"Great place to park for medical appointments at St Joseph's or medical buildings around there"
"This playground has amazing equipment for kids from 2 and up! Mini rock climbing wall, pretend logs and stumps for climbing, slides, swings and so much more"
There are many such places which I like to visit. During my childhood I remember we used to visit lots of Parks & other places during my vacations but a place which is very close to my heart is a temple on the top of a hill. The name of the temple is “Tin Jhanda” meaning three flags. The temple is situated in the top of the hill which has 250 stairs. I used to visit there with my mother. That place always provides peace & happiness to my heart. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The idol there is so beautiful. It has both the faces of Lord Shiva & Mata Parvati. The idol looks so heavenly. The silence & the serenity of the temple is the thing I liked the most. The view of the entire city from the top of the hill is so beautiful. The Three flags are always there in every weather. Be it heavy rain or storm, it does not fall highlighting the power of the temple. People from faraway places come to worship the temple. This temple will always a hold a very special place in my heart
I live right across the street from Corktown Park, I have 2 daughters, 10 and 14 for the last 4 years living in this neighborhood, we have walked up and down the escarpment stairs, walked as far as we could along the Escarpment Trail. We have officially made this our Spring end, Summer begins, tradition. Beautiful scenery, great neighbors, except for "porch pirate's" make this a great neighborhood to live!!
Lovely park with brand new playgroundband equipment. 2 basket ball courts and soccer fields. Love walking the trail around the park, which meets up with the rail trail/Bruce Trail. I've never seen an open washroom, but I've never really needed to use one there.
Playground
New play structure, lots of options. Basketball courts and soccer fields.
Great place to park for medical appointments at St Joseph's or medical buildings around there. It is a bit of a walk but it is free parking for 2 hours. There is also a beautiful park with a washroom. During the week the school does use it for reccess. It has a playground, soccer fields and a basketball court as well.
This playground has amazing equipment for kids from 2 and up! Mini rock climbing wall, pretend logs and stumps for climbing, slides, swings and so much more. A big soccer field for playing and shaded areas for picnicking. Park benches and paved walkways make the park more accessible. Such an awesome place!
Best park in and near downtown Hamilton. You always get a place to play and hangout. It has 3 soccer feild, place to play baseball, people play cricket and a children's playing area. The best part I like is that it is connected to rail trail which is long till Albion falls and is covered by nature.
The park itself is small, well maintained and quite beautiful. Especially at night when the trees are lit up. Or if the fountain is on (idk why but sometimes its off). If you're already downtown its definitely worth a walk through. Its a nice spot to sit and watch the city bustle around you.
Can't believe i just discovered this park! . I literally live 5mins away!... but anyways I don't blame me... I just picked up running yesterday ...and discovered this amazing Park!... such a nice nice place... and for whatever good reason everyone seem so nice and chill
This is a great family friendly park. It has a nice paved walkway around the perimeter and a basketball court and soccer field to enjoy. Although I do jog, I haven't actually run here. It served as a good stopover while a family member attended hospital appointments.
This park leads you to the Escarpment Rail Trail. They recently setup a new playground for the kids, but no splashpads. This is a very basic park where you could go walk around and play basketball. There's also a dog park here which is just a few walks away.
I absolutely love this spot and haven't been by in a long time it's got everything you need and a splash pad with an 8 minute walking distance at Carter Park so you literally can't go wrong I also accidentally left her basketball here for
Are we really rating parks now? Corktown Park, together with Carter Park and Shamrock Park serves the Corktown neighborhood with excellent recreation access. Corktown features multiple playing fields, a basketball court and a playground
Used to live right next to this park and took my dogs there every day loved it . just popped in today to walk my dog after 2 years of not being there and it was dirty, full of garbage , and graffiti all over the place , such a shame
Very large and nice park. Caution as sometimes broken glass or other unwanted items can be found in and around this park. Freshly redone basketball court/ball hockey area. Fun for most in either one of the parks corners.
Little bit of everything here. Basketball court with mesh, soccer field, and a track that encircles the park. Lots of space for everyone and immersed in a school zone and residential area. Great place for kids.
Beautiful clean park for sporting activities, children playing on the playground or simply relaxing. It's in Central Hamilton area but quiet and great atmosphere. Also has a trail that runs through it.
Brand new playground. Relatively tall slides. Swings are old but in serviceable condition. Interesting/fun features include pretend toadstools and a roller conveyor slide.
This is a small but nice park the whole family can enjoy. It has many sitting areas, a playground for the young at heart and a small field to throw a ball around.
I was surprised to have stumbled upon this big park. I saw families in the park and many breeds of beautiful dogs being walked around the park perimeter.
Large park, with a soccer field fenced in. Big park for the little kids, bunch of swings, basketball court, and pavilion with picnic tables.
Beautiful Park, excellent place to bring your family for a picnic or just go for a nice quiet stroll and enjoy the scenery.
Good location for long walking & Running. Available play area for kids also. You can access hiking trail also from here.
