Susan is far too incompetent to do this job. Since March, I have attempted to reach the consulate in 42 occasions, and left message each time without a phone call being returned. In March, Susan stood me up for an appointment to have an apostille done on my German birth certificate. It took u til today’s date to reach her to attempt to reschedule. Now, Susan states she can’t complete an apostille. She seriously needs to be fired. She has absolutely no idea what she is doing. Germans are known for producing Mercedes Benz, Susan is more of a Hyundai. Not consistent with the quality expected from a German organization. Further, when offered to provide a recorded conversation of Susan previously stating she said she could do an apostille, she just hung up with phone. Classy susan. Real classy.
The entire process to get anything done here is too slow, too time consuming and outdated. Erika did not tell us we need a money order until we were done with the passport applications. It was a pain to find anyone who still sells money orders! Please get someone competent for the job to do it! This was not the first negative experience with the gen. consulate office!
At first, the process took forever and I merely got a response, but then there was a change in staff, and suddenly, everything went vey fast, professional, and reliable. Erika and her colleague were helpful, and I got my new passport faster than expected.
I am so glad not having to travel to Los Angeles to apply for a passport. Susan was very professional and personable. She made sure I had all the correct papers before showing up for the appointment.
Susan was very accommodating for all of my needs in the matter of getting a power of attorney notarized for German officials.
Incompetent. I don’t know what this place is even for because they have no knowledge of anything regarding German visas.
I have called here several times and they never answer the phone. Even left messages. Is there even a consulate?
I was able to reach the office and they are working to schedule an appointment so I'm changing my review.
Does this office even exist? 2 weeks now and I still just keep getting voicemails with no return call.
Never answering the Phone, nor replying to the messages I keep leaving.
Easy to find, didn't take longer than expected.
