  • "Dreadful place"

"A sad state of affairs that a company which depends upon the income of local residents, chooses to sell a paper that has hurt so many with disgusting lies about the people of Liverpool and Liverpool FC fans"

"I have used this shop for years as have my family"

"Staff always speak to you funny, you get hounded by charities that make you feel bad and argue because you don't give them money whenever ever you shop and when you eventually get out you get approached by beggars and big issue sellers, its never a pleasant experience i avoid it now"

"It's nothing but an insult to the people of liverpool and more so to the 96 victims and their families, it's an absolute disgrace that right on the doorstep of the people who were lied about in that scum newspaper you choose to carry on selling it, it's disgraceful on your behalf"

Dreadful place. Stacked to the rafters with inessentials. Grossly overpriced, which is unfortunate for elderly locals who may struggle to go further afield: the Council should look into this travesty. The meat selection is poor - no organic meat, and no eggs, yet entire aisles dedicated to technicolour crisps and other rubbish.

A sad state of affairs that a company which depends upon the income of local residents, chooses to sell a paper that has hurt so many with disgusting lies about the people of Liverpool and Liverpool FC fans. I will no longer be shopping at this store or the store on Utting avenue, Anfield. Shame on you CO-OP.

I have used this shop for years as have my family. However since this shop won't support local people's views in regards to the Sun news paper and the Shun the Sun campaign and won't stop selling this vile rag, I and my family will be boycotting this shop and will encourage others to do so. # jft96.

Frankie goes to Halewood is the best thing about this place. Cleans up after every ignorant swine who chucks litter. around the car park. Parcels the cardboard and knows everybody by name. Vanessa makes a mark too. Look at your customers; they pay your wages.

  • Sophie Johnson

Frank seemed to be a nice friendly person until last week he took leave of his senses and accused everyone of calling him a nonce. He was picking arguments with most of the shoppers and shouting I’m not a nonce. Even the staff were shocked.

  • Docta Osiris

Always a good experience here, lots of stuff to choose from, friendly staff and atmosphere, can sometimes get a bit crowded since it's not a massive supermarket but there's self-service as well as staffed checkouts which is good, especially

  • Alan Morris

Absolutely vile company which continues to sell the vile rag that thier customers demand off the shelves from under the counter. Disgusting cowardly behaviour just grow a pair co-op and drop it from your Liverpool stores. You have been made

  • Anthony Standish

Not sure of his first name but I think he goes by the name 'Mittie' as it is printed on the back of his high-vis jacket. Very polite gentleman who always says hello to everyone passing by and is a genuine nice guy. He is a credit to Co-Op

  • Jenny Johnson

I'm disgusted that co-op would blatantly ignore the views of the community and continue to sell a newspaper that made such horrendous lies about the people of Liverpool, disrespectful to us and to our loved ones who died at Hillsborough

  • L D

I have always associated the co-op with community no more, they continue to sell that scummy lying rag even when the community have voiced their opinion. Co-op you should be ashamed I have given 1 star only because you cannot put 0.

  • NorthernMonkey

This store and any other co-op store selling that evil rag newspaper does not deserve any Liverpool customers, to sell it from under the counter is tantamount to admitting they shouldn't be selling it at all. Myself and many other
