"Pro's: Ample parking Costco Service station next door Tyre fitting available Ability to return items without too much stress"
The main purpose of my visit was to get hearing aids. Costco are the best place in Sydney to get hearing aids. They professionally assess your hearing and their staff are friendly and courteous. My hearing aids function perfectly, I hardly realise they are there except for the improved hearing, they integrate well with my phone and laptop Bluetooth, and they are priced at a quarter or less of equivalent hearing aids from most other hearing centres in Sydney. Not only that, I get a 3 year warranty and my annual check-ups and replenishment of supplies are free during that time. The only reason this visit didn't get 5 stars is because the other products at Costco are often similarly or higher priced when compared to my local supermarkets. There are bargains, but you have to know what your local prices are to spot them.
Staff clean the trolleys when you get in. There is an amazing variety of international foods and goods. If you bulk shop then tis is the place for you. The salads, milk, bread, bakery items are all fresh and top quality. You can get lost but the space use is effective and helps you to find what you need and where that is. The food area works at a very fast pace as it gets busy. You may have to wait 10 minutes although as they get hammered by orders. The food is good quality. At the registers, they pack your cart for you and you can leave any heavy items in the cart. I love this shop and always go for a good bargain
Love shopping here. Know your supermarket prices & compare the difference. Yes you may have to buy in bulk, however fantastic for stocking your freezer or pantry to the gills. (Especially if you have a large family) & yes you do have to pay for a yearly membership, however if you're savvy, you will save!! Love the taste testing of food products & of course how can one not leave without the $6.99 BBQ chicken. To die for! It is also brilliant one stop shopping for virtually anything else from, tech, clothing, books, furniture, appliances, petrol or jewellery.
The availability of items and the prices are just great. Only concern is the staff on the counter. While nearly all counters where closed I've went to the only one counter with a customer and staff and one counter before me there were two team members chatting instead offering me the available space. When I started getting my items to the cashier where I was standing the lady was more interested in talking to fellow staff members about her coffee choice than to help me quickly finish my transaction. On a human level I was quite disappointed at this visit.
Pro's: Ample parking Costco Service station next door Tyre fitting available Ability to return items without too much stress. Cons: Check-out ques are toooooo long and move far too slowly! Lineup for petrol goes up the street and around the roundabout a lot of times. Staff at petrol station don't help with directing traffic flow inside station. People go through shopping area carpark to try and jump the que Infront of waiting customers. Staff allow truck drivers to use TWO bowser's to fill truck when management specifies they can't do it.
Costco Is always a great place to visit, but be prepared to spend. Household supplies are in bulk and prices are normally as good or better than specials at local supermarket. They also have other big electronics at good prices, jewellery, alcohol, clothes, and more. I like to say Costco tells you what to buy when you go, so unless you have god like self restraint you’ll spend. They also have canteen here, pizza slices are great and you can get a hotdog and drink for cheap. We always plan to get lunch on our visits to Costco.
Costco really is only worthwhile for large families. Portions of fresh food is crazy and could work for couples if they split items with friends. Personally fail to understand what the $60 membership fee actually gets you value wise. Although they do have some unique items, the majority of stock you can get at a competitive price elsewhere without membership. Also waiting long times to simply purchase your items isn't exactly a feature. Also having to load your own items exudes zero care to customers.
Costco provides the best value & deals specially if you have a big family, bigger quantity - more savings. Since I have a small family & a dog I mainly shop for eggs & dog food from Kirkland, so far the best for my Labrador including pro & pre - biotics with grain free. And I signed up for Costco fuel as it saves me min 30 cents per ltr. Bonus point is: it's only 3mins drive from where I live. So I highly recommend it.
Just another Costco. We visited with everyone else and had to cope with all the sightseeing non members. Our mistake. A retail model that has its flaws. No staff in departments to assist with questions about stock or products. Some aisles were dangerously blocked with excess stock that made it almost impossible for trolleys to pass. Certainly, disabled customers were restricted in whrre they could shop.
