"This is my perspective from the park entrance from Creditview rd"
"We started walking to a narrow foot path along the riverbank"
"A little wet this time of year"
"A small greenspace with a couple picnic benches that are well shaded"
"Used to be well-maintained during summer but in fall there is litter almost everywhere and most of the trail is not accessible but still some pretty interesting and beautiful views of the trees and the small river flowing through the park"
This is my perspective from the park entrance from Creditview rd.. DISGUSTING.. horrible people have left and thrown trash everywhere.. The grass is not maintained And there wasn't a garbage can in sight A young family came to picnic and quickly turned away in disgust and in fear of their children getting hurt or sick from the debris We had rafted from another park and the difference was like amd day and night.. The city needs to step in and maintain areas for people to use.. even the bench was so rotten it had weeds growing out of the planks that make up seat.. The litter bugs need to take their trash with them... it was so sad to see a park in our city in that condition Shame on the city and those that littered
We started walking to a narrow foot path along the riverbank. I was expecting a cement path or something for nature walking but it was not my cup of tea. It's for those who like fishing and searching for snakes. We were not far in when I noticed a man with his camera pointed to the ground and he's using a poker searching. I'm curious so I asked what he's doing and he confirmed my suspicion, a snake! Well that ended our walk! We all turned backed.
A little wet this time of year. Even the maintained pathway is under water in many areas. Would be nice to improve drainage. Credit river is very high and fast moving now. Still a good walk with the dogs. Saw ducks, geese, wild turkeys and deer in the woods on this short walk. A few geo caches in the area too if that's your thing.
A small greenspace with a couple picnic benches that are well shaded. Two trails; the south one leads to the bank of the credit and is good for fishing, the other on the north end of the park leads through the local forest. Parking is a small gravel lot. Porta potty for a bathroom.
Used to be well-maintained during summer but in fall there is litter almost everywhere and most of the trail is not accessible but still some pretty interesting and beautiful views of the trees and the small river flowing through the park. There is a small parking lot.
Serene and beautiful. It is my favorite spot in all seasons. It is highly accessible with ample parking that allows me to get a break from work without having to go far. I even bring my clients there. All in all, it is a treasure nestled in the center of the city.
From the roadside it has the best views and almost pushes you to go and venture in. It was fall time when I succeeded to make it there due to its great attraction. The entrance was exotic but the trail didn't give the same sense. It was total beauty however..
To everyone saying there's no trail here......dig a little deeper!! There is a beautiful trail all along the water which takes a good hour to do, and if you go through the forest and follow the small trail, it comes out to probably the most
The trail is a bit narrow. Very quiet and not actively maintained. May need be careful especially when with kids and/or when raining. The park has a spacious ground for BBQ and activities. Everytime we go, we see a lot of people doing BBQ.
Scenic river side park near Britannia road. Very limited parking space approximately 10 cars. Watch out for bugs during summer season. Overall it’s beautiful almond credit river banks. Perfect for hiking and pet walk.
Flat meadow with some paths bordering the Credit River. Path from parking lot on Creditview Road passes over a small stream that may have an old skid to step on, otherwise it must be jumped.
It was a quiet afternoon we walked the riverside for about 20 minutes. Only passed two other groups of people going on the opposite direction. Hard to believe this is so close to the city.
Amazing area inside the city, nice walking trail along Credit River, saw a group of 3 deer, so nice that the Conservation Authority keeps the area in its natural state, highly recommended!
There is no designated trail, but it is right beside the river. There were lots of people fishing and boating, but no designated trail really so all the plants are touching you.
Same as river run park really nice trees and scenery but dead fish near bridge, live one's too that you see swimming. Nicer trails than river run for sure but less picnic spots
Nice nature paths both through wooded areas and through the meadow along the river. Peace and quiet, ideal for social distancing, rare human encounters depending of time of day
Not sure If if it was just me but my wife and I were unable to find any sort of discernable trail. Instead we zigzagged through the tall grass to try and find a way out.
No proper parking. Very Difficult to take a turn to the park from opposite way. No walking trail or sitting place near the river. Big bushes. No proper management.
I love this place for its natural beauty.. great place for a quick hike along the credit river in early spring! Never too crowded.. leads to a decent sized meadow!
This is where you can enjoy urban wilderness. We are the only ones hiking along the river. It is quiet and peaceful. Trail is muddy even though it's a fine day.
It's great. Its clean. Its huge. Skill level for hiking is maybe 3 out of 5 on difficulty. Trails can be hard to find. A good sense of direction will help here.
Nice little park with a trail that leads to a sizeable meadow. However, be careful of the poison ivy and stinging nettles along the path by the river!
Beautiful.. Only marred by litter. It's sad to see carelessness and selfishness. Let's be mindful to care for our beautiful nature, friends!
It is close by and beautiful, it would have got 5 stars accept people can't be bothered to use the garbage / recycling bins provided.
A small, quite park within the residential area of Credit Meadows in Mississauga.. has a long trail and well maintained
Nice little walk if you want to stretch your legs after some traffic or take some more time to follow the trails.
Great little hidden park. Unfortunately full of dogs off leash where owners have no control over them. Too bad.
Nice quiet park. The Credit river runs through. You can spot some deer if you're lucky during the evenings.
Not what I expected, a really small park, not maintained, a good hiding spot for couple …
When I used to smoke a lot this was the go to place nice river paths and just chill environment
Have been taking my Kids to this place for a long time, alway a fun quick hike close to home.
Great place to relax on an evening. Trail walks are great. Beautiful to view on fall colours.
The main entrance was closed due to construction and repairs. Otherwise, my kids loved it!!
A nice view of the river but maybe too muddy. Better to go early to get a parking spot.
Great trails! Lovely views! Spots to sit along the way. Please don't litter though :)
Best time to come is summer months. Interesting mix of people you will encounter!
Little gem in Streetsville area, path is pretty wild not recommend for kids.
Very enjoyable. Very nice trails. Looks beautiful in fall changing color.
Very peaceful and clean place for a walk.
Nice park along the Credit River.
Beautiful fall weather helps
