⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars I recently had the most fantastic experience at Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth, and I can't wait to share my glowing review! From start to finish, the whole evening was an absolute delight. Firstly, the location of the Coyote Drive-In couldn't be more perfect. Nestled in the heart of Fort Worth, it offers breathtaking views of the city skyline that make you feel like you're in a movie scene yourself! The ambiance is simply magical, and the setup makes for a unique and unforgettable movie-watching experience. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the friendly and efficient staff. They guided us to our parking spot with smiles on their faces and were more than willing to help with any questions we had. The level of service was top-notch, and it set the tone for a great evening ahead. The selection of movies available was fantastic, catering to various tastes and preferences. Whether you're into the latest blockbuster hits or enjoy classic films, Coyote Drive-In has something for everyone. I appreciate how they curate their movie lineup, ensuring there's always a great choice for moviegoers of all ages. As the sun began to set, the excitement grew as we eagerly awaited the movie to start. I loved the way they coordinated the audio with the big screen through our car radio. The sound quality was excellent, and it made us feel like we were right in the middle of the action. Perhaps the highlight of the night was the cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Sitting in the comfort of my car, surrounded by the night sky and the twinkling lights of the city, it was an experience like no other. There's something so special about being able to watch a movie in such a relaxed and intimate setting. The entire experience at Coyote Drive-In was flawless from beginning to end, and I left with a big smile on my face. It's evident that the management and staff take great pride in creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for their guests. I highly recommend Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth to anyone looking for a fun, unique, and unforgettable movie night. I can't wait to go back and create more cherished memories with friends and family. Two thumbs up!

My first and last experience at this theater. I decided to bring out my Shelby GT350R to go see Gran Turismo, figured it was a fitting occasion. Like most modern cars it has day time running lights that aim at the ground. I had 4 employees over the span of the first hour I was there asking me to “turn my headlights off” even though they were off and my running lights were just on. Since the sound comes through your radio station the car has to be on in some capacity which leaves them on. They wanted to tape a trash bag on the bumper which I explained my car is ceramic coated so any sort of tape or adhesive won’t stick and it will just fall off. All 4 of these employees said “Oh ok well they’re aiming towards the ground so I’m sure it’ll be fine, I’ll let my manager know so we don’t have to come talk with you again.” About 20 minutes goes by before the manager shows up, and right away he’s some what hostile. I was calm and explained exactly what I had told the other 4 employees to him and explained they said it was going to be fine and they were letting you know of the issue. But this guy persisted with “your headlights need to be off or you can’t be here”, which I explained again they are off it’s the running that’s on when the car is on for the radio. Things got tense because this guy just kept repeating himself so I willingly left because I didn’t feel like arguing with a brick wall anymore. So I proceed to leave and he screams at me “YOU ARE NO LONGER WELCOME AT MY THEATER” all because when I started the car and backed up a slight incline behind my parking spot in a MANUAL transmission the car’s exhaust had made some noise. A manual car doesn’t just move on its own, you have to give it some gas to start rolling, especially on an incline. Not sure what he expected me to do, push it out of there with the car off? Didn’t even finish the movie and will not plan on returning here.

Just a mile from Main St, nestled in the heart of Fort Worth, sits the Coyote Drive-In. This isn't just a drive-in theater; it's an eclectic mix of a classic outdoor cinema and a bustling tailgate party. Imagine if Truck Yard was combined with a drive-in; that's the unique, energetic vibe you'll find here. One of the many highlights of this location is the stunning view of the downtown skyline. As you sit back in your camping chair or tailgate from your hatchback or pickup, you can take in the vibrant cityscape, adding an urban touch to your movie night. The drive-in proudly features four impressive screens, offering a wide variety of films. Coupled with fantastic image clarity, you'll feel immersed in the movie while enjoying an open-air cinema experience. But the Coyote Drive-In is not just about films. Live music performances set a lively pre-movie atmosphere that feels like a mini festival. Plus, there's no shortage of recreational activities, with a buzzing playground, retro video games (free!), and fun yard games available. Seating is everywhere, and the bathrooms were fairly clean. Adding to the festive spirit is an array of food trucks with delightful, inexpensive offerings to satisfy your movie-time cravings. They also have a decent beer selection on tap! What truly sets this venue apart is the incredible staff. Their attentiveness and readiness to assist is exceptional. When I couldn't figure out how to turn off the headlights of my new vehicle, a staff member was quick to lend a hand. Coyote Drive-In, with its nostalgic charm and modern enjoyment, delivers more than just a movie theatre experience; it's a communal space that marries a wonderful view of downtown Fort Worth with a refreshing twist on a traditional movie night. Highly recommended for a one-of-a-kind night out!

