Majority of reviews are pointing at horrible service. I wasn’t too sure how bad it can be, so i took a chance! Must admit a very big mistake on my end. The receptionist at the front desk who checked us in was extremely rude! I wouldnt be comparing her service with gas station, motel, quick service restaurants because that will be degrading for them. One can’t be the face of the hotel #comfortinn if you’re least interested in your customers and lack basic etiquettes. There is only one bad apple here rest of the staff members were courteous and friendly. One would expect management to step in and provide adequate training especially with the brand like #choicehotels, however seems like they are not sincere in their efforts either. Just noticed the General manager has been coping the same apology message for years and yet no actions been taken! Thats pathetic. Stay away from this hotel unless you’re taking hospitality course and want to learn “guest etiquette 101 : what NOT to do”

I would give this place 0 star if I could. Ridiculously terrible customer service. I needed to stay 1 night and was coming back from out of town (had to wait a day to wait before getting my new place). Took a hotel room which I checked in for...was barely in there 2 hours. Needed a room switch to accommodate my wife/kids who had arrived earlier than expected from out of town. Hotel would not allow me to switch the room and just pay the room difference even though the whole place was EMPTY! They said I had to keep my existing room reservation and pay for it + pay for the new room and/or pay an additional $50/fee. Ridiculous...never heard of such a policy. To top if off the hotel did not have water for the first 5 hours I was there. The room smelled of mould. I tried to resolve with the girl at customer service...instead of trying to help me out she argued with me and hung up the phone. There are many other options nearby...AVOID THIS PLACE!

If you stay here you likely will not sleep. I’ve stayed in $30 motels that were cleaner/better. $170/night for ‘2’ star. They haven’t put a dime into this place since probably the 90s. Everything is old and overdue for a renovation. The pillows are 12”x12” bricks. The HVAC unit in the room sounds like sleeping next to an electrical transformer - you will need to turn it off and sweat through the night or you will not be able to sleep with it on. Seriously it was like sleeping next to a power station a foot away from you face buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz all night - torture. Then you’ll get woken up at 6am (assuming you were able to fall asleep in the first place) by the highway construction trucks 20 feet from your room. Stay somewhere else. Not worth $170/night. Oh and I was told they have complimentary breakfast in the lobby. There was nothing there at 8am, no coffee, nothing.

Don't stay here! The rooms are dirty and the toilets had fecal stains. We asked for another room and they said no. When they declined, we asked if housekeeping can come clean the washroom and they said there is no housekeeping at 6:30 pm. I had to clean it myself, so they offered me 10% off my stay. HOWEVER, they never honoured it. The staff kept on saying only the General Manager, Adnaan, can process it so I have to talk to him, but he's never there. I called several times to speak with him, he was either not there and when he finally picked up he said I had to go through Booking.com. I asked him to send me an email saying he would honour the 10% so I can send this to Booking.com, but he refused. I went through Booking.com, but Booking.com never got a response from the hotel. Take home message: not only dirty, but also dishonest. Don't stay here.

I was attending an event at the paramount center, and had to look for somewhere to stay as my vehicle had broken down. We arrived at this location and they were amazing, the customer service was excellent and the staff went over and above to accommodate us. We decided to stay another night and again customer service was amazing. The rooms were clean, and smelled clean, beds were comfortable which is good as I have a severe back issue. The lobby was clean, bright and inviting. Although my friend was the one that booked the room, I am still impressed with how we were accommodated. With all the traveling I do, I must say this is the best hotel I have stayed in. And I will be staying here again.

My family and I were victims of a serious bedbugs Infestation in the room 409. We observed bites and itchiness on our bodies over night, and when we checked the mattresses, we found a lot of bedbugs of different sizes. A specimen of bedbugs was handed to the staff at the front desk. The employees were helpless, we were not offered another room, and the manager was unreachable, while my family and I were under extreme stress and panic. We had to check out to find another hotel. I tried to reach the manager by email and phone without success for 2 weeks! Very disappointing!

This hotel provided me with a room that was comfortable, clean and quiet, at an affordable price, and so I gladly recommend it to other travellers. Hotel staff are courteous and helpful. The breakfast area is clean and pleasant, with a wide variety of delicious food items available (fruit juices, cold cereals, milk, yogurt, bread (and a toaster), jams, fresh fruit, ...). The wifi network provided a good Internet connection in my room. If I could ask for only one thing, it would be a clock radio in my room - I would have liked to have been able to set an alarm so that I could be awakened by CBC news or good music.

