Oh my, they aren't kidding! The deserts here are absolutely amazing! This is a hidden gem here in Houston! If you are on the Southside, stop in - they are so nice and did I mention how good the deserts are???

I went in and after about five minutes was sick for some reason. There is no bathroom. After getting sick in the trash can I asked for a napkin (which also isn’t publicly available for some reason) so I could clean up and leave, but the barista was too focused on essentially pushing me out the door with my coffee to be helpful. Terrible service. Have some human decency and understanding.

The first time I came into Coffee and Cakes Cafe I was a little taken back by how silent it was. It’s a great change of pace from Houston traffic! Soft music, warm food, and hot (or cold) coffee. You have to try the spinach and turkey quiche, I can’t even lie when I say it is the best food in the plaza , definitely more wholesome than pizza and burgers any day! Recommend everyone give this place a try.

My little girl and niece love going here for the tea cakes and pound cakes almost every week. Tried a apple cake today, very good with coffee. Can't get enough of this place. The owner is super nice and great customer service. Recommend this place for some good homemade sweets.

This place is so nice! You might miss it when driving past, but it's worth the search! Lovely woman who owns the shop warmed up our cake and brought it out on cute little platters. Nice christian music played softly in the background while we enjoyed our hand-blended frappuccinos! 10/10 would come back!

My boss and I randomly stopped by here for some coffee, and I'm glad we did. The cake was amazing, the coffee was fresh, and the owner was a complete sweetheart. I would highly recommend coming here for coffee. Great ambience, great people, great food and coffee.

Last weekend I met a friend here for coffee and it was a wonderful experience. The Frappuccinos here are better then Starbucks. This place is a jewel. I 100% will come back. Thank you for the lovely service and for letting us stay in your shop for so long.

Amazing little Cafe. Had a delicious slice of banana bread and the coffee was fresh, hot and had great flavor. My coworker and I hung out for 1 hour between meetings and it definitely didn't disappoint. If you're in the area definitely check it out!

Stopped by today for a coffee and could not resist a piece of cake. Coffee was delicious, hot and tasty. Cake was even better! I'll definitely make it a point to stop by. Pleasant atmosphere, delicious cake and wonderful coffee.

The cakes here are awesome! They are moist and oh so good! The owner is so nice, warm, and friendly! Definitely a must try for your sweet tooth!
