Dr Chiem so far is the best and most professional dentist that I have ever met! I had had terrible and bad dentists in the past so Im super nervous when its time to clean or get things on my teeth fixed. I had braces and veneer before so now my teeth are very sensitive! However, Dr. Chiem has made my experience first time at Coronado Family Dental exceptional! Its almost PAIN FREE, especially when she injected numbing gel inside my mouth! I got informed before each procedure and got advise on how to take good care and maintenance my teeth health. I had an appointment for general exam (X ray), cleaning and filling. Dr. Chiem cleaned my teeth and she was very careful, gentle, and CLEAN! Everything is clean there and nice! Staff are very friendly and professional as well. I feel wonderful, clean, refresh and very relaxing during and afterward. I love my teeth and its hard to find the best dentist here in Albuquerque. I think I have found one! Highly recommended!

It’s always scary visiting a dentist, let alone, a new dentist. I will admit that I don’t take great care of my teeth. Growing up I considered dentists butchers because every single one I visited caused me great pain. The dentists and the staff of these offices were generally pretty mean or having a bad day everyday I was there. I visited this dental office with my 4yr old daughter. We were both getting a checkup and cleaning. The facility was very clean and the staff were all smiling behind their masks. Everyone there was friendly, especially our dentist. The process went better then I expected and we were entertained by a Disney movie while we were worked on. I found myself day-dreaming quite often as the experience was very comfortable. I highly recommend a visit if you’re looking for any dental care. A+ from me.

A thorough and pleasant visit. I hadn't been to the dentist in a couple years, and though I made the appointment to address some tooth pain, they were able to fit me in for a cleaning and exam as well, which I greatly appreciated. The front office staff is kind and professional. Dr. Cheim has great chair-side manner; she is knowledgeable, engaging and expressed a genuine care about the best course of action for my tooth pain. We spoke about multiple options and a follow up plan. Sara, was also great - gentle with taking my digital x-rays and finishing up my cleaning. The office is clean and bright, with the latest technology (love the personalized welcome message when I came into the room). Overall, just very impressed and grateful to have found a good dentist for my current and future needs. Highly recommend.

I was passing through Albuquerque on a vacation and my crown fell off while staying at a nearby hotel. The next morning, I walked to Coronado Family Dental to see if they could place the crown back. It appeared that they were closed since the door was locked so I began walking back to my hotel. A few seconds later, the receptionist caught me before I left and asked if I needed any help. I explained the situation I was in and she gladly offered to set up an emergency appointment for that same morning. Both the doctor and the receptionist were super helpful and nice, especially for the situation I was in! I would definitely recommend Coronado Dental for any dental issues!

My husband did a random search of dentists covered by our insurance and closest to our house, and by a stroke of luck found Coronado Family Dental. We both got routine exams and cleaning after about a year of no services. The office and staff were great! The office was very clean, and they have screens in each room to go over your x-rays and treatment plans with you. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They were willing to do all the work I needed the same day, and called me the next day to see how I was doing after my work. Recommended them to my co-workers the day after I went because I was so impressed with them. Really, a great dentist!

Everyone at Coronado Family Dental were so friendly and reassuring, even speaking to the receptionist on the phone I felt more at ease. I haven’t been to the dentist since I was a kid, and was extremely nervous. Dr. Cheim gave me a thorough (and much needed!) exam and cleaning. She explained everything and answered all of my questions so I understood exactly what condition my teeth are in, and what work will be needed. She made sure I was ok and comfortable during my cleaning as my teeth are very sensitive. My teeth look and feel great! I’m very happy with my experience, and relieved to be getting the treatment my teeth need.

Came to the new dental office since I was in need of a cleaning. My expectations weren’t high as I had some bad experiences in the past. Not only was the dental services provided exceptional, Dr. Chiem went above and beyond in educating me about oral hygiene. The doctor provided clear and precise instruction on proper home dental care as well as the importance of getting regular checkups at least twice a year even though I may not be experiencing any dental pain. Im from out of town, I was visiting some friends and one of my fillings came out during my trip, The tooth was really sensitive and I wanted to get in and get it fixed so I can enjoy the rest of my trip. Not only was Coronado dental able to get me in instantly to take a look, they also were able to do the filling right then and got me out of pain for the rest of my trip. Dr. Chiem was so friendly and gentle. The whole staff was amazing. I wished they were my normal dentist because I would totally keep coming back! Very impressed , my grandson is 2 yo. The staff was impressive of letting my daughter complete his registration online and with the reminders! The visit was not intimidating to baby, monsters Inc was playing in waiting area. Staff and Dr guided us how to holds baby while he watches a video ,so she could examine and apply sealants. Baby was offered a prize and picked his stopped his crying as two year olds are learning . Said our goodbyes ,all done , recurved his cavity free certificate and next appt and we're on our way! Coronado Family Dental got me in next day. I had Dr. Noah Ng, I was super nervous, especially with the bad experience I had at another dental office, Dr. Noah explained everything to me and was super patient with me, I walked out of their office with new appt. not feeling rushed like other dentists have made me feel before and I feel so much more confident about the work I need to get done. I walked with calmed nerves and for once I'm actually looking forward to getting my dental problems taken care of. See you next Wednesday Dr. Noah. =)

I was greeted by a stark office and paucity of human warmth. Not a particularly happy workplace, or maybe just a bad day. When I made an effort to be friendly staff responded well enough. Exam was OK, cleaning not very thorough. Tooth filling was expensive but done efficiently and well. The "treatment plan review" was a money-focused pitch for their membership program. The website is misleading, implying a personal experience that could not have been more false. Not the worst production-line dentistry, but I'll be trying someplace else.

