Everything started out great but didnt stay that way.... when we went to property to talk about renting a space for our fifth wheel on November 28th we explained we were in Albuquerque for a job (construction) we had no clue how long we would be on current site and needed to rent month to month. We were told that it was fine. We stated that we would be moving in on Sunday, December 2nd. We had to travel home over the weekend to get our fifth wheel and would be moving on site on that Sunday. On December 28th we were back home for Christmas vacation and received a call from office saying we were suppose to have moved out earlier that day... hubby once again explained what we had said the day we first talked with them and we were now being told we can not do month to month but needed to sign a lease. Management called back later that day and said corporate office had called her back and it was now fine to rent month to month but we now needed to pay a deposit and owed a $400 electric bill for the month of November. Hubby asked why was rent due now when we didnt move in space until December 2nd, the papers we signed stated move in on December 2nd. They said we signed on 28th of Novenber so they are going off that date.... so we paid the rent, the deposit and the $400 electric bill. Yesterday hubby went to office to pay rent and again they said we were scheduled to move out. He again explained what we were told the following month and they called him a liar. He got upset and was rude with them. He said fine give me the application for a lease and filled it out. They said we would have to pay 2 days rent while waiting on app approval, a $75 app fee, this month our electric bill was only $50 but that they forgot and didnt charge us water and sewer for the previous month so we paid that. This morning (Sunday) management called at 9:30am and said we needed to be off the property by 11am because of being rude to office staff the morning before over charges and lease. Well hello yes he was rude your policies and charges seem to change every 30 days.... hubby told manager he wants the rent for Sunday- Monday back along with the app fee that was paid the day before and our deposit. She agreed it would be refunded but refused to put it back on bank card. She stated we would receive a check in the mail... what a joke!
A good friend of mine stayed here from the end of last year to the beginning of this year. On many occasions I stayed at his place. In the time he stayed there, one of their "homes" burned down and there was a SWAT situation at about 4 am on a Monday morning. No one seems to clean up after their dogs in the park even though there is a trash can provided. Hope you LOVE speed bumps because this is the place for you! Lots of cats running wild. More important, when my friend's "lease" was up and he was ready to move, he was treated terribly. After working in property management I've never heard of a property manager thinking they didn't have to send an eviction notice certified mail (it's the law and you can check yourself), but they think that is fine. They also used a third party company to fraudulently remove funds from his bank account that they thought were owed to them days BEFORE being scheduled to appear in court. So they won't wait for a judge, even though they'll go through the process to get one involved, they'll take your money and still expect to see you in court. That after he tried to explain to them when his pay day was coming in reference to when he was leaving. No room for prorated rent, either. ONE MORE THING - they're going to make it sound like they're very picky about what your RV looks before you park it, in their ghetto. Vehicles without tires parked in people's yards... Stay if you must BUT NOT WORTH the potential headache.
I agree you can do better then here. They outright refuse to accept service dogs because they have a policy of one dog per home, and argued that they weren't denying a service animal. But they are! I am a military vet that has a service dog, and happen to have an autistic son that has had his service dog for 10 years; so with that information alone they put right said they couldn't accept them. One of them is only 4lbs too and fits in my hand. That Is refusing a service animal no matter how they want to work around it which is ridiculous. They didnt even bother inquiring on more details to at least consider if it would work. Just shut down the whole thing immediately because that's there "policy." Well, I can't imagine that even being legal. When it come to a service animal, if anything, it should be one pet per person that needs it. They're basically limited people who have a medical need for a service animal from living with another that needs one. In my case, hes my son so I dont have a choice. They shouldn't be able to dictate who you can live in a home with. What if a husband and wife were both blind and need the dog to get around? Seriously, a policy with zero tolerance of any exceptions just shows true colors of how they are!!
