We took my husband's brand new suit and my daughter's bridesmaid dress to the cleaners for my sister's wedding. We get it back, but I never took the garments out of the plastic to check them because I wouldn't expect anything to go so wrong with a place with such high reviews. They didn't do my dress because they weren't sure they wouldn't damage it. I'm glad they didn't. Anyway, fast forward to a few days before the wedding. I take the dress out and realize it's completely frayed on the inside lining and has a huge snag on the chest area. I begin to panic and check the other pieces, and my husband's suit is completely snagged in some areas. We are literally about to leave for Austin. We had no time to call the cleaners, and we definitely couldn't get a new bridesmaid dress, so we made do. We come back and let the cleaners know hoping to bring it to their attention because this was major damage. And maybe to at the very least get compensated for cleaning costs, but they said no because it had been worn, yep cause we had no other choice. Just a word of caution. Don't make the mistake of not checking your clothing right when you receive it.

Basically, I have an issue with pricing. The service was fine and the cleaning appears professional. However there is a sign in the window stating that dry clean any garment $2.97, I took in 2 - two piece suits (4 - pieces) and the total charge was in $26 and change. I was able to use a coupon and bring the price down to $19 and change, but still this is more than $12 to $13 charge I was expecting. I feel that without a price list being posted or total cost being stated on drop-off receipt or employee that it is a bait and switch to post a price of $2.97 on the window. Updated: After posting my review, a representative contacted me about my concerns with how pricing is handled. I have recommended that a price list be posted in cleaners showing the cost of each service and provide clearer pricing information. I am raising my initial review from 1 star to 3 based on their responsiveness to my review.

Edited after contact with management: They were able to promptly address the issue to my satisfaction. Although a mistake was made, it was rectified. The review below explains my experience prior. If you do have any issues, they will do their best to fix it. They do a good job cleaning and are prompt. However, I am very frustrated that I had a coupon but could not use it because they used my credit card before they could apply it. There was no solution offered other than apply it next time, but I do not think I will be needing their service in the near future. Edit for clarification: I used the app to say I was on my way and they charged my card before I arrived. I believe this is a bad practice as I have not even seen my clothes at this point. The person said cancelling the transaction and redoing it was not an option.

This is by far the BEST dry cleaning service we have EVER had! I've been in the military for 14+ years, traveled all over the world, but this place is the only place to get it right and get it right the first time! The entire process was amazing from start to finish. You can even show up and use a drive-thru! Yup, no more walking inside with your 18 items to get cleaned, just fill out your information, select your services, hand over your items and drive off! Lori was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail. She had our stuff back the next day and it looks FANTASTIC and smells great too! Oh, how did I forget...25% for military and first responders!! If you need dry cleaning done ...THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO IT!! Thank you Lori!!!

After using another local laundry and cleaning service for approximately 15 years, I opted to look elsewhere due to a degradation in the quality of service in spite of the increasing costs. As a result of a very favorable recommendation from a friend, I decided to try Comet Cleaners. I was very impressed with Rae, her very friendly and customer-focused demeanor; the quality of cleaning and laundry services provided and the extent of assistance to ensure customers get the best possible pricing discounts; as well as the overall well-kept appearance of the facility. Bottom line: Rae and Comet Cleaners have made a very favorable impression on me. I will definitely be using Comet Cleaners for my future dry cleaning and laundry needs.

This is by far the best experience I have had at a cleaners. First, my clothes were actually dry cleaned and smell fresh. Sounds odd but I have been to other dry cleaners and literally received my clothes back unclean and had a strong chemical smell to make you think otherwise. I now trust this cleaners with my beautiful suits. Care and attention was placed and the customer service was amazing!! The nice man even offered to put my clothes in my car. This specific location has renewed my trust in Comet once again. I went to another location in relative proximity and that service level was lackluster. Comet cleaners on Bulverde is now my go to location!! Thank you for an Awesome service experience!!

Affordable dry cleaning can be really hit or miss, but I was impressed from the first call. I had a basic pricing question that was of course answered right away, but then the employee invited me to bring my items in that day complete with exactly when they'd be ready if I did so. The drive-thru was great (the Dunkin's in the parking lot gets really busy), the employee was fantastic at taking my information and items, and as promised, they were ready at pickup. The price was good, and lower than other places whose service wasn't near as great. Will definitely return. They made it SO easy.

I took 52 cotton dinner napkins in to be pressed. They said pick up would be in 3 days. I arrived at 6pm on the 3rd day and napkins weren't ready as promised. I was leaving town the next day for a wedding and needed the napkins. Amanda called mgr Rosalie who said she would go to the factory to personally make sure napkins were finished. They called before noon the next day stating napkins were ready. It cost $104 for the napkins which I thought was a little high but they made the effort and at least got them finished in time for me to get them to the wedding.