My husband and I visited the Coyote Drive-In for the first time at the beginning of the year. It was so fun! We bought our tickets online and got there early as soon as the gates opened so that we could get a good spot and get one of the VERY FEW radios they have for rent at the bar (I would definitely recommend doing this so you don't waste your car battery). I was worried we were going to be bored waiting for several hours for the movies to start but we were pleasantly surprised by the live music they had at the pavilion next to the playground! It was such a family friendly setting that would be great for kids or couples wanting to have a date night. The food is pretty good (get popcorn!) and if you buy a large drink you can get free refills all night. BEWARE OF THE BEES though at the drink station. Also be sure to bring something to tie down the trunk of your car if you decide to sit in the back. They require your trunk hatch to be level with the top of your vehicle so you don't block the screen for cars behind you. They will drive around and check for that as well as outside food or drinks which they will take from you if they catch you with it (so don't try to sneak anything in). I could see the movie clearly and hear it really well with the speaker we rented. I wouldn't recommend seeing particularly dim movies (like horror movies) however because it may be hard to see on the screen at night. Overall, we had an awesome time and really enjoyed the inexpensive double feature at the drive in with the downtown Fort Worth skyline backdrop!

Drive-In experience was exciting, at first. Arrived one and a half hours before movie started. Had a great spot in the middle close to where the projector trailer is located-movie 1. Young ladies at concession, very friendly. Bartender for the beer concession...not so friendl. I asked for info on the frozen treats, answered abruptly and turned his back on me and walked away (no one else was in line) still ordered the strawberry treat. Very good and for the $6.00 price, worth it. Nice place but pricey. Taco truck...tacos not very good. Women's bathrooms had floor flooding. Many places available to park but this family with three cars...SUV parked in front of us, kids inside kept flashing the blinkers. My view...half screen plus very loud, disrespectful family. Opened their trunk and it was full of pizza boxes with pizza...plus a big blue and white ice chest was full of drinks...stated in front and online (absolutely no outside food or drinks). So much for the employees that drove by in the golf cart and chose a blind eye of out it. We packed our stuff and moved to the corner back. My daughter enjoyed her movie but we were so uncomfortable about the disrespect nature of that family and the employee. Driving out of there was easy but construction, winding streets to get to the freeway...ugh. Coyote Drive in, is a beautiful place...will try again. Hopefully I can rate a 5 star next time. ($32.00 for 2 sodas and popcorn) $18.00 to enter (3 people) food $6.00 each plate. Enjoy the pictures and I hope everyone enjoys the place

I will never return here again!!! Bryan the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my gf as well as several other guests that night. The imbecile at the ticket booth gave us the wrong theater screen. We drove over an hour away and were there an hour early for the movie. Once we realize we were at the wrong movie, the movie that we were there to see already started. We drive to the other movie screen and it’s completely full! We go to the ticket booth and ask for a refund. We are met with hostility from the Manager Bryan(short bald white guy) immediately. He begins make snobby remarks unwarranted towards us then tell us that we need to leave after the refund. As I’m leaving he begins to agitate us further and says “enjoy your movie” after he asked us to leave. He begins to radio the employees that we don’t want to leave even though I’m in the car headed towards the exits as he’s saying this. This guy is extremely mentally unstable and needs to be dealt with! I would never step foot anywhere near this place and I’ll tell everyone to never go here

Great place to bring the family. Come early on saturdays, because it gets packed and sold out fast. Many food options for everyone, they serve beer and shaved ice. My only complaint is that customers don't read the guidelines for using the drive in. People next to us left cars on with loud engines and blew hot air and gas smoke near families sitting outside their cars. Read the rules and respect others trying to enjoy the movie. If you don't like sitting in some heat then I recommend going to a movie theater with an ac. No reason to come to a outdoor theater just to sit in your car with the ac. There is a play area for the kids and clean bathrooms. They are also pet friendly as long as you scoop the poop. Love showing my children how we watched movies in our time.