EDIT. I've read the other reviews and haven't seen any of the things posted. But a few mention not paying on time, so...that's that. All homes are kept to at least a minimum standard and I haven't seen the police at all. Neighbors are friendly, and it's been quiet after dark. RV review- Mobile home/RV gated community with a locked gate at 9pm. If you need to stay in Albuquerque for a length of time you could do worse. Easy access off of I-25, within a mile of the Balloon Fiesta Park. Daily, Weekly and Monthly rentals for RVs, monthly rentals are required to sign lease with 30 day vacate clause. Extremely spacious full hookup RV sites, gravel with fencing around most on three sides, trash pick up at curb. Off street parking, lots of speed bumps in park. RV members lounge with nice private shower/restrooms. Laundry room next door to RV lounge. Community room with computers and large TV viewing area, exercise area, adult only spa, and seasonal pool. Activities scheduled every evening except Mondays (with monthly calendar provided) by activity director. WIFI only at community room. No cable provided by park, over the air channels aren't great but numerous. No pet run but large grass park in community. Propane available across highway.
Welcome to Albuquerque, land of the scammers and thieves. Coronado has contracted with Direct Parking Services LLC, a very shady company that is falsifying dates on tow warning stickers so they can extort money out of you. They'll call to have your car towed at 3am over registration without warning or communication and the towing company almost dragged my AWD vehicle and ruined the drive train. Skunks everywhere. Maintenance uses propane torches to clear weeds near mobile homes without fire extinguishers on hand. This place and its management will go out of their way to make your life miserable regardless if you pay rent on time for 15 years. They raise rent $10-15 every 3 months since covid while doing nothing for the community. Coronado management is pushing out mobile home owners to make more spots for RVs. Overall, extremely shady and greedy business tactics.

This is advertised as a gated community but the gate is always broken. Watch out for shady tow trucks and the "security" patrolling. They are not good people.
If you’re heading to Albuquerque which I highly recommend Coronado village is the place to stay with an RV, they also rent out homes but I’m not sure if they do that for short stays. The management, office staff and maintenance guys here are all fantastic at their jobs and very friendly and I found always had time for you, any problems they took care of straight away. We stayed here for June and July the last 2 years and both time we had amazing experiences here and both times it was sad to leave this place. There are also people who own there own homes here and whether they own of are staying here short term like we did there is such a great community sport in this place. There is a club house witch holds a lot of community events, also on regular days it has a pool table, dart board, gym and wide screen tv. There’s a great swimming pool and also a jacuzzi, A big field where me and the kids played soccer and a fun playground Also a laundry room and if you’re staying in the rv spaces very nice shower rooms available.
AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Geraldine Martin is very rude, showed me one house then when I signed the lease I was given another one and was told that that house had already been rented out when my paperwork reflected a different lot number than I received. When I asked she lied to me about showing me the first house as if she never showed it to me at all. I had a car towed under managements assumption that the registration was expired durring the last month is was valid. Thankfully I won that fight but the attitude from Geraldine Martin was not appreciated. Also The stairs going up to my home broke and they would not fix it. They said it was my fault. Charged me. And never fixed it. In addition to that the home had many leaks I kept calling to have fixed and they were never fixed. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! They lie and are very rude.
We took a chance on staying here based on previous users feedback. I'm here to share with you to save your money. We arrived at the park for our month stay and found it to be about as described and based on the location expected it to have some road noise from the highway. What we didn't expect was to come back to 4 officers with their guns pulled and surrounding a house 4 spots down from us. That was unnerving and caused us to make an immediate change of location/plans. When we went to the office to advise them we were leaving early they refused to offer any form of refund on our $475. I'm all about paying for what I used, but when you don't even budge on the fact that you're community is unsafe that's where we draw the line. Take your lesson from our expense and stay ANYWHERE else but here!
This is primarily a Mobile Home Park with RV sites scattered throughout. Our experience is as full-time RVer's (I read a few other reviews and there IS a playground AND there are back-in sites). The RV sites are very roomy...largest we've ever experienced, the office staff has been professional and helpful, and there is a very large grassy area that's great if you have pets. The bath house is very clean and welll-equipped. Nice neighbors and the speed bumps are definitely on the larger side but there are many children living in the neighborhood so if you take your time, not a big deal. We will definitely be back when we visit family again in Albuquerque.
Avoid if possible. Management named Geraldine is very rude and stuck up. They have breed restrictions in place and they are not pet friendly. Don't be fooled by fake smiles. Maintenance requests take forever to be filled. Very noisy area due to the interstate being so close by. You will hear all manners of loud roaring vehicles. If you live near the office, you will hear them loudly mowing and blowing around grass early in the morning. There is only one entrance and exit that can create backed up traffic during balloon fiesta or 4th of July. Area has sketchy residents so make sure everything is locked up or put away because things will walk off.