How do you put a value on the professionalism received by the employees? Asides the quality and the ease of business, Comet cleaners simplifies my busy life by utilizing their drive thru service and the ladies knowing me by name. Not only are they prompt but the place my garments in the back seat of my truck and wish my a blessed and happy day. Why do I keep using Comet cleaners, because they took the time to treat me as if I was a high volume client when reality I’m just a once in a while client. Thank you Comet.

Rae is the heart of Comet and this location is an excellent dry cleaner. Rae is always professional, fast, helpful and friendly. I thought I would try this company once since noticing a decline in quality at my current dry cleaner up the road and I haven't looked back since. This Comet is unlike and better than any of the cleaners I've tried in San Antonio and the best on Bulverde road of all the competitors. If it weren't for the employees at this location it would be just like any other dry cleaners.

I use Comet cleaners #71 on Bulverde road Amanda the manager and Rosalie the worker bee are very in tune to the customers needs they always explain the whole process if you have questions. They Always ask if I’m satisfied with a smile. The turn around is fast if you can get it there early enough you’ll have it back the same day if not next day after 6pm but it’s always ready earlier they’ll send you an email also they can pick up and deliver if you need that service. There services are not too pricey.

I was looking for a new dry cleaner near my home, and I found this wonderful dry cleaner so I decided to try it. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by the man behind the counter named Max. He was very friendly. Not only did I get great service, but I also got a great conversation while I was there with Max. I will definitely be returning for all of my dry cleaning needs. They offer drive up service which is wonderful and they do pick up and deliveries so excited I found this place.

After picking up my winter coat from Comet I realized that my zipper had been broken off. Within one day of me letting them know what happened, they responded and immediately provided a solution. I dropped my coat off with them and they took it to an alteration place to get the zipper replaced, free of charge and with the best customer service from Rae & Patricia. I am a loyal customer because of their great dedication to their customers. 100% recommend!

LOVED this cleaners!!! They were awesome from drop off to pickup. I was able to use a coupon and save 25% on my total bill. They were very professional and explained everything I needed to do to create my online profile and explained I would receive an email letting me know if my items were ready before my pickup date (I was quoted 2 days but was ready the day before). I Just recently Moved to San Antonio from Dallas and used Comet Back Home, But the customer Service and the Actual Service provided went above and beyond any cleaning service I have ever used. Tired of a cleaner who consistently destroyed shirts using a press too hot. I was delighted to find the happy, helpful professionals at Comet Cleaners. Amanda was charming and explained the coupons from the online website would be honored just mentioning them. I have a very busy schedule so I rushed there after work and got there at 6:58pm Monday June 6th. And the lady there refused to let me drop my clothes off. I live nearby so I will be sure to let everyone in my neighborhood know about this experience. Take your clothes to Dutch boy cleaners on Bulverde rd instead. Y’all should have a sign saying “ closed at 6:58pm will not be accepting any drop offs. “

Comet Cleaners does an outstanding job for us!! I have tried several other cleaners and none can compare to Comet. Our clothes are always professionally done and in a timely manner. The store manager Rae is very professional and always greets me by my last name when I enter the store. She is a true credit to their company. I would hope that my employees are as professional as Rae !!!

Beware of hidden costs! I noticed an increase in pricing and the receipt does not itemize what you are paying, When a recommendation is made make sure you request the cost. People at the desk can’t help you if you have an issue and manager or owner will not return call if you have a concern. I’ve moved on and found another dry cleaner with more integrity and better follow up.

This was my first time trying comet off of Bulverde Rd. Rosalie was very helpful and kind when receiving my clothes. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. I recently took some very sentimental pieces of clothing that belonged to my late grandmother to be dry cleaned and they did a phenomenal job! They even called to update me on some difficult to treat spots and some holes they found in the clothing. The pieces look like new!

The rep working at this location is very nice and professional. I took two comforters and one turned out great. The other didn't turn out as nice. I'm guessing it's the difference in the quality of the comforters and not the fault of Comet. I would use them again. I'll just stick to taking clothes and not comforters.

I dropped off a very expensive petticoat and the price for cleaning was amazing. I have taken this same petticoat to 2 other dry cleaners which the charge was between $20-$30 bucks. I love Comet cleaners but this cleaners at this location is a blemish on the company. They can not follow instructions and always mess up my order. The leadership (Amanda) and her crew are a "Soup Sandwich". I have been taking my clothes to Comet cleaners on Evans and never had a problem.
