"Costco offers great gas prices, but just make sure you don't go there when you're in a hurry"
"Almost always has the cheapest gas in the area"
"You come here when you want cheap, good gas (still has ethanol, mind you), and have the time to wait in an excruciating long line"
"Like all fuel ⛽️ stations that sell gas at a reduced price, there always lines, be patient and you'll get your tank filled"
"Cheapest gas prices in the Puget sound when I was there in May 2021"
Costco offers great gas prices, but just make sure you don't go there when you're in a hurry. You will find long lines there, so just expect it! Some people feel they need to go in the line that most conveniently serves the gas access side of their car, but the nozzle will stretch to the opposite side, so just get in any line that is shortest. Use the idle time that you're waiting in line to catch up on phone calls or emails. It's great. PS. I like how there is a signage system that shows which pump has been vacated.
Almost always has the cheapest gas in the area. Hard to beat the price on the car wash as well. Definitely a volume business and those cheap prices are regularly reflected in the very large number of people waiting to get gas. Lots of pumps and very good electronic signs help make the wait go quickly. They also seem to have the station staffed well, and those staff are regularly helping people, cleaning up, or validating that everything is running smoothly and it shows in the quality and efficiency of the station.
You come here when you want cheap, good gas (still has ethanol, mind you), and have the time to wait in an excruciating long line. Or you come at weird times of day. In general, gas is $0.50 cheaper than premium brands making getting a Costco membership worth it just for the gas alone. Pair that with a Costco gold membership and you're saving lots of money. This location is tricky to get in and out of because it's buried deep in the parking lot, so be careful getting here, especially on weekends.
Like all fuel ⛽️ stations that sell gas at a reduced price, there always lines, be patient and you'll get your tank filled. Another thing at the Costco on 4th, is thier car wash, best in Seattle, Does the whole job, exterior, the tires are cleaned and sprayed with protection, the underneath is also covered by mist & the blow drying @ the end. Then a lot of people will towel down thier vehicles, inside doors, missed areas that the blow fans miss. But again, be patient
Cheapest gas prices in the Puget sound when I was there in May 2021. You should be aware that at the SODO location when you are going through the payment process, it will ask you if you want to add a car wash before asking if you want a printed receipt. If you accidentally say yes to the car wash, you should be able to get a refund inside the store. Just my luck, the day I got my car washed, it ended up raining just enough that night to make the car all spotted.
Many gas station booths. There is always staff out here to help you out if needed. They are very friendly and helpful. They offer car wash as well for less than 10$. And as usual, Costco offers the cheapest gas prices. There are a couple of air dispensers for filling air in car tires for free, these are located in the front of the parking lot near the Costco wholesale entrance. I like coming here to get gas, fill air and get the car washed, all at one place!!
Wow! What an amazingly same as any other gas station gas station. This place has gas pumps! You can pump your own gas! All kidding aside I think that the Costco discounts on gas make it worth while for annual savings. Typically seems to be about .30 to .50 cents cheaper than other major brands. Over the year it adds up depending on how much you drive. Usually offsetting the membership fee five fold for the 12 month period. Worth a try.
Great prices and lines are not horrible if you go see the right time. They installed lighted gas pumps at each island on spot 1,2,3. If the lighted pump is green it means that pump is available and you drive to it. If you get in line and your gas tank is on the wrong side you'll have quite a stretch of the house to hook up. A lot of people don't know about this convenient and efficient way to use Costco pumps on 4th Avenue in Seattle.
Neither here nor there. Someone has yet to come up with a customer service experience for gas stations, I guess: you get in line, you get your turn, you park, you insert/slide your plastics, you pump, you pull out. It would be nice to include gas money in your totally membership tally, when it's time to reward you at the end of the year. Now, there's an idea!
Wonderful place to get gas great price and good quality fuel however the lines can get really crazy and also a lot of people seem to not really know how to use the pumps as efficiently as possible. Costco is one of the best companies to buy anything from so I will continue to do that including gasoline until we all switch to electric vehicles.
I have never seen a Costco gas station without an enormous line waiting to fill up. Typically has the best priced good quality gasoline, but you'll be waiting in your car for a bit. Also you need a Costco membership to access the pumps. Probably the best option for gas, as long as you're not running late for something.
Typically the cheapest gas around but good quality. There's almost always a line but it moves along pretty quickly because they have lots of pumps. The only thing to watch out for is for whatever reason despite things being automated the pumps are shut off after a certain time and you can't buy gas later at night
Conveniently located on the way to SeaTac, this is an ideal place to fill the rental car up before dropping it back off at the end of your trip. Take the southern most entrance away from the warehouse to avoid the shopper congestion in the parking lot; lines can get long but they move reasonably quickly.
