Dominique was a wonderful host, artfully balancing between being available when needed and respecting my privacy. This property is located in a safe, quiet neighbor within walking distance of the essentials and a short Uber/Lyft ride into the French Quarter. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, the Creole Cottage may not be for you. But, if you are looking for a clean, quiet, home-spun, New Orleans/European style Cottage, at a very reasonable rate, this IS definately the place for you.

Not within walking distance of downtown as I was hoping but I definitely do not regret my stay here.

Quiet, Great value
The next time I come to New Orleans, I’m staying here again. The owner was extremely nice and the room was comfortable. The location was great as week. We weren’t far from bourbon street as well as places to eat. The house was beautiful and clean!
Lovely house in a great location. The host, Dominique, is very welcoming. I can’t remember when I’ve had such a great stay.
