HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I had my vehicle here and was supposed to have it taken to another shop in Toronto the following day. For some reason a freighter truck had stopped into Cosme to pick up a Black BMW to take to Montreal, so without checking VIN Numbers or Plate numbers they decided to hand over my car to this random company and didn't even take down their information. I had a missed call from Cosme as they were looking for authorization, and because I didn't make it to my phone on time, they decided to call my father, who is not on title to get approval. (I'm an adult and don't live with my family, or communicate every single plan with them) By the time I had called Cosme back, they had already sent the freighter on its way. Their reasoning was because they had called my father who had no idea of what was going on to authorized it when I didn't make it to my phone on time. They didn't have the freighter information who took my car either, so they advised that I report it as stolen at the police station. I spent 2 days off work in Kingston looking for my car, calling all tow and freighter companies, police and dealerships. After finding the car had been sent to Montreal, (Because the truck driver realized Cosme gave them the wrong car) they had it brought back to Kingston, then sent to Toronto where I had actually authorized it to be sent. Once I was finally sent to the right place, I saw that damage had been incurred in the process which now Cosme Auto is taking ZERO responsibility for and told me that if i'm not happy with it, I should be taking legal action. It has honestly been the worst experience with an Auto Shop and the lack of professionalism URGES me to advise that nobody should ever use their services. If this is how they treat their customers and conduct business after their mistakes have cost me $1000's, they don't deserve business.

My in-laws have been going here for a lot of years and always spoke very highly of the business so my wife and I also use their services. Something that stands out as soon as you walk into the building is how clean it is. It's pretty evident the owner cares about cleanliness and organization and you can see that in the customer area and the shop. In terms of service and work done on the vehicle, it's excellent. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and whatever issue your vehicle has, when you bring it in they'll assess it and then call you with some options and approximate prices before going ahead and doing any work. Seems pretty standard, but I've taken a previous car to other places and they just went ahead and did work - and additional work - without confirming.

HONEST, HONEST, HONEST… that’s what I have to say about Cosme auto. I am so blessed to have come into contact with these people. My family and I have been using this garage for over 30 years now, and they have helped us through everything from minor tire changes, to major vehicle damages. Flo and his team are extremely knowledgeable & truly a pleasure to deal with. Words cannot explain how wonderful it is knowing that as a woman (who is not mechanically inclined), I am able to go into their garage, get my car assessed/ fixed, and know that I will NEVER be taken advantage of… EVER! I don’t know what I would do without Flo or his team, these people are worth their weight (and more) in gold!

A huge THANK YOU to the staff at Cosme Auto Service . I came into their shop this morning with a tire emergency and was provided with excellent customer service . I’m from out of town and was taking my brother to the hospital . The staff looked after me right away , offered me coffee … use of very clean facilities. They took care of my situation in a very professional manner and ensured that I was safe on the road to return home . Very caring of my safety . I really appreciate all of their help . Thankyou so much .

My husband brought our car to Cosme Auto Service when we needed a minor repair. They were able to provide us with same day service and were extremely helpful and honest. Since we have a mechanic elsewhere they were understanding and didn’t pressure us to proceed with anything but the minor repair. They also informed us we should get an oil change for our own safety when we could. We will definitely go back here for their great service and expertise!

I went in there the one day with a friend of mine and and the owner I’m guessing it was, was so rude and misogynistic towards his female employees and belittling and humiliating them in front of customers, that We decided to turn around and go elsewhere... there are other car garages in the city who actually treats their employees with the decency and respect that they deserve... this place was just horrible.

After a disappointing visit to an authorized GM dealer with my 2018 Volt, I found Cosme Auto. Their team stands out for its thoroughness; they even consulted my car's service manual to ensure accuracy in their repairs. They fixed my car flawlessly and always offered timely service at fair prices. If you want reliable and honest car service, I'd definitely recommend Cosme Auto!

We were visiting friends in Kingston and on our way to the US when our van broke down. They referred us to Cosme. They were super nice, accepted to take our van even on the long weekend, and did all they could to get it fixed by 9 am the next business day for us, so we could return to Montreal. We are very satisfied with their services!! An amazing recommendation!

Worst service ive ever encountered. Was literally screamed at and called various derogatory names by the owner for simply asking for an explaination about a ridiculous high charge which was not estimated at all beforehand. He must of been off his meds or having a real rough day bc Ive never seen anyone treat a customer like that in my 32 years so far.

I would give the staff here more stars if I could. They are very busy which is a very good indication of the quality of service you will receive from a professional garage. Well worth the time to see this garage for your vehicle needs. …

I couldn't agree more with a previous comment: "Lead mechanic/owner is very knowledgeable and fair." Efficiency and integrity would be hard to beat. Have referred many, many people and all have exclaimed how they have never been treated better.

I'll just assume they don't understand how to buy parts for German cars. 1100 for the parts alone for a timing belt water pump kit? That's alright, I'll give some other mechanic my money, and call in a favour to cost you twice that. …

Very friendly service. Repairs were explained before the work was done. Recommeded significant repairs have an estimate. Work is completed on time. They show you the defective/replaced parts. Have been going to this garage for 35+ yrs.

The staff here is great! Most importantly they are honest and treat you fairly. They explain what the issue is so you can understand and they stand behind their work. Hard to find in todays world.
