Cover Tight Roofing (CTR) just did an entirely new roofing replacement for our house – the company we chose from the seven (7) roofing companies ; all, I should add, were obliging and professional in providing their estimates. CTR performed an excellent job from start to completion. A RoofPro Contractor, CTR installed the new replacement roof with an extended Iron Clad Protection Period warranty. In addition, CTR has included its 10-year transferable workmanship warranty. It provided a detailed written body of information on exactly what it would do every step of the roofing replacement project such as the specific materials it would use and their dimensions, the 6-nail per shingle approach – two more over the minimum required – thereby providing superior wind protection, and the addition of five (5) vents (increased from the old roofing based on the size of the segmented roof area.) CTR provided a copy of its Roofr Report on our house (a 7-page document that shows the roof top diagrams with measurements not only of the total roofing area but also of each roofing area section; it then shows four columns that show the amount of materials needed to be purchased for each specific part of the roofing project based on “0%”, 10%, 15% and 20% waste allowance. I found this Report very valuable: 1) it provides the rational basis for the appropriate number of vents needed, and 2) it shows the amount of materials needed to be ordered based on waste allowance ranging from “0%” to “20%”. Since all companies would retain materials left unused, CTR – in making its estimates – based its quantitative order of materials under the column of “0% Waste” allowance. In fact, only CTR provided us with such a Report and it based its estimate of cost on the project under that column, thereby enhancing our confidence in CTR. The crew adjusted their working schedule to weather conditions and threats of thunderstorm and completed the project on time as projected at the start. Also, they cleaned up the debris at the end of each day’s work, and most thoroughly at the completion of the project. A very pleasant team of workers, indeed. All these at a reasonable and affordable price, although not the lowest. Since I am retired, I had the privilege of watching daily the project from beginning to the end. Cover Tight Roofing just completed my house (first time I've had my roof re-done) and the process was extremely smooth. The owner, Mr. Sanders came out the day I requested an estimate and took the time to actually assess the roof (the only one of the three contractors we had that requested estimates that actually went up). He took the time to explain my options, and go through the quote. He did up the quote right there and we were able to chat through it. Once we were comfortable moving forward he gave me a timeline of about three weeks, which was fine, but low and behold the shingles were delivered and work started within about a week. The roofers were curteous and respectful even though we were somewhat unlucky with the weather. They managed the job effectively working intermittently due to some rain, but always managed to close things up, working on one slope at a time. They did a good job cleaning up and even planned to come back to blow off any remaining asphalt dust from the old shingles. Responsiveness and professionalism of the team was top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I called Covertight for a second estimate after being approached by a company in the neighbourhood. The first company came in dress clothes and gave an estimate without looking at the roof. Ryan came and walked the roof. When I told him I wasn't expecting him to have to walk the roof he explained the best way to see what shape the roof is in is by going on it. His estimate was well below the first company with the same products and services. He came the day he said he would but the rain stopped them early. I had told him the day we met that I like to walk my yard barefoot and his team cleaned up in the rain so my family was safe. The rain cut their day short the next day as well and again they cleaned up all the debris in the pouring rain. I had more debris left in my yard when my neighbours did their roof than his team left each day. They were very professional and friendly. I would give them more stars if I could!

I would highly recommend Cover Tight Roofing based upon our recent experience. From the quotation process through job completion, Ryan and his crew were extremely helpful, professional and very courteous. They took the time to offer us several options for our roofing needs and explained pluses and minuses of each option. I contacted Ryan at Cover Tight Roofing in April 2023 to arrange a quote on the garage roof. He answered the phone which was a bonus! He came out a few days later, got up on the roof and took pictures of the state it was in. He explained what needed to be done and sent out a detailed quote. Ryan was very clear that because the garage was a small scale job, it would be done in between larger ongoing projects and he would call when they were ready. An excellent and professional roofing job from to beginning to end. It started right from the estimate, where Ryan identified issues with lack of venting and took proper measurements and photos to justify the estimate. The estimate was fair and good value. The roofing job took place over 2 days, including the first day which was one of the hottest of the year, but this didn't prevent them from working a full and productive day. The final result was beautiful and the clean up was great. Highly recommend!!

Very happy with my experience! I called and they got back to me immediately, my roof was leaking from snow thawing and they climbed into my attic and thoroughly inspected the issue. They showed me photos of the damage and provided a very reasonable quote. They sent someone as soon as the snow melted to further inspect and re-tar my roof. I would recommend using them again, they offered honest timely service!

We required new shingles on our house. Cover Tight provided a reasonable estimate in a timely manner. He also provided some important advise on ventilation which we adopted. The roof was stripped and done in one day. Yard was cleaned up and left the way they had arrived. If I have more roofing to be done or other work, this is the company I would be calling.
