Dog-friendliness
I like dogs... But letting you dog use the park as a bathroom where children play and people are trying to enjoy a coffee os too much. Even if you pick it up. Dog piss smells which you may not notice if you own a dog. It's bad enough every sidewalk smells like dog piss , you don't need to ruin the park for everyone as well.

Lots of seating (both in gross terms and relative to the neighborhood population) -- something sorely lacking in many of the city's parks. Otherwise undistinguished. The only grassy area / lawn is roped off by chains. It's fairly small. No notable sculptures or other installations. It's more plaza than park; more like a lower Manhattan patch of bricks (see Zucotti "Park") than a refuge from the city.

Cobble Hill park like every other park in Brooklyn. You feel that it is quiet after the Pandemic, people come here to walk or run or just have a quiet time. Most people are wearing masks and keep social distancing. If you have some time you should go visit and enjoy a walk. But to be honest there are other amazing places to figure it out in the Island and you can enjoy a Seaview or sunset

The playing structures are too old and there are too many openings without gates. My twins ran out of the park twice. The little lawn in the middle is nice, but it slants down which makes the little ones tumble down and hit the cement below (which did happen to one of the twins). I wouldn't recommend for children's recreation, maybe more for adults. It is beautiful looking, though.

Lovely little park. The playground is cute with a little slide and a spider structure to climb on. The rest of the park is a perfect little Oasis to relax from the hectic city life. Everything is always very clean and the people taking care of the flowers are doing a wonderful job. Great place to stop for a picnic or just to sit down and stretch out your legs.

It's bit akward unless you walk a dog or push a stroller. I felt weird sitting in the most beneing corner and listening to the audiobooks. Then again please try. Its beautiful. My main understanding of the parks is Tompkins Square, so understandably Cobble Hill will ever equalize. I'll look forward to take my family members along. Don't go alone.

I grew up in Cobbler Hill. Now it's the new Brooklyn Heights. Very expensive. The blue collar workers have been priced out. PS 29 has become a public school for the wealthy. Court Street is clogged with nannys. Mommy is a lawyer and Daddy is a Physician. No one calling their kids home for dinner from the "top" floor.

This is a cute little neighborhood park that's very nice for sitting. It's too small for walking, really, so it's pretty much best for lounging on a bench or walking through on your way somewhere. It also has a small playground area that's nice for kids, though it wouldn't take many children to make it crowded.

  • Daryush Nourbaha

This cute neighborhood park has all the basic amenities one could hope for in a park. There are picnic tables, benches along a center lawn that is open to people but not pets, and there's a playground area for children, including a concrete dolphin fountain children are bound to love.

Bring your Bagels!!! This is our go-to coffee and bagel spot. (Recommend Atlantic Bagels nearby) This park is a neighborhood gem - with great people watching. It's kid central for sure! Bring a board game, a book or a birthday party! (Only note is that there is no bathroom)

Cobble hill park is as charming as it sounds. Straight out of a romantic comedy set in Brooklyn this park is peaceful, beautiful, and cozy. It brings together the community in a green space surrounded by brownstones and trees that make you feel like you’ve escaped the city.

  • Jade Bonica

It's a quaint park, lots of dogs and kids. Friendly group of neighborhood people and couples just enjoying the patch of green. It's on a really beautiful block lined with Stable houses and lots of old Brooklyn charm. I and my dog love this park.

This place is a lovely little gem. It has just one slide, a sandbox and a climby spider, with a bunch of room to run/scoot around and a grassy area in the middle but it's different from most of the playgrounds and it's a big hit with my kiddos.

A very bucolic clean and lovely park right in the heart of the Charming Cobble Hill. It is never noisy. An excellent place to take all ages of children. With a tiny little historical mention of Brooklyn at the front entrance.

Cute little park in a cute little neighborhood. Nice place to enjoy some coffee and a pastry. It feels very much like an enclave, like you only come here if you have a sufficient amount of privilege in your life.
