This location lacks basic management. Since the new location opened employees have become lax and arrogant. + they basically let anyone become a supervisor at this point. Before the new location opened I used to frequent this place for 10 years and now since this year I already had 5 accident with different management from front door, ticket checkers, cashier, and supervisor. For the entry i had a backpack on since I had come back from school and didn’t want to leave my stuff in my car since I had my laptop. I come to the door and the women doing the card checks just let its slips to me that she will be looking through my bag when I come out. Now there where others with backpacks and this wasn’t my first time going with a backpack I was never searched but now just telling the only young black men with a backpack oh I will check you personally when you come out? She didn’t go trough with the search but she was staring at me while I was at the checkout. I won’t go into details much with the rest since it will be too long. But I had 2 supervisor another day take my cart. My receipt and bring me to the little desk beside the tire place to make me pay up the money there but I had transféréd my funds into another card and had no banks card with me and since that card wasn’t on my name well I couldn't pay. I get the policy but they were literally treating me like I was robbing the place they triple checked my money and my receipt to see if I actually paid.? I only had cash for 3 items I just went to the other Costco and explained my situation that person was more genuine and understood my problem. All in all letting this place run with foul attitude people will only ruin Costco image at this point for members. Like why would a person buy a membership go to Costco just to get treated worst than Walmart or any other place that dosent make you pay to shop. I at least want to be treated like a human and not a robber.

This "Costco Business Centre" is a very different shopping experience indeed. Although the layout resembles a 'regular' Costco warehouse, the shopping experience is just not up to par. On today's visit, I selected 5 mega-sized items based on the displayed pricing above these products. On cash check out, only one item was charged at the display price!! Of the remaining 4 items, 3 were priced at ~30% more & 1 item was priced at ~10% less. The cashier was very nice & suggested the matter be brought to the attention of the store manager. A discussion with the store manager was not a pleasant experience. Apparently it is better to display incorrect pricing over products than no pricing at all - as the area manager will not be 'happy'. PLEASE BE WARNED that in this store you must read the pricing sign ATTENTIVELY before selecting a product as the price displayed may not be for the product you wish to purchase. Finally, before you leave the store, check your receipts!

I put five stars because of the great customer service. Usually I go to Costco Mervale and I had a problem with my account and I stopped there more than thirty times to fix the account problem and they tell me that the problems in my account have been fixed so that I come back the next time and I face the same problem. My card is locked and someone changes my residential address and the cashback goes For another person, for two years, I met here with a customer service employee named Salwa, and I explained my story to her, and she was very interested. She helped me solve the account problem and got my money back. Thank you, Salwa. You are a wonderful employee. I hope everyone works with this enthusiasm and smile.

My wife and I shopped and used the pharmacy until 3 years ago. I shopped often alone as well coming from work, it was close, and one day I upgraded to VIP. No issues whatsoever. A year later, I went to downgrade back to the basic and was told I could not unless my wife was with me. They advised me she was on the account as primary holder. I told them I upgraded no issues, but they said, no matter. I asked for a manager, was told same. Told them I would cancel our account and never return, they said, its our policy, period. Stayed true to our word, and they still send offers to rejoin. NEVER will rejoin with one way policies like THAT in place. Corporate greed at its best if you can upgrade but not downgrade.

Terrible experience I've been double charged for my membership and your staff is trying to charge me again before I get my groceries, absolutely ridiculous, there is an error in your system and staff has no interest in resolving it. Only in getting the next person served if you feel like being double charged for a yearly membership try costco If you like being treated rudly when it's their mistake try xostco Your manager tara has no customer service skills of any kind, and at no point did she try and resolve my issue. Just moved my stuff and tried to have the line go, no interest I trying to rectify the issure, just encouraged me to pay again. You should be contacting me immediately to solve this issue.

The real meaning of capitalisme, ruthless policy's the customers to them are just money and numbers, I want to purchase a fridge from theme but you can't pay for it and go get the transportation so I decided to get the transportation so I rent it a truck and trailer and went to get the fridge but guess what they don't have theme they a have a open box dented fridge that they want to sell for full price, I asked if possible the deliver one from the manufacturer or where ever they keep them for no charge as they didn't have theme in stocks when I went to pick up.but they refused.that what a call 0 customer service and this is just one of a lots.costco don't represent canadian people and never well.

There is no fresh food section (no hot chickens, prepared salads etc). Despite getting very busy, it is easy to get in and out quickly. Great for making a quick stop on your way home from work. I love buying the bacon in bulk here

Let me just say this. Ottawa residents don't know just how lucky they are that Costco decided to open a business center here. There are people who drive hours just to get to one and load up. In this age of mega inflation which looks like it will last a few years, Costco business center is one of few places that are holding the line. Individuals, families and businesses alike can buy from here rest assured of the best price and quality possible. I'm incredibly impressed and grateful for the massive selection of halal options too. The kitchen wares here are incomparable. Gigantic tubs of spices, massive bags of lentils, I could go on and on.