I Had my debit card on me because I keep it on my phone case but I left my wallet at home and didn't have my id or membership on me and the man didn't wanna let me pump because I didn't have my id. I waited in that long line thinking I had my wallet and he didn't wanna let me pump or help me out. smh
You all know why people always come to Costco for gasoline. It has cheaper prices compared to other gas stations. The service is convenient but will get crowded at weekends. Remember: don't go to get your gasoline at Costco when you are in a hurry. You will regret if doing so haha
I enjoy going to this gas station. Very reasonable price. Easy in and out access. The attendant goes back and forth to make sure the cars are in their spots or guides them to the open lanes. Join the membership, it is worth the benefits that Costco provides for their members.
Limes seem long but there are quite a few pumps so they move quickly. Green /red signaling system shows you when a slot is open as you can't always see past the cars in front of you. Prices are usually 5 to 10 cents a gallon cheaper here than my go to Costco in Issaquah.
Best price and quality gasoline in town. I know! I have tried other gasolines brands and for whatever reason the Costco gasoline gives you more mileage per galon. I drive 30 miles to work each way so belive me even a mile a day has a big impact on my gasoline budget.
Great Prices, Horrible Queue Management This place is always a clustered nightmare. There are always pumps down and huge lines. Expect to wait 30 minutes for your chance to fill up. And be mindful when leaving; there are lots of blind corners at the exits.
Costco gas is worth every second you need to wait in line no matter how long they are. The difference between Costco prices and traditional gas stations are extremely worth the drive. I can save at least $15 each fill up in my work van alone.
Only Costco I've been to in the Seattle area with a car wash. Definitely one of my most visited stops after work. They also cleaned up the are under the bridge so you don't have people coming up to you while you fill up on gas anymore.
Luv it even more if hot cup of coffee was served. Haha. Gas is always a bettr price ,than anyone around & sometimes longer lines but always runs smoothly & is im having a issue with my card attendant takes care of it. Thank u Costco..
I'll give you a break from all the other reviews making jokes about "getting gas" and stay on topic. The line moved smoothly, payment was a snap, the air smelled sweetly of petrol and the attendants seemed to be in good spirits.
Truly, one of the great self-service gas operations ever created. Seriously though, it can be fun watching the trains go by and the airplanes fly in or out of Boeing Field while you are stuffing money into your gas tank.
What happened? we got the pumps and the car wash then took the garage cans and window squeegee off from the other Costcos! What's up with that? It's a gas station I'm paying for the gasstation services aren't we all.
Costco Gasoline is Cheap and best , worth the membership price . If you are fuelling your car elsewhere do consider costco . You will save atleast 5-7$ per month on average and more based on how many times you fuel
What can I say: - Cheapest gas around - Fast and Efficient - line moves quickly. And the red/green signs are so helpful. - You can purchase a car wash from the pumps if you felt like it. Nothing to complain here!
The gas here is always well prepared. The quality of gas is what you'd expect from a franchise, but the price makes up for that. I highly recommend the 87 octane. This place is popular and there could be lines.
Best price in town for gas. Usually 40-60¢ cheaper than anything you'll find around. I usually find it worth it to make the trip over if I have the time. If I can pair it with a trip to Costco even better.
I enjoy shopping at Costco, with items exhibited clearly and affordably priced. I’m able to find the best of many items, and have yet to have a bad experience with the quality of anything purchased.
Great gas prices. Long lines. If you're going to fill your vehicle please be prepared and fill your vehicle as quickly as possible! By moving the line quickly you help yourself & everybody else.
The gas is high quality, the price is generally the lowest around, and it's a very convenient location, the downside is that lines may be longer then average gas stations so plan accordingly!
I had a bad experience while I was at the Costco car wash in Seattle. Around 3:40 pm on 10/14/2023, one of the Costco agents working at the car wash asked me where I got my driver's license.
Cheapest gas in the city (but you have to be a Costco member). The free, automated tire pressure system by the main Costco store entrance (IE not by the pump) is a nice benefit as well.
A great place to get fuel for your vehicle at a great price. By the way, if the Costco store is nearby, they have some of the best Bavarian cream- filled cakes that I have ever eaten.
I've had really friendly experiences with the employees there. Members only though. Generally busy since the gas is cheap for the area unless you go early in the morning (before 8AM).
Most Costco centers have shopping and fuel but this location has a car wash as well. Didn't expect it to be in the industrial area but thought that was cool as well. Quick in and out.
The 4th Ave location is convenient for me, I pulled in with a flat tire. The tire center put my spare on. It was so busy, I had no appointment, they got me outta there in 40minutes.
Cheapest gas in town. Since the renovation and the added pumps the wait is not long at all. Best of all this location has a car wash that does a very good job of cleaning my car.
They only have 87 and 92 octane. Some day I'd like to see them offer ethanol free fuels for lawn mowers, tractors, and older carb vehicles. Still a pretty good experience …
Good golly, for how busy this location & pumps are, ridiculously fast process Love the savings & the pump area is the cleanest ever, pumps? These are like new every time
Short lines today, got through quickly. Appreciate the price. Nice wide lanes. Like the fact that I can do gas, groceries then Starbucks in the one visit, more or less.