Do you like people leaving giant costco trolleys blocking thoroughfares while they line up for a free morsel of sausage, or a mother taking up 2/3 of the aisle wrangling six kids walking in a chorus line whilst her bald husband plays with his phone in a skin-tight shirt? You only have to youtube videos of what people in costco are like in Japan vs here to know how far behind some are.
A good place to shop for every day needs and other goods. Costco does have groceries, electronic items, meats and fishes, clothes and kids items. It is kind of one shop for all. When goodies are brought together, there are great discounts. Additionally in the fuel pump, the prices are cheaper than the outside pumps. I truly recommend this place for shopping.
The yearly membership is worth the price, simply because of the savings. We travel from Wollongong a few times a year and enjoy browsing the huge variety of products available, usually coming home with a bit more than was on the shopping list. So make some room on your spare shelves in the garage and stock up on those things you are often running out of.
Love Costco, great selection of products. We'll go there to get specific items but rarely leave without extras. Prices better than competitive, we save heaps especially on fuel. The $60 membership for 2 is retrieved in fuel alone, when 98 fuel was around $2 litre theirs was max $1.68, probably got mine back in 2 fills. My favourite shop.
Costco is great. Definitely a niche market. ALOT of products are overpriced in my opinion, especially since it's warehouse buying power should be much better than most of its competitors. But you can get things at Costco that you can't get elsewhere and this is the only reason I keep going back, but I am selective as to what I purchase.
Shopping good , lines are sometimes long. Fuel station has lines up to 30 minutes wait, suggest getting there at 6 am and you won't have to wait. Food court can have 10-15 minutes waits on a weekday, and the weekends are insane. Fuel prices are usually 20-50 cents a litre cheaper for premium 98 fuel than other places.
This really good place for shopping. We have all type of shop like furniture, food, house hold items, petrol station, groceries, bed & mattress and game place for kids. If we go to this centre we can purchase all house related items in one place. If you don't have car also bus stop near the center and bit convenient.
Very good for bulk buys and even normal day to day groceries as well, always plenty of special promotions available, but you have to be a member to shop there and membership is $60 for a year, weekends are normally very busy or try to get there early if you don't want wait in the long queue at the checkout.
Very busy and plenty of car parks. I am impressed by the large car space, and every time I go there, I manage to find a car park without stress. Good product and affordable price. Members only to shop at Costco. If you are not a member , the member service department can organise one quickly for you.
South West Sydney Brick Fair, attended by 'Sydlug' and 'Brick Built' was complete success. $10 entrance fee, Lego displays and sets available for purchase. Shop number for the Fair was not mentioned, Shop 22, on the left of Amart. Brick Built has multiple shows available as well as Sydlug.
Good array of large shops But go here as its the closest Costco to where I live Petrol always much cheaper there Big roast chickens on $7... 12 big muffins for $10 ,it appears that many business owners go to buy stuff and resell, You often see people buying up to 30 roast chickens...
Every Costco I've been to allows you to buy cooked food from their little cafe/canteen thing without a membership. These guys don't, refused entry when I tried to go there for lunch. There petrol isn't even the cheapest in the area so I have literally no reason to buy a membership.
Parking is always a waiting game. Do your research before you go, as some things are cheaper at Woolworths or Coles. The bakery is good, and the meat has always been great. The line up to the cashiers is always long. Give yourself time here as getting in and out is always arduous.
Crossroads Homemaker Centre is a shopper's haven! With a wide array of stores offering furniture, electronics, and more, it's a one-stop destination for home needs. Ample parking, easy navigation, and a food court for breaks. A convenient and diverse shopping experience for all.
Try to not said hate them But charge you a membership before you allowed to get in. Check out like you are criminal Like everyone stealing. All stuff not super cheap ok only sounds of it. No rewards program Think twice before you join Sick and tired too many people queue up
Amazing shopping centre! Have amazing deals and are always looking after people's needs! Food court isn't extreme but is very nice and has a lot of great take away places! The shopping centre is very big. Cool in heat and it's always clean! I will shop here again soon!
It's so cool first time visiting at costco was wonderful time to get dozens of stuffs either gaming chairs & razer keyboard with mouse. Or boxes of any groceries and snacks packs. You name it and it's there. I really hope the branches will expand more in Australia.
