Chrystal went to art school with a concentration in painting, and with that background, she brings her trained eye as a colorist. After meeting for a complimentary consultation, she blended my grey (which I embrace and want to keep) with my darker hair color to help soften the transition. It lifted my spirits. Besides being great at her craft, I love that she lets me close my eyes and completely zone out while she focuses on my hair. It’s a rare and relaxing escape. Her space is in a peaceful private room in a shared modern and minimalist salon. I highly recommend Chrystal!

Chrystal is very professional and kind. She is great at helping decide on the details of a haircut idea and listens to her clients. I have only had cuts and no coloring, but with cuts she has been great at not making me feel rushed even if she is busy. I appreciate that she likes to look at your hair dry before beginning to get a good sense of your hair texture and your goals. Some stylists just start off by washing your hair and don't really know what your hair looks like naturally. Even better, she is just a really sweet and friendly person!

Chrystal is so wonderful! I’ve been going to her for almost 2 years now and she always makes my hair look its best. I’ve been blonde my whole life but recently I put my trust in her to make me a red head and it’s the red of my dreams! She really takes her time and makes sure that my hair not only looks great but is healthy as well. Before COVID, I had flown to Austin for a family trip and had got a haircut right before I left SF. Unfortunately, it was a new hairstylist and they butchered my hair. While I didn't have time to get it fixed in SF before my trip, I saw Chrystal at Craft Hair in Austin and she did some quick damage control. So grateful for Chrystal fitting me in! She's so talented, professional, and fun! Will definitely get my hair done with her when I'm in Austin again!

Chrystal makes you look and feel amazing when you leave! She really can transform your hair into exactly what you want! You can tell she understands the science behind coloring, styling and processing hair without damaging your hair (lightening/ bleaching). It makes you feel very comfortable and excited for the work she can do! I trust her entirely with my hair. I get Balayage Blonde and it is stunning every time!

Chrystal is very talented....her background in art was the reason I followed my daughter's recommendation and got my first pandemic cut at Craft Hair. She did an excellent job with my challenging hair (thin and thinning).....6 weeks later it still looks like a fresh cut. She takes serious COVID precautions. I will be going back, well worth driving in to Central Austin from Round Rock.