  • Logan

What a date night location! How have we lived here for so long and never knew this place was here?! This whole experience was awesome and it brought back a flood of childhood memories. We were caught off guard by how many people cannot follow simple directions, but the staff addressed it fairly quickly in all situations. Multiple screens with multiple movies draws a decent crowd, but once the film's started you almost forget you are surrounded by hundreds of people. Screen 4 fights the lights from their driveway, but lay your seat back and forget about it. They do a great job with clarity for outdoor projectors and the views before the film are an event within themselves. Looking forward to the next round of movies to head back out there.

  • Courtney Garrison

I LOVE the drive-in movie theater! Staff is friendly, food prices are affordable, they have food trucks, a playground for kids, and live music before the show. Tickets are extremely affordable! Adult tickets are $6 and children's tickets are $5 and you get to watch two movies. That alone is worth it! The best part is my son can talk in the car and doesn't have to sit still. There's others who load up with pillows and blankets to sit in the back of their truck or SUV. If you wanted to make a great adults night out-- go to the drive-in, see two movies and then head to downtown Fort Worth which is a minute away, if that, and close down the bars for the next hour-hour and a half.

  • John

I’m sorry. I really enjoy the screenings here but the concessions are such a ripoff I’d consider them scams. Do not order any concessions here, just bring your own. I ordered two “wagyu” sliders (total joke) and no exaggeration, the patties were the size of a half dollar coin. The 99 cent cheeseburgers you heat up at 7/11 are larger than those, and you can buy 8 of them for what coyote is charging for 2 of these. It was almost comical, because the bread they were on was about as large as the picture, but the meat didn’t even cover half the bun. It was also flavorless and old. I want a response here for a refund now, or I’m never coming back.

  • Kenneth Cole

The entire staff is awesome and it's good to get great service but with them being young teenagers with manners makes it even more appreciative. We had an awesome night, everything was clean, bathrooms immaculate, and food not crazy expensive. As my wife and kids first time they were very well pleased and it's definitely a great place for a date or safe night with the fam. They serve beer and margaritas but just go. Due to covid they're no longer doing double features but it's still worth every penny. It's a great wait and see surprise, don't mention where you're going, just go and watch their reaction. Thanks Coyote y'all were great.

I keep forgetting to write these guys a review, but this place is amazing! So much better than a conventional drive-in, and they offer food service to your vehicle as well. The main area for food and drinks is amazing with everything they offer. They have a wide variety of food choices. The only thing I don't like ever since COVID though is the fact that there are no more large condiment bottles out for everyone to use instead it's just packets which is less than ideal, but I completely understand the reasoning. Overall an amazing venue to take the family and watch the latest hit movies outdoors.

  • Trang Le

If i can do negative stars I will. REALLY RUDE PEOPLE here!!!! They have the problem with their payment system. They have 4 lanes. We see 20 or more cars from other lanes passed us. Many people behind me got upset. The cars behind me horned & the girl came out said to my husband "have you guys bought the ticket yet. If not, you can turn around" . WHAT's service is this i'm driving 40 mins for this. Why don't they said that to other cars but to our car? ARE THEY discriminating Asian? Why don't they just closed 1 lane if they know that 1 lane is having an issue.

  • Nyasha C

I love the drive in movies. The movie prices are reasonable. There's a little park for young kids to play in while you wait for the movie to start. We arrived a little early and there was also live entertainment, there was a guy playing a saxophone and he was great. There's benches to sit on outside if you dont want to sit in your car. You can also bring in lawn chairs and stuff to sit on and watch outside. They also sell beer and wine. The view of downtown fort worth is beautiful too. It's an hour away from me and I was not disappointed. I will be back....