It's not the park that is bad, it's the management. No matter what the reason, if you can't check in by 4:30 pm, you lose your deposit and your reservation and no refund. This has just been added to the website. I was told by Geraldine Martin office manager it was in my confirmation email, which I did not receive. I asked if she was sure she sent it and she said she did. Stray cats running around. Management asks "Please remember to keep site free and clear if debris (including weeds and pet waste) during your stay". Memorial Day 2021, office, laundry, showers and pool closed without notice, no one responded to texts or phone calls.
I am so glad my so glad we found this place. My wife is working out of town and we were looking for a safe place to stay. They are clean and have a gate that closes at night. The day staff is sometimes not the friendliest but professional. The night staff is always helpful and friendly. They have some great sites and some more open sites. Depending on what you want or need. You can also get a large propane hook up so you do not have to keep swapping out your 35s. Laundry room and shower are well maintained as well as the grounds. Nice place and location if you need a place to stay short or long term. Pretty centrally located.
We had a fantastic experience here. We had a front row seat for the balloon festival. They took care of his fantastic. Friendly people including the Leilani attendant who kept calling to find out if we were there yet.. Just kidding Leilani you're all right. I recommend this place great facilities clean thank you for a great stay.

I can not say enough good about our experience at this RV Park. So much to do in this area and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all these events and where to go. The park is very clean and the activities for adult and child are well organized. We were fortunate to be there this year 2015 for the balloon Fiesta and the best part of it all it was in walking distance. We could actually see the balloons from our site as well. The rent is reasonable to any we have stayed at and will definitely stay again if we are in that area.
As others as stated, this mobile home park is not a friendly place for RVers. In my interactions with the manager, she comes across as rude, arrogant, and lacking common social skills. My guess is that she is not an RVer; therefore, she doesn't understand that RVers are friendly and somewhat close-knit. The park itself is clean and well-organized. The location is convenient. All things considered, the rate is way too high. Especially, when you factor in the unfriendly manager. My suggestion is to keep moving down the road.
I have two issues with this park - the WiFi and the bathrooms. They say they have WiFi but what the don’t tell you is that their internet access is only available in the community area. This was a negative for me because it meant not being able to access internet from the comfort of our trailer. The bathrooms were not very clean or well maintained. One room may have soap and no paper towels or vice-versa. One room the outlet for hair dryer never worked. I reported these issues twice. No real response.
Real residential neighbourhood feel, nice internal park and fancy lounge area. Staff were friendly and cheerful, but they stop doing RV check-ins at 4:30pm and they have to be there before you can leave in the morning. Maintenance guy couldn’t located our sewer input on the site. Water pressure is VERY high and the “plumbing key” was difficult to use properly. Access is via the I35 service road, which we missed the first time.

Worse stay ever! The speed bumps are horrible, especially for a 35 ft Motorhome towing. No back in sites, no cable connection. The maintenance guy had to attach an apparatus to the water box, no faucet. The showers/laundry are locked at 5:00. The price was high even with our Good Sam discount. This is a mobile home community and should not be considered an RV Resort. We chose it because it was just off our travel route. We appreciate the good customer service.
I feel this is very nice and safe place to live. I have a meet a lot of great people who live here. I also like the new management staff they have, they are friendly and helpful. I love the fact kids are outside playing, people walk their dogs all the time. I have seen the police in the park 2 times max. The RV sites have extra space and there are nice trees for shade. I would till my friends and family this is a awesome place to stay.
We have lived here for 2 years and 3 months. It is gated with security patrol. It's quiet considering its location. Being in town, it is close to all of our doctors. Any type of restaurant you are interested in can be found in town. There is a beautiful outdoor pool open in the summer. We enjoy all of our neighbors. Management is pleasant and helpful. There are always activities for adults and children. It's a very nice community.
