pros: - clean and well maintained store - polite staff cons: - first couche tard/circle k that says they don't sell cigarettes or alcohol. They say it's the law. As a coporate lawyer, I assure you there is no law about businesses not allowed to sell alcohol on college campuses, my guess is that Mcgill doesn't want to lose its clientele when it comes to alcohol or tobacco. - place is not 24/7, which, again, is unusual for a couche tard - they have a self-service store but it takes ages to setup your account and it's the exact same items, so essentially you're wasting time on something you can get at the cash register quicker

Watch the price at the register. I’ve been twice this past week, and both times they tried to overcharge me for different items. The first time the cashier was very helpful, checked the listed item on the shelf and fixed it for me. The second time, I was told I was wrong, quite confidently from a different cashier, then after a bit of a pushback, they said they could check the listed price on the shelf in 5 minutes. So i left. Keep an eye on the prices.

Wanted a sandwich, decided not to purchase as they were all packaged 6 days ago. Not fresh. Edit: after 3 months I have still been unable to find a sandwich less than 5 days old here

the coffee is good and the staff is really friendly, we bought a pizza and the manager was super helpful!!