  • Adrian Monsivais

This was my first and last time at this theater. The concept is nice, but the other drivers made this an unpleasant experience. People are constantly going in and out of their cars which causes their bright lights to come on during the movie, some people leave their headlights on or randomly turn them on for some reason during the movie, and there were at least 3 trucks who showed up 40 minutes into the film, blinding everyone with their extra bright lights. Again, nice concept, but the staff needs to enforce the rules.

  • Hope

I wasn't aware the concessions closed before the last movie. That really puts a damper on things, especially with kids. It was my daughter's birthday and no food can be brought in? I was lucky to get water bottles from the remaining employees. I am utterly grateful that they have someone to help if your vehicle battery runs out. That was amazing! Good job with that part! Overall, it's a pretty awesome place, we totally love the experience when we go. Great place, just make sure you plan ahead.

  • Dennis Ta

First time here and it is a great spot for a beautiful night out. Had some good vibes here at their concessions and a local cat that was super friendly. Enjoyed the views with minimal interference except when a car had parked in front of me with their hatch opened all the way up. Rules indicate that we are suppose to close them but they did not. Wish they had a crew that would come by to enforce the rule. Other than the screen being blocked slightly, I had a wonderful time and will be back.

  • Matt Gabe

I love this place. I’ve been going sense they first opened! Be careful when ordering tickets online. The website sometimes reloads on it’s on. I ended up buying ticket for the wrong date. Called and emailed but no response I tried to buy those same tickets today but using the app, it also reloads on its on, but instead of the wrong date it pushes you into the purchase tickets window w/out having an email. If you have time, get there early and buy them the old fashioned way

  • Derick Snow

A fun time! We got in about 30 minutes early to get good parking for the screen. They have an outdoor concession area that was really hopping when we went to grab a popcorn. Fortunately this place was well staffed to easily handle the crowd so the line moved fast. Bathrooms were in good shape. Big bright movies look great out here. Your car's fm radio will provide audio. The screens are a little dimmer than indoor theaters, so maybe don't come for the moody dark films.

  • Chris Cloud

Had a great time here! My wife forced us to go THREE hours before super Mario brothers started, citing concerns of getting a bad spot. We weren’t the earliest, there was a young couple hold up in their vehicle before we parked on the front row. The good news is that they have a large turf area for the kids to play and an entertainment area with video games and food and even a bar. Although, a can of cider is $6!!! You can buy a 6 pack for $9 at Tom Thumb.

  • Jana McLaughlin

Went last week. Found it randomly whilst planning a trip to the Sundance Square. Glad I read the reviews here as it really paid off to come at 6pm as the place fills in fast afterwards. Our car kept switching off so we kept losing the sound for a couple seconds now and then. I like that you don't have to leave your car if you want to order something during the movie as they bring it to your car. The view of the city gives it the right romantic feel.

  • Chris L

Amazing gem in fort worth! Truly takes you back to the good days. The whole area has such an awesome vibe to it. I love the concession stands and love how pet friendly it is. A few different movies to choose from and the parking is set up perfectly. We watched a scary movie and it was kinda hard to see the dark scenes even late at night. I had such a great time though and love love love this place. I can't wait to return for many more movies!!!

  • Gustavo Vaquera

So, so disappointed of Coyote drive-in. Went to see the Nun 2, don't waste your money. Please. 1- movie was too freakin dark to see anything, 2- movie was blurry, and 3- freaking people lights on and off as of the taillights as well. Light pollution is bad. Coyote please don't waste people's money by playing dark movies that you can't see. Hell I was watching Blue Beetle thru my side mirror more clearly than the movie in front of me.

  • Belle Yvette

We drove from Irving to come experience this place and it was very unique and clean, the picture quality and sound was good for the movies and the workers were amazing and attentive. The price range was very affordable including the food, the concessions area was beautiful and clean and well decorated they also had a good variety of choices. Bathrooms we’re also very clean. We loved the experience and will definitely be back!

  • Candi R.

