbing, hit by a car. I would not recommend this school. The worst thing is that teachers tells students that they can't defend themselves from being bullied or if someone is attacking... Wt a shame that this school is not investigated.
The worest school in my entire life, which is boring. This show that there are discrimination between students by those lazy teacher.Even teacher abuse me that school that why i hate that school.please donot go to that school those ,who want to that school.