Costco gas offers the price we can find. Our mechanic has told us to use regular gas ....even though we drive a high performance car. The car thrives on Costco regular.
Busy gas station and not enough pumps for the amount of pumping customers, but really no way to expand it. Prices are definitely better than anywhere else in Seattle.
Always the lowest cost option in town with high quality gasoline. Since they opened up a third pump per lane, cars move quickly as well. Well worth the membership.
5 stars really for the price. Hard to beat with the confidence that Costco is behind the quality. Could use more pumps as it could get crazy busy on weekends
Ummmm. You want gasoline. You want it to be affordable and close to that big box store you buy everything from. This hits all those buttons.
Kudos to the staff. They run an efficient operation. The lines may seem long but really move quickly. The price is worth the wait for sure.
The only downside to Costco gas is that they don't have super unleaded. It's only regular or midgrade. Also, no window washer squeegees.
I can drive across the country stopping only at Costco gas stations.... Buy a gift card and you only need one card and you prepaid
Seattle’s only gas station, amirite? I love how they don’t post fuel prices, but you know it will still be the best deal in town.
Cheapest gas in Seattle by far. Very clean and organized even on busy days. Also best carwash in Seattle for $8. Can't beat it.
Well organized, always clean and well stocked. Pump open status lights are a game changer! Too bad there's often a long queue.
Great place to get deals on gas however is always packed and have to wait in line a lot of times but you can't beat the prices
The best price in town with plenty of pumps. Even if you wait, it won't be long. Also the best price on drive-through car wash
Luckily I found this petrol station because they offer the cheapest price for gasoline. A must recommend gas station in town!.
Best price on gas by half a buck on some days. Gas buddy app is a fun and fast way to find the best price on gas.
The gas was soo cheap and it made my car go! Would do this again. You'll need a Costco card to activate the pump.
There will probably be a line buy you can't find cheaper gas anywhere else. Their cash wash is surprisingly good
Amazing location, not in an ideal area of town from my perspective, yet a very large space with terrific prices.
TIL Costco's hot dog has remained $1.50 since it was first introduced in 1984. The same cannot be said of gas.
Best gas prices even though our employer gives us a 10 cent discount, at their pump, Westville save at COSTCO
Great prices, great lines. Great as in the great wall of China, lines so long you can see it from space.
Federal Way Costco has added several pumps, which means little or no waiting. Always the best prices..
Better pricing. So why go anywhere else. The local casino gas was cheaper but now back up there. Ugh.
Great prices and I appreciate that this location has screens that tell you when pumps are occupied.
Lowest price that we have seen in the area. Three pumps per lane. Long lines but moves along well.
It's literally THE BEST PLACE to get gas!... there is no argument capable of opposing Costco gas!
Always a great experience, prices are good and when they do have lines they move fairly quick.
Lines were kinda long, but it moves pretty quickly. They always have an attended or 2 on site
Good prices, prices prices. The line to get gas can get a bit long. No more space to expand.
Cheaper than other places, if you’re a member of Costco enjoy the service when you’re around
What can I say about this? Great prices. You can go to Costco to get a hot dog and get gas!
It's always really busy but the gas is a good price and that's why I deal with the lines.
Great Gas Prices, Line always moves fast, great car wash, also line always moves quickly.
It's gas. No electricity yet. Expect long lines. $3.55 per gallon on December 22nd 2021.
Good prices, organized so nobody comes in from other direction and snakes an open spot.
Always a good experience and I can count on them to always have competitive gas prices
Gas line moves at a decent pace even though there’s always long lines most of the day.
Fast, even with long lines, and the prices are better than most of the other stations.
They do a good job of funneling all of the cars through there safely and efficiently.
Since they added a 3rd pump per Bay the line goes so much faster. Great improvement.
Cheap and efficiently laid out. Definitely worth driving a little out of the way for
More expensive than other locations.. prices should be the same across Washington..
gas prices cheaper than another gas station buy too many vehicles waite on the line
I get my gas here all the time and it's a little cheaper than regular gas stations.
Nice place to get your gas. You could also prepay for car wash at the gas station
Even when there are long lines, it’s moves quickly and the price is unbeatable!
Great price for fuel. Come early before store opens for shortest or no line(s).
Cheaper than most places. Even when it's a long line it usually moves quickly.
Usually best price in town if you consider the credit rebate portion as well.
I only go here for gas. Cheapest around and you know you're getting good gas.
One of the lowest gas prices available in the area. It's a quick in and out!
CostCo Gasoline is the only place I prefer to get gas. Lowest prices around.
Best gas prices around. The lines always look long, but they move quickly.
Good cheap gas, been using the cost brand for years, with no engine knock.
Quick and easy forgot my card and they still let me use their gas. Sweet!
Good prices and a car wash. Not much more to ask for. Just very busy here
Good gas , at fair pricing, lower than the surrounding area gas stations
LOVE Mr. Gary!! Lines usually move quickly, except during busy hours.