This business centre is a great place for people who are buying ingredients and commercial appliances for restaurants! Before stepping into the store, I was concerned that all quantity would be too much for a small family like mine but they do sell regular Costco-sized items so it's not an issue for us at all. This Costco also sells some kitchen gadgets and stationary that you don't find at a regular Costco. I fall in love with a purple cutting board but it is too big for my needs. oh well. Note: They don't sell clothes/shoes, TVs, electronics, and mattresses at this business centre.

Can't be happier... Well, maybe if isles were labeled, but that never happened at Costco. The prices and return policy are so good, that they can pretty much get away with anything and I'll still give them 5 stars. 0 service if you need help finding something... They pretty much want you to get lost, but if that means I'm paying $130 (35%) less for exactly the same UPS (uninterrupted power supply) than I would if I bought at Amazon\Canada Computers\Best Buy, than I'm still a VERY happy customer! I am a member for LIFE!

This app never gives the stock for local warehouse. The warehouses rarely answer the phone. If possible I would give -ve stars, but the least on Google is one star. This app is practically useless to me :( If the management and developers update the app soon with the feature - stock for the products in local warehouse (inventory), I will change the rating to 5 stars So, the ball is in your court to be considerate by helping customers plan and shop easily or cause inconvenience.

Great place and lots of diverse merchandise, equipment for businesses and foods. well priced and good quality. Easy to navigate the aisles and find the products. Great selection and you can find good quantities (boxes) at competitive prices - mind you some products are "commercial grade", so something to keep in mind. Additionally, you can find different items than Costco, such as boxes of poultry, seafood and vegetables. Lately however, we have seen prices jump by $2-$5 per item...

For some reason I'm obsessed with replacing every utensil and appliance in my kitchen with the commercial equivalent, and the Costco Business Centre is really helping that dream become a reality. Also very impressed with the selection of foldable tables and chairs, safety equipment, frozen prepared meats, snacks, raw ingredients, and in particular their unsliced deli meat selection. Thankfully they have a quality meat slicer on offer as well!

We came here accidentally to complete our registration for membership and I highly suggest everyone else make the same mistake. The customer service counter wasn't over crowded/rushed like some of the other Costco's and the lady that helped us was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. The store is accessible to all Costco members and offers some different things then the other locations so I recommend everyone take a visit.

I already loved Costco of course but the Business Center is something else! They have tons of stuff that you can't find in the regular Costcos. Some of it is insane quantities of course cuz it's meant for restaurants and such, but there are still plenty of options for families. I was particularly excited to find three different types of vegan cheese here! They also have all sorts of kitchen utensils and more. Worth checking out

Wow, it really is amazing inside. Tons of restaurant equipment like Viking stoves, smokers, huge bbq’s, stainless steel sinks, food slicers and storage. I was blown away by all the food and large sections of beef/steaks, tons of drinks/water and condiments for restaurants. I can see a lot that single families can buy as well. I am great full I live between a huge new Costco and now a Business Costco!

This is what all Costco's used to be. It seems like we've gone full circle with Costco, I thoroughly enjoy coming to the business centre because it has a wider variety of food, at the cost of having no other personal items like clothes, toys and books. It's great to come here because they have items that aren't available at regular Costco's. The staff is just as friendly and prices are great.

Store itself is lovely. Well stocked clean and bright. Unfortunately staff beyond rude. Unfortunately, it’s not just the cashiers that are rude, it’s widespread throughout the store, including the tire center. The employee was so rude to the young lady in front of me I felt I had no choice but to interject nobody should be paraded to the point of tears. Unacceptable.

This place is not for everyone. If you want to buy food in bulk (bigger bulk than regular Costco) like meats and in restaurant amounts, this place is great. We buy all our halal chicken here and store it in the freezer. It's quite far for us but once every 2-3 months makes it worthwhile. You can also get a lot of the regular Costco items here but not everything.

I was pleasantly surprised by the merchandise. I was expecting something completely different than well organized displays, varied stock, and well stocked shelves! The store is obviously restaurant/convenience store business oriented, but there are lots of items appropriate for family shopping, too. For a Saturday afternoon it wasn’t excessively crowded either.

You can find more quantities than a regular Costco in some things like meat, cheese and frozen items. Also more selection of bulk chocolate bars. No clothing or shoes which is fine, that occupies the centre of regular Costco stores. I went Saturday morning from 9-10AM and wasn't that busy. Definitely recommend the Business Centre over regular Costco warehouse.

Definitely geared towards the commercial market but with some interesting things that will draw in regular Costco customers. I went for a 5kg package of chicken (legs & thighs) for $8.99 and walked out with so much more. A good variety of Asian foods here and big quantities for those with freezers. I will make visiting at least a monthly occurrence.

I love this location especially during the pandemic because once people know “it is a business center” they tends to go to a proper wholesale for consumers. However, you can get 60-70% of items you would find in other locations, and I just like the fact that it is not as populated as others. One more thing, they don’t have a gas station.