The idea was pretty cool but the actual experience was a failure. There were people arriving almost 20 minutes into the movie with their headlights on. Our neighbors kept their cars on and we had to smell their exhaust. Another group partied through the movie and all we heard was very loud cackling laughter. Another group still were smoking weed! It wafted through the whole parking lot. I was sad my family had to smell that.

  • Cristin Martin

I loved going here! It's such a fun environment! The food is really good. They have an attendant walking around to make sure all car lights are turned off because not everyone is considerate. It's a unique place to go, whether on a date or family outing. We saw a film during a lightning storm. It was so fascinating to watch lightning while watching a film. It just added to the experience.

  • robert navarro

Miss the old drive in movie days? This place is a blast from the past! Four screens total and a new way to buy suds and feet yer grub on. Playground with tables and couches to relax and kick Dem boots off. Love the banners under the roof of past local drive ins. Bring the kidos and feel the huge ceiling fans for a kewl night and new adventures. Let's create new nostalgia moments!

  • Jasmyne Hokenson-Kite

We love coming here, but tonight they gave us the wrong theater number for our movie. Once we realized that we were at the wrong movie, we had to scramble to figure out which one we needed to go to and we ended up missing the beginning of our film. We weren't the only ones given the wrong theater number either. We'll still be coming here, but tonight I was really disappointed

  • Olurotimi Henry

Looking for a drive in movie arena. Coyote drive in is your go to place. They have about 4 or 5 big screens on a large expanse of land. You can either stay in your car while you watch the movie or have a chair near your car, sit and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The restrooms are usually clean and they have a spot where you can relax and also buy food and drinks.

  • Kay Freeman

Always enjoy coming here!! Been going since 2014 back when there were two locations.. seems they’ve gotten a lot more business now and I love that for them and us because the little arcade/seating area has gotten much cooler with a fire pit. Do wish they had more selection of sweets and premiering movies. Would’ve loved to seen Bottoms or The Blackening here.

  • Sunny Cloud

3 stars because of the amazing view of downtown Fort Worth! That was absolutely stunning! The facility is pretty ran down. It’s hard to see the screen because of all the light pollution….from the city lights and inconsiderate people with their car lights on. Food is concession stand grade….$28 for 3 chili dogs and no drink. They did have a nice bar area.

  • Little Lynn

I wanna give David a big thanks for being behind the bar and being a great help. For my first time being here, I enjoyed it alot and I quote, "I never want to go to a regular movie theater again". This is better than having to sit in a chair inside. Being outside is more enjoyable so this was a great experience. The radios were also very helpful!

  • Jimmy Menke

Coyote Drive-In was a great experience! I had no idea this was there until we did some searching for fun dates in Fort Worth, and came across this. It was cold outside (perfect for snuggling in a car at a drive in), and they had the fireplaces and heaters going in the food court area. Good food, hot chocolate, beer, popcorn! Highly recommended!!!

  • T Cartwright

I love that there are double features. I like that I can listen through the radio. I love that there's a playground for the kids to play on. It has very clean facilities. The food is really good and very well priced. They have great deals on alcoholic beverages. It's a very family friendly place. I definitely recommend!

  • Sidney Brewer

Brian and his staff are wonderful. Brian the manager always makes us feel welcome. Everything is clean and everyone is super friendly. When you’re at Coyote drive in of Fort Worth you’re made to feel at home. Thank you Brian from the staff and clients of mainstream habilitation services we love you guys!!!

  • BR00KE _Amonalisa

First time drive in experience. We went to see Space Jam, and the movie was Awesome! We were in the fourth row in a very good visual spot. We opened the back of our Kia Sportage and blasted the sound and it was Great! Prices were fantastic, atmosphere was nice....no one bothered us. We enjoyed ourselves.

  • Justin Atteberry

Loved getting to watch a movie with my kids in the back of my truck. My kids enjoyed the movie, but I think they loved getting to play on the playground before the movie started and hanging out back of my truck all night. It was so cool! This may have just become a monthly treat for us.

  • Quel Holland

Brought my wife here for her first time ever going to a drive in. The fact that is in the city makes it extremely convenient. We went during the week so it wasn't over crowded. Our food was delivered fast and it was fresh and hot. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan on visiting again.