This place is over run with skunks! I have been here over 3 years and we have problems every year! We voice our concerns but are told nothing can be done because it’s wildlife! We as tenants have taken every step possible to help keep these animals away but they keep coming back. They dig under the skirting or tear it apart and get under our home and spray! Beyond Disgusting! Don’t move here unless you like the smell of skunk!
Do not believe them when they tell you your rent will be prorated and you can move out any day of the month with the remaining days refunded! Stayed in a RV space for several months and moved out mid month. When we asked when we would get our money back for the remaining days they said they DO NOT prorate and we are out of luck. It was a costly mistake on our part not to get it in writing and taking their word for it.
You get what you pay for.... sometimes not even that. After paying for 6 days in advance and told if we left early a credit would be given a credit, the manager called me to tell me they would not be doing that. So, I lost $33 dollars, big deal. More importantly, this place is a dump. Only stay if you had no other choice. Most of the lots are occupied with subpar mobile homes. Not a place I would recommend.
Its a nice looking place, but from what iv heard it is a bit pricy. The apartments are decent, but I personally do not enjoy having giant sliding glass doors, it makes it easy for someone to see if you have anything of value and makes it to easy for them to break in if they see something they like. Also the person I known that lives there has waited for a couple months to have their washer and dryer fixed
It all looks great until you drive s motorhome across all those huge speed bumps. Just in my Jeep those speed bumps rattle your teeth. The staff get real dickish when you try to put in notice. Even after agreeing to pay for more time than I was obligated to pay, they started court paperwork for eviction when I told them I'd be late and had to wait till my next paycheck. Real douche bag move.
Worst place to stay. They say our 8 week old puppy a yellow lab is to big to stay there. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. Not only have they taken over $300 from us once because our transfer was delayed we had to give them a second deposit they now say no. do not stay at this place they discriminate and are condescending, rude, and I feel I have been discriminated against.
It was ok,however we are on vacation when we called and told them that we got caught in traffic and might be a little late, that was when they told me if we were not there at 4:30 we would loose our deposit, because they were not GOING TO WAIT...to me that was just about the most STUPID RULE I've ever heard,I guarantee everyone that we will never stay there again!!
I call to ask for availability and they tell me there is plenty availability..... then I show up in person get strong armed by the manager and then told they don't have anything until December..... Either nobody knows what the h***'s going on or they just don't care to actually help people. Either way the attitude from the office ladies was not appreciated
We stumbled across this place coming to Albuquerque to visit family for 6 weeks. The office manager was extremely nice and helpful and the RV site we stayed in was extremely spacious and secure. We will definitely stay here every time we visit our family. Thanks again to the office manager for being so very helpful and kind. …
Not understanding at all for campers coming through for 1 -2 nights. Their 24 hour notice for cancellation is 8 am of the previous day to 8 am of the day you would arrive. We called at 2:45 pm the day before they would close for check-in at 4:30 pm and they would not refund our $34 deposit. Won't be trying them again.
$525 for the month. Older park with lots of older Mobile homes. We've been here a few days and it is nice and quiet. Not really any complaints, just not what I expected I guess. But it's okay. Lots to do in Albuquerque. It's out by the hot air balloon Park. Okay to visit but wouldn't want to live here.
Great place, very clean and close to everything. Large RV sites with nice new hook ups. Very nice clubhouse with workout equipment and large pool. Management and personnel were very eager to help. We are staying here for 1 week and the location is perfect for visiting both Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
I have a service animal and one other dog was told I cant bring them both even though a service animal is not a pet it's a working animal. Manager asked why I even filled out a application cuz she would not allow my service animal. I would not recommend anyone even consider this place.
They have the worse manager. The Geraldine is the worse she couldn’t wait ten minutes for my RV to arrive. She didn’t even have the common courtesy to have us come inside to sign our contract. I paid her deposit and now she says I will not get it until 30 days.
We have stayed here in our 40ft 5th wheel from May--September for the last 2 years . What an excellent place. The manager and staff is awesome and always go out if their way ro assist. It's gated and very secure. We'll definitely be back in 2023
Went to lease a spot and while I was out looking at it the leased it out. I've been in sales my whole life once you exchange money it's supposed to be a deal. Not with these people. Then told me there was nothing left and to kick rocks.
