Very poor, unreliable and negligent customer service. The store has been closed but they did not bother to update it anywhere be it Google or delivery apps. I place an order for a special birthday cake for a person in isolation 2 hours prior to delivery, the order gets accepted, my Doordash delivery person reaches to pickup order and then realises the store is closed. I end up getting no cake since all stores are mostly shut by the time I realise this messup happened. Never ordering from here again. Be sure to call them up to ensure they are actually open.

I have had the cakes before as co-workers have bought them in and really enjoyed them. Ordered my first one yesterday (gluten and dairy-free Berry coconut), and it is absolutely delicious (and not overly sweet)! You would not know it's gluten AND dairy free, wonderful texture and flavour, and the berry topping was added fresh when I picked it up. The service from the baker was lovely and the online ordering process was super easy. I will definitely be getting my cakes from here from now on :)

My workplace recently ordered a cake from here for a staff birthday morning tea. It was absolutely delicious! Good prices, amazing cake, ordering was easy, and the staff/owner was absolutely lovely! While we've only ordered the one time, we have every intention of ordering many times in the future. They have cake boxes which they encourage you to re-use as well which is excellent. Highly recommend. :)

Wanted to celebrate birthday or need a cake for gift? This place has manything to offer but i keep coming back only for their caramel cake or coco caramel. It was amazing cake, the sponge, the caramel combine into one. They will serve you with smile and they are happy to explain each cake. The place also accessible by public transport but if you drive better to park your cark near coles.

Purchased both the Polenta & Coconut and Apple cakes, both were delicious and received rave reviews from everyone around the office Friendly staff at the store on Grenfell Street. Can't wait to go back and try the Churros cake. Also, just a small thing, but the handles on the boxes makes them so much easier to carry (especially more than 1) than the traditional white cake boxes with no handle and it presents them nicely with the window

The worst experience I have ever encountered for a 21st birthday cake order in my entire life! Warning to future customers! Do not waste your time! They're so vague! I mentioned my requirements several times on the phone. It wasn't until I entered the shop and asked for my order they stated I was required to place an order on the line so I had no choice but to purchase a simple cake already made in store. Totally unprofessional!

I live in Sydney and every time I go to adelaide to visit my parents I must go to cozy cake and get a cake. Last time I brought home to Sydney the paçoca cake and this time I got the choc and churros. Both were incredible, but the choco and churros was just the best. It was moist, and just enough sweetness! It was AMAZING! I had a very happy boyfriend when I arrived home! Thank you so much

The raste is good, but the staff’s attitude is worst. I have been here to buy their cakes for three times, I always greeting to them with smile, however, today I went there the brown hair lady used a arrogant looked at me, and didn’t say hello after I greeted her. I had recommended to my friends that their cakes are great, but after this experience I won’t suggest to my friends anymore.

Probably one of the best bakeries for cakes in the city. I took their special Churros chocolate caramel cake for a friend's birthday, and it was amazing. Everyone wanted to know where I got it from :) Also, a very nice concept of recycling the boxes. Ask the lovely staff at the counter for details. My son has already asked me to request a Churros coffee cake for his birthday

Best Brazilian cakes in town! I have tried all their flavours (except banana not because it's not good but because I hate banana in general) and it only gets better and better!!! It is so hard to pick a favourite! My love for Cozy Cake and the entire team will never die!!!❤ Oh and they make THE BEST CHAI LATTE! And the cheese puffs are to die for!

Beautiful atmosphere filled with lovely people. They are authentically Brazilian! My in-laws are from Rio and they loved the Yoghurt and Berries cake. I bought the Brownie and berries Vegan cake last week and I absolutely adored it. Thank you for experimenting with vegan options, it was delicious as I can't wait to get another one for my birthday soon!

I had the polenta and coconut cake and I loved it! I took my husband to Brazil earlier this year and he noticed we Brazilians love cake and are always keen to have a slice with a cup of coffee. Having this shop in the Adelaide CBD is amazing and it will definitely be the right place to go to when I get a little homesick of Brazilian dessert.

Out of towner review: What a unique cake store! I wish Cozy Cakes was in Melbourne too.. it'd have lines out the door. When we arrived after lunchtime on a Saturday the cakes were nearly all sold out. Ordering online the day prior was super easy. We ordered the Ice Cold Lemon and it was delightfully light with the best real lemon flavour.

A great addition to the Adelaide CBD. It's great to see the bakers baking in the back of the shop all day. The cakes are delicious and much cheaper than other super-fresh cake stores. Everyone's so nice and happy, so it's a great environment to go into. And the coffee is the best within walking distance. Definitely recommend.

The cakes are delicious, moist and surprisingly light. The team works miracles with local ingredients to emulate the authentic flavours of Brazilian cuisine. And the cheese bread is also yummy - crisp on the outside and chewy inside. Couldn’t recommend more to anyone visiting Adelaide - a must go if you are from Brazil.

My family have been purchasing the cakes from Cozy Cakes for the last few months. We have always enjoyed the Polenta & Guava and Churros. Tried the Romeo and Juliet as well and was also nice. We got an apple tea cake from them for desert, super soft, sweet and fresh. Family loved it, chunks of apple throughout and super soft slices on top. Was able to cut through the whole thing with a butter knife (including the apple on top). Super impressed, will be back!

How long have I waited for that? I am finally able to have cakes I know and like in my afternoon tea. Polenta cake + Black coffee = You can't go wrong. Plus, the online and onsite service was as good as the cakes taste. Highly recommended.

I ordered the churro cake, the sponge is absolutely wonderful. It’s fluffy and not dense like most sponge cakes. The only downside is that it’s overwhelming sweet! So if you can’t handle Carmel I suggest stay away from this.

Delicious brazillian cakes - small whole cakes ~$22 (2022) with mini cakes for $7. Definitely worth grabbing one - moist cakey sponge, with chocolate icing or coconut etc. Loved rhe caramel, carrot and apple flavours.