There are many commercial machines, such as dough mixers, teppanyaki gas stoves, meat grinders, slicers and many other restaurant equipments, as well as many food and beverages that are out of stock in ordinary stores, especially some frozen meat and seafood. I’m not a business but LOVE to go to the business centre, it has great deals on seafood and meat, and some of the products that are not carried in regular Costco (ex. Sesame oil, SPAM). Make sure you check the hours though. Also good for returns and cellphone- same service as with any regular Costco but wayyyyyy les people

Meant for business rather than the individual but you can find some real nice gems here even if you don't own a business. Planning a huge cookout? Want to stock up your full size freezer? You come here. Prices are great. Staff is super competent, everything is stocked. Check-out is fast. Always a positive experience.

Wide open space. Bulk items are sold in batches or larger size quantities. My favorite: Ritz cookies 4 large bags for $12. Local grocers sells one bag close to $ 8 each. They carry stoves, restaurant equipment, and bulk items for small local grocery store or restaurants. Less crowded than regular costcos.

Lots of cool stuff... we should have come here for Halloween candy. Fantastic for kitchen supplies, office supplies, food, and other industrial supplies. Highly tempting wheels of cheese and boxes of bake-them-yourself cookies and cinnamon buns. It's worth checking out even if you're not a business owner.

Great first trip to the Gloucester Business Centre. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (unlike at other Costco locations....) and make an effort to engage and ensure you are doing ok while shopping. The extra mile service will be the reason I go back. Oh and all the great bulk purchase options!

Good for small businesses and large families. Stock large size items (i.e. 50 pound bags of potatoes), store size boxes of other items (i.e. chocolate bars, granola bars, etc.), restaurant supplies (cooking & baking equipment, etc). Easy to get in and out quickly. Staff are helpful and courteous.

Great selection of bulk items and kitchen and restaurant supplies. Friendly and helpful staff and would recommend as there are some items here that I cannot find at regular Costco locations. Great prices on meat as well. We buy ground beef here as the price is much better than grocery stores.

Not nearly as busy as regular Costco Has most of the things I buy in the size I need And then come the big items Real huge wheel of cheese Whole big Salamis.... If you have a bigger party perfect. And you do not need s different membership. Your regular membership works!

I normally shop at the regular Costco but the business centre has some other items not available at the regular warehouse! Although no consumer electronics. They have some bulk cooked meats and amazing value on kitchen gear. Best place to get carbon steel pans and woks!

The value you get compared to the price of the membership is worth every penny! Selection is incredible and always well stocked. Workers always ready to help if needed. Amazing staff at the customer service desk love saying hi to the lovely ladies at the desk.

I go here to get smoke meat because the regular Costco doesn't have it. Really nothing else interests me, but they do have cool commercial appliances and the other odd thing. Mostly go to window shop at Business Costco and as I said for the Dunns smoke meat.

I love shopping here. It's accessible with a normal Costco card, but has much more value in terms of the products! We love the boxed meats and large quantities of food!! The only thing I wish it had was a food court. No $1.50 hot dogs or pizza here.

Hi, I am the guy with the basketball hat! This costco is great if you are a small business and need lot of supplies. If you are a household, sometimes the goods can be too big and go to waste. This is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars.

Went Friday afternoon at 4pm...was pretty quiet, not like other stores, you can actually walk around comfortably. Better selection in a sense, compared to other stores however some produce items like packaged greens didn't look as fresh

Great store. Clean, well laid out. I would give them a 5 star rating if it wasn't for their store hours. They close at 6pm on week days. Hard for anyone who works a 9-5 to get out there before they close.

Today, 10/17/2023, I bought 3 large carton of yoghurt, and I was surprised that it had mold on it and was not edible. I have 3 children. If we had not paid attention to that, we would have been poisoned.

I have been there a lot of times now, and it made good progress and good service. They almost have everything, and you can order food(you need to pay for the foods you ordered), or try foods (for free.).

Visiting from BC, wish we had Costco Business Center there as well! Great place to shop for small businesses or larger families. Costco, please open a few bus8ness centers in Vancouver and BC as well!

This is a place where you can get upsized Costco items. They do have a decent selection of regular Costco items as well. Just don't expect to find clothing, electronics, furniture, and a food court.

They have so much fun stuff! very different than the regular costco stores. great place to go if you are hosting or throwing a party! no pet food, no pharmacy, no clothes. but allot more options!

Descent addition to the Costco scene in Ottawa. Cheese department is pretty impressive. Lots of " business and restaurant" specific items. Definitely worth the trip to check it out.

I feel like they favor those that buy halal meats alot of the time i see more halal than anything might just stop going if it continues ill take my buisness to wholesale

The place is ok, the hours are the problem. When I need some of the items I can only get there I have to race across the city after work to get there before they close.

It was a perfect experience today. Products sizes are awesome and variety of halal meat is the best. Cannot say the prices are great but still not too bad.

It’s never super busy and if you know what you are looking for it’s like Costco’s hidden gem. Great place to go if you’re hosting a party or a summer BBQ.