Won't honor the rates on their website with a paid reservation. "Oh, there was a system glitch. Price should've been three times higher." Good news for me is there are lots of better RV parks in Albuquerque. Great customer service.
I wasn't actually in Colorado village. I was in Southern North estates which is just west of Coronado village but it's beginning to be a better community now than all the old people are getting out of being in charge haha
My husband and I stayed in this Coronado village in our Rv while on business in New Mexico. It’s a nice place with nice neighbors and great views.

Bred Restriction for my dog after I had already been here 6 months. Had to send my pet to a friends while we search for a new place to live that will accept all of our pets. We also have cats but they are ok with them
Unhappy with the way they lease lots. Filled out there paper gave them my credit card info went to look at lot they leased it over phone. 2 stars because is a nice property not happy about the office professionalism
Owner and management were unfit for there duties was constantly harassed by neighbor s, and management did nothing to stop them. Have a friend who still lives there and is now being harassed by the same people
After talking with a couple people there about the place and how things work there including the lack of management skills on how they treat residents.. Its definatly not the place for me and my daughter...
All they do is cry about stuff in your back yard and they cry about being under age swimming like what pool don’t let you swim if your under agedon’t come here unless your trying to get harassed …

I was so unhappy. It's a trailer park. Next to freeway. They didn't tell us we're the showers and restroom were and to wifi. Everything closes at 8pm. It was clean but totally not for relaxation
Spent more then 2 months here for work in area and highly recommend. Clean quiet well maintained nice amenities gate locked with pin access in evenings and nice mix of RV and mobile homes.
A very nice looking community, especially as mobile home developments go. Thinking about living there, and my visit gave me s good impression, including of management and residents I met.
Be wary RVS over 10 years old have to be approved by "management". We got denied for a 2000 in great condition. We drove their community and saw RVs in similar age and condition.
My boyfriend lives there and it's a nice place. Has a pool and a park for the kids. And for it being so close to the I-25 it's pretty quiet.

I walk my dog all the time in the morning at nights. I’ve seen multiple skunks around the park during those times. It’s horrible but other than that it’s a good park.

This place sucks. Their front gate doesn't even close at night like they've told me it would. Id rather stay in walmart parking lot with no a/c.
Mostly permanent modular homes, RV spots are sprinkled in. Pretty level spots, all rock, with concrete sitting area & picnic table. Site 134.
Nice and quiet, some of the older trailers could use some fixing up but the management at this time is trying to improve the property.
Managers are very mean and not trying to help any of the old tenants plus raise the rent so high its almost pointless to rent there
Was a little dirty and has a pool but no playground for the little kids to go to. Would liked to have seen a playground for sure
Jesus where do I begin? Worse mobiles in Albuquerque management is on some sort of power trip. Spend your money somewhere else.
Two nice spots in the front of the park but you will get NO SLEEP from the freeway and frontage noise. The noise is 24/7.
Nice place and maintained for many years.

it a great place you could totally live there and yes skunks do come but you tell the office or call an extermanitor
They only except RVs 10 years old or newer. So I guess a classic airstream is too ghetto for their “resort” park.
My sister parked her RV there while visiting Albuquerque. The sight was good size with a lovely shade tree.
Not great not bad. Just your average mobile home park. All the pluses are cancelled out with the minuses.
From a visiting RVer point of view this park is very nice. It’s clean and well maintained, and quiet.
this place is a safe place to live. I like how it's quiet and it's not open to the public after 9pm
Great place. To live. I have a Good size lot fenced for my dog Freddy. Great people in the office.
Worst manager ever running this place she is rude, prejudice, and wont even let you speak at all!
Great staff, super friendly, easy check in, super helpful. Pool, hot tub, great amenities.
Great place and great employes, madeline(manager) were awesome and alfredo was great too
Strict about toys being visible in your yard and weeds. It has very big speed bumps.
Great for short or long stays. Short drive to just about anywhere in Albuquerque.
Shared spaces are well manicured and taken care of. RV spaces are spacious.
Awesome place would like to get a monthly rental here thanks 8 9 2022 jk
The pool is a great extra. They have a lot of fun family nights
Quiet and calm. A good neighborhood for sure. Great facilities
Fantastic area for your rv with big lots and a community feel
