Disappointed is an understatement. I called Peter the property manager (Tuesday 3rd January) to follow up on a question I had raised during the holidays. There was no internet port in the property and I was asking if we need to pay for it. I respected the fact he was on leave and was updating him on what has occurred in his absence when technically the ladies should have done that since he is my property manager. Anyhow, I was respectful, friendly and straightforward. I was aware that he doesn't know me "personally" and started the call by introducing myself and how I believe communication is key, and that we will be in contact throughout this lease period... etc. As I started updating him, he interrupted me saying (let me stop you there and let's keep it short). He presumed that I am complaining about the property and jumped to the conclusion that if I am not happy with it, I can break the lease and there will be a penalty for it. When I tried to stop him to explain that this is definitely not where I was going, he was quite rude and asked me not to interrupt him, although he did so originally! After he finished talking, I explained myself and advised him of the fact that I wasn't complaining and that I was more than happy to cover the cost of a bigger hot water system and aircon (unit and installation). This was raised with the landlord who already agreed. So, his rudeness was completely unnecessary. He left me quite shaken. Furthermore, although I mentioned on the phone that I believe he was a little rude, he wasn't even apologetic. Honestly, I was almost in tears after we hung up. I reached out with friendliness & act of good faith and received nothing from his end but abruptness.

Amazingly professional and all round top bloke. Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. Darrin from community first stood out as the best Sydney has to offer: their organic rankings are excellent (meaning people find listings on his site easily), their social media presence was strong, and I could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. We spoke with Darrin and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that we are currently in difficult and changing times in the world and it would be tough to sell. Darrin made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), having professional photographs taken, and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. I've recommended Darrin Smith and the Community First real estate team to everyone I know. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I realize it won't always be this easy to sell your home, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.

Darrin's͏ experience and negotiation skills were key to getting us the best price. We͏ were really happy to have Darrin sell our place. He worked hard to get us the best price. When he first visited the house, he was well presented, he took the most notes and told us his recommendations for minor improvements. Other agents wanted to put our house on auction but Darrin explained that the local market was cooling off, instead of an auction he suggested to set a price guide. He was right. In the end, we only had two real buyers interested in our place. But with Darrin's negotiation skills he got us a price above the guide! We were very happy. The Community First office staff were also very good. On settlement day, they called immediately to confirm our bank details and instantly made the transfer. In summary, we recommend Darrin and his office after they sold our home. Darrin's experience and negotiation skills were key to selling our place. He suggested the best strategy to get the best price. He was hard working and friendly. He kept us up to date. He answered the phone whenever we called and took the time to explain the questions we had. The whole process went very smoothly and we got a price we were very happy with!

During our recent foray into the real estate arena we were lucky enough to come across Michael Galluzzo from Community First Real Estate in Liverpool. After some of the other dodgy sales people we had experienced, Michael was like a "breath of fresh air": Operating in an honest and open manner at all times. There were no high pressure sales tactics, or agents telling us what we like, rather a communicative style that assisted us in our search for the right property. Michael went above and beyond, whether it was answering calls at 7.30 at night, or arranging inspections throughout the weekends or after work, he responded and made it happen. This is my first time leaving a negative review at a real estate. Peter Frangie was HORRIBLE to deal with. Not a nice gentleman at all. He made the experience very difficult and caused us a lot of stress. At the time of vacating our property, he had claimed our full bond and had what seemed to be dodgy invoices drawn up with damages over $5000. He had taken pictures of minor damages and had provided us with an inflated quote. We attempted to rectify the issues with Peter for over a week however he refused to meet with us. He caused us a lot of stress and running around for something that could have been rectified easily. This was taken to tribunal where we were able to negotiate with Nameeta and Mike. They were fantastic and we all walked away happy. If only we had them from the start. Thank you to you both. Peter, you are a horrible person.