Great experience with Dr. Chiem! My teeth are pretty sensitive so I was worried about my cleaning, but she was gentle yet very thorough. Checked in with me throughout to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable. Hand sanitizers, face masks, and even face shields worn by the staff so I felt very safe. The fact that each chair is in its own office is a plus. Definitely one of the best experiences I've had at the dentist and will now be a regular.

I thought The staff was very polite and I really didn't agree with the explanation from the Dr for billing process for cleaning since I have two insurances It would help if the staff had checked with my insurances !! But they didn't they drop the ball and I have use them for a while with my previous dentist who I have been with for over 10 years I am scheduled with them in April. We'll see what the billing indicates

I am extremely grateful that Coronado Family Dental provided a very welcoming and pleasant experience. I walked into the location without appointment. I was interested in a tooth repair. It was done very professionally and without delay. X-rays were taken, along with a full examination and all teeth were cleaned. The staff are warm, friendly and professional. The office is new and state-of-the-art. I went in with a broken tooth and was hoping to find out what could be done about it but was pleasantly surprised that they were able to not only accomplish that but fix the tooth and even clean my teeth! I consider myself feminist and didn’t even count on having a team of women taking care of my teeth. I will from now on.

Wonderful experience (for going to the dentist!). The staff is very welcoming and the dental office is very modern. I felt very safe with all the COVID protocols and the clean office. Dr. Chiem was very caring, and kept checking whether I was in pain during my cleaning (I had a lot of coffee stains in hard-to-reach teeth that were extra sensitive). The visit was pleasant enough. The staff, very kind and helpful. When came time for the dental exam, it could have been more thorough. The dentist was professional, but my x-rays were not discussed. Not one bit. So as i sit here, I'm still wondering why that was the case and if there is any underlining problem With my teeth ? I should not have to tell the dentist or any professional how to do there work.

Very professional from initial call to completion of appointment. I highly recommend Coronado Dental for any dental work at all. I was scheduled at a certain time and they were ready for me at that time. It is a very well run office with very friendly staff. I’m not fond of dental visits but this one was as nice as it gets. I had back to back appointments there today for my 3yo boy and 18 month old baby girl. When we came in my baby was sleeping in my arms so the wonderful receptionist filled out my paperwork on the tablet for me! I have never been so grateful! The best dentistry in town . I love how clean and modern the building is and how friendly and efficient the staff is. Coronado uses innovative technology.. i’ve always had issues with my mouth being jarred open, and this is not the case here, very gentle, cleaning, and painless. This is my second year, and I drove two hours out of the way to come see them.

It would be nice to have the ability to get some anxiety medicine before going in and this the very first dentist I've ever been to in my entire 46 years that don't offer comfort for there patients. Very strange because everyone in my family has this same issue and have always been compensated if needed Other than that very nice people and dentist.

I had to change dentists and chose Coronado because it was conveniently located for me. It was GREAT! I loved the online portals for updating my records! The waiting room was clean and inviting! The individual rooms were clean and modern and comfortable. Dr. Chiem and her staff were fantastic. I have absolutely no anxiety about my next appointment.

Dr Chiem is an excellent dentist, the same as her front desk employees. I went in on an emergency appt for an infected tooth extraction. Billing - Cost was thoroughly explained before any procedure was done. Dr Chein is very personable, and gentle. I chose her office due to the 5 Star reviews and recommend this office, you will not be disappointed.

It was affordable and easy to get an appointment. Staff are polite and bilingual. The dentist themselves clean your teeth with a water tool not standard metal scraping pics. So if you dont like scraping and potential bleeding this might be the place for you. If your teeth are very sensitive to cold, it might be uncomfortable. + New, clean office.

Dr. Chiem and her staff are very nice and professional. They send you reminders and forms before your visit. They have the price and insurance stuff ready before your visit and explain everything to you. Walked in and got cleaning done. Minimum waiting. The clinic and equipment are new. I have cracked my tooth on 2 separate occasions. Coronado Family Dental, on both occasions, were able to see me on the same day I called for an appointment. All the staff are kind, competent, knowledgeable and considerate of specific needs. Each time I have been seen, the appointment was not rushed and I felt seen and heard as a patient.

I was told by Dr. Chien that the only option I had was to remove all of my lower front teeth and wait 3 months for a removable replacement. As an adjunct professor, this would be a career ender. Thank the gods, I went for a second opinion at Riverpoint. My situation is still bad, but at least these dentists are actually listening to me.

Wow, this office checks all of the boxes! From the moment I walked in I felt at ease, the waiting room was very clean and the front desk team were accommodating AND professional. I was taken back for my cleaning and x rays on time and the doctor was very nice and reassuring. All in all my experience was fantastic!

Dr. Chiem was my dentist for a few years, and now she has her own practice! She is so gentle, gives the best cleanings, and is great at explaining what areas I needed to focus on when brushing/flossing. She is also super friendly and so nice. three hours is to long to receive treatment. I realize Dr. Royalbol is the only retina dr. in the state. The schedulers should consider doing a better job of scheduling.