  • Amanda Bell

Great place. So fun! Concessions SUCK. We went back for a different popcorn because it was so STALE.. we were given another box that was made from the same batch. I was told that they weren't making any more popcorn, so the girl just had to try to find the "best" of the stale boxes

  • Felicia

Our first time here was amazing! I love everything about how easy it is to use all of their services to everything they have available. The only reason they got a 4 star instead of 5 is because of a food truck was brought in for street tacos that gave me and my son food poisoning.

  • Erin B

No longer any fun. Movie choices are horrible and no longer offer double features. People that do show up are loud and obnoxious ruining the movie experience for everyone else. Mgmt no help w this situations. Better off waiting for a movie to watch at home!

  • Arelia

Love Coyote Drive In! My family and I have seen countless movies here.. its definitely something My children will remember from their childhood. We had a very great employee recently who made my daughters whole night yesterday, and mine too if im honest. ❤️

  • TJ Higdon

More than a dozen movies seen here, and every experience has been great. Quick moving lines to get tickets as well as standing in line for food and drinks. The food/drink delivery to your vehicle option they offer is also very inexpensive and quick.

  • Eric Jackson

Really had a great time, the little food canteen was fun, classic movie was great. One little problem, we think there's a bit of a flea infestation there. One in our party got bit up and our dogs ended up with them a couple of days later.

  • Anthony Serna

Awesome environment. They don't just play movies that just came out but also play fan favorite classics. Last year, we took the kids to see Harry Potters that were playing every week, and they enjoyed the movie, playground, and food.

  • Gabriel Carlton

Fantastic experience. Movies are great but the atmosphere and amenities make this a great place to spend time and hang out before and during your showtime. They also rent radios if you want to listen to a movie out of your car.

  • Sunil V

Went in on a Wednesday, to take advantage of the 5$ tickets. The screen quality is okay and the sounded great in a tesla. The food was little expensive considering the portion sizes. I would recommend going to this place.

  • hoonigan nick

Do not order food to be delivered it won't be. Walk over to the pavilion only to find out the kitchen is closed an hour after I place my order. Ended up leaving missing both my food and the movie. What a great experience

  • Michelle Tafoya

Great place for a family night! Food trucks, games and live music amazing staff with direction on parking and assisting in any questions! Love the environment here everytime we come! Thank you, - Tafoya Family

  • CS S

Very fun neat experience loved the vibe and atmosphere. Tickets cheaper than AMC, Movie Tavern, and Studio Movie Grill. Just don't like when people don't know how to just shut off their damn headlights.

  • Elizabeth Rodriguez

Great date spot! Food selection is alright and pricey. However, tickets are a good deal and you get to watch a movie in the comfort of your own car. This provides a semi-private and novel experience :)

  • Rick Snyder

Brian in management is awesome. He took care of us to make sure we had a great experience. It's like the perfect date nite on Fridays despite traffic. Our only dred is going home when the movie is over

  • Dollie

Absolutely a perfect experience! We went and brought the tiny pups who loved the adventure as much as we did. Dog friendly, kid friendly, and definitely an adult friendly place!! ENJOY! …

  • Rachel Crosby

The best drive in I've ever been to! The food is good with several options, spots are clearly marked. They had live music before the movie, clean atmosphere, with FREE gaming stations.

  • Ryan Carver

Great drive-in. Four screens. Food trucks, vendors, and sit down areas. Bathrooms are also in permanent building in the center. New movies, and nice lay out. Clean and professional.

  • Vernon Vann

Always enjoy going to the drive-in. Food is good and not priced too high, and I love that they bring it right to your car so you don’t have to stand around in line out in the heat.

  • Kyunghee Cho

The atmosphere is very chill and nice. The weather was perfect and more satisfied than I expected! The place is clean even the restroom. Had great night with movice, John Wick 4

  • Jaclyn Allmon

My family absolutely loves the Coyote drive in. We go pretty much every couple of weeks and we always have a blast. They have great prices and great food and drink selections.