There was something off about the place. Don’t get me wrong it was clean, breakfast was good but there was a few creepy guy’s loitering around. We had a girls cheer team with us and cops had to be called because the guy’s knocked and entered a room when the girl answered..made inappropriate comments about how beautiful the girls and moms were. Loitered in the hallways of several floor charging his phone. When reported to front desk they did nothing about it and one of our parents had to call the cops. Seriously shady! The guy came back next day sitting in his car with blacked out windows and front desk said he wasn’t staying with them.

This place pleasantly surprised me! To be honest I assumed since it is close to the airport it wouldn’t be that good! I was WRONG though… Upon arriving and checking myself in my single King sized room was one of the BEST up to date hotel rooms I have stayed in! Now, I am not picky but I have stayed at my fair share of hotels… so I know quality when I see it! Not only was my room legit, the, hotel in itself is pretty classy as well! I usually stay in Marriott hotels, but this might at least have me check The Hilton listings before I make my choice! Keep up the amazing work yall! P.S. The staff was amazing! Sometimes you just need a budget hotel that is close to where you need to be. This one is great value for money. Rooms are large and clean, staff is pleasant and courteous. It has free breakfast and free parking. It’s right off the highway and has a pool. It is not claiming to be a 5 star, and it’s not, but it is great quality for the price. It answered all our needs and more. We got the room with the kitchen and it was well worth the bit of extra money. Very satisfied.

Showed up at 1 30 AM after a long international flight to find out at the desk that our booking had been cancelled hours before arriving. We had messaged them prior to confirm that arriving that late was okay and they confirmed that it was. The staff pretty much told us to deal with it and we weren’t even allowed to use their phone to find another room. We were stranded outside at 2AM in the cold with no phone until a family member managed to find us a room at Holiday Inn who were amazing, will never book with Comfort Inn again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Hotel room was spacious and clean except for a few hairs on the sheets and in the shower. All towels were clean. Thoroughly checked the bed, mattress, and bed frame for bed bugs due to a recent review posted (and being in close proximity to said room). Found no bed bugs nor any signs of bed bugs. Woke up free of any bites. Comfy king bed, good night’s sleep. Good breakfast selection except the coffee was inedible! No body wash provided in washroom. Bathtub drain was clogged so it wouldn’t drain while showering.

So I ordered pizza ate half went to put it in the fridge, and there is a puddle of black mold in the fridge and rusty racks. So I went and asked if they had a different fridge, they said they’d try to find one there wasn’t one so I went back to my room. Instead of offering me a new room or something along those lines he came up with DAWN DISH SOAP and “scrubbed it away” then offered me a refund if I left as well which I thought was very rude on the owners part. Despite on going construction in front of this hotel that made it totally inaccessible except from a detour through back streets, they provided no information to find your way to the door, or even acknowledgement that a problem exists. I'm afraid to recommend this hotel to others because of the bad experience we had. Facility and food is ok otherwise. Staff needs improvement. Very pleasant staff, however hotel is very tired and in need of updating. Would also suggest that an alert or instructions for access be noted on their site specific website, as applicable. For example, construction at the time of my visit made it very difficult to access hotel due to road closures.

Was difficult to get to due to construction. Also pool was closed by Public Health. Which was why I booked it to help entertain kids. It was a long night. These should have been communicated prior to arrival. Staff were friendly and room clean but that's the only good things I can say.

Terrible The rooms especially the bathroom needs a deep clean. The thermostat knobs were broken and there is no control over the heat in the room. The fridge knob was also broken and the fridge wasn’t very cold.

This hotel is exactly what you expect from the reviews. The other customers here are not what you would like to be surrounding yourself with, the room is not well kept, and the service is well below average.

Unprofessional staff, calling to ask why we are not back to our rooms yet. Apparently watching our movements very disturbing. We don't understand why they care when and why we are or are not in our rooms.

We were happy with our location as we had quick access to major roads and were able to do the sightseeing we wanted to do without paying the exorbitant rates that hotels in downtown Toronto were charging.

Was all that I expected. Except for some noisy guests in the early morning everything was perfect, including the price. Once I called reception at 4 a.m. the guests were dealt with and the noise stopped.

Amazing Hotel, we got had an elderly person with us that was not able to get on the bed. the hotel gave us a seperate rolling bed to accomadate without any extra charge.

Good value for money. Bot worth upsizing room as additional features are not working or unsanitary.
