I did not have a good experience with Elate or whatever they want to call themselves. The move was drastically underbid, I suspect, because they sent out an entirely inadequate number of people. Then the movers were hard to get a hold of, didn't update me on delays or problems in transit, didn't listen to basic packing or unpacking instructions (i.e. pack this room last), and pressured me into leaving positive reviews on Google while they stood there, waiting for me to write something. Furthermore, I paid for a full unpack. The movers themselves, the guys in the truck, had not been told this and were shocked when I asked them why they were leaving with the job undone. There was a rush to do some unpacking at that point, but less than half the boxes were unpacked. I gave up asking them to unpack more because they were in a rush to catch their flight. I have no idea if all of my items have arrived or are in good shape because so many are still in boxes. Moreover, I have serious doubts about the accuracy of the inventory I signed. Unlike previous interstate moves, these guys did not take the list seriously. They even told me not to worry, it was just paperwork for their bosses, but everything was surely here. (!) I thought Elate was too good to be true when I got their quote, and I was right. I should have listened to my gut and gone elsewhere. Two stars instead of one because despite being disorganized and unprofessional, the guys on the truck worked super hard. They also did a nice job wrapping and protecting furniture. They just were too small of a crew and had to cut serious corners to make it work.

George and his team worked tirelessly for 12 hours!! They were efficient and professional and very thoughtful. For example, would ask before packing up any personal items. They advised me honestly about packing and about where it was or was not necessary to pay for extra packing materials. They were friendly from beginning to end, and very accommodating to any and all interruptions (e.g., small children running around). I cannot recommend George and his team highly enough.

We wanted say how amazing George and his team were during this stressful day of moving. They packed our entire apartment and we have a lot of stuff. They worked without stopping and were so happy and friendly. We would recommend them to anyone who is moving.

Elate sent 2 movers - Bain and Oleg. They picked up furniture at 2 locations and delivered within the estimated time. They were professional and efficient - a pleasure to work with. Would definitely use Elate again