Prices are no less than anywhere else, higher in some items, they tell you what you can or can't have more than one item but only once they cheek you out. Hent you get checked in a long queue going out to make sure you pay for everything. Isn't that the regester.
Love their samples! Yay they are starting to come back again! Nothing but the best quality clothing and reasonably cheap too. However 1 star less for the fresh food as the use by date is only a couple of days and i am not sure if freezing would be suitable.
If you’re into bulk buy at a reasonable price than this is the place for you. They always have cheap fuel and there are so many things that you can’t usually buy in Australia, so this places a must for buying things that are largely on the American market.
It's Costco. Can get busy and can have decent queues for checkout/parking, but it's Costco. Deals are great, staff are amazing, the fast food is delicious, bakery and platters are phenomenal Great for cheap tech, clothing, homewares, as well as bulk foods
A great place. I am not far from their Fuel ⛽️ and they only sell PREMIUM DIESEL at the sharpest prices. The only Diesel product for light vehicles. You need to be a member but that’s $60 per year. Their other items are very sharp priced also. Nice Staff
Busy place, with bulk sized everything. Doesn't really work out that much cheaper, but you can still find some exceptional deals. Membership is required for entry and all purchases. Fuel is of good quality and usually cheaper than the market price.
Costco is great for bulk purchasing and pretty good array of food. Not as varied as regular supermarkets but if you.know your prices and specials you will find your bargains. Also has a decent variety of other goods and great for seasonal drops
It was very busy they have very convinet parking place to get prams out for my 4 month old big space to open doors with how the parking it used it was great with everything with the shortage of food in Australia so overall I would give it a 4.5
Opens at 10am, always a crowd waiting to get in but moves quickly. Good range of stock at reasonable prices. Costco's have got to change some of their rules when buying, eg 1 tray of eggs per customer but hot chickens, unlimited amount per
They sell alot of items in bulk.. but things like eggs, are only a few cents cheaper than woolies, not worth the 1.5hr trip and price of membership for alot of the items. But theres a few cool products you dont get to see at other shops,
Too crowded, everywhere, entry exit, fuel. Oh messy! But find a lot of item that buy bulk, eat bulk but not fresh. Chicken bought was hot but undercook, no flavour at all! All other brand items can buy at standard price; not cheaper.
I would go to costco a million times. Their croissants are the best. Very good choice of sheet cakes. Have tried lots of stuff and everything has been the best. I love the different kind of variety here as compared to other stores.
It's busy and some things are better stocked here compared to Auburn. But some things here aren't stocked here as well that you can get at Auburn. The parking is better here(if its not raining) and it feels less congested overall.
We love this place, everything is supersized, we come for the larger than life toilet paper and BBQ chickens. Where can u get a BBQ chicken for $6. This bird can easily feed a family of 4. Always cheaper fuel too. Worth to join.
Great store, I'm loving this place more than Auburn. They have recently made lots of changes, so I found that things are more organized the clothing section is my favorite and I'm always spending to much their. Love Costco!
My favorite place to shop and have a good time. One problem is that the phone in the income is not working. I think there is a glitch in the communication networks that needs development, but Cusco is a place that I trust.
Not a great shopping experience, to many rules about entering, processing sale. Lines are ridiculous on weekends so recommend going during week. Use it for what it's is because it's not a plesent experience.
First the parking was a joke I have a disability and not enough placers for disability access, then it was dog eat dog to move around we could not find what we won't it's better at Marsden Park
The regular Costco experience. Always works for bulk buyers. The fuel (Gasoline, as they like to say) for petrol 94 and 98 unleaded, and diesel are available for relative bargain.
Does Casula Crossroads Homemaker Centre have easy access public toilets? I don’t think so. Local councils should consider such in future large shopping district developments.
Huge range of products, at good prices, freshly baked cakes, also fruit and milk sections. Cooked chickens, great for catering. Plenty of free trolleys and huge parking area.
Dont ever go there to " try" to get fuel.vehicles everyeand start to block traffic from moving around. Traffic management needs to be in place to keep traffic free flowing
Its costco. Store is clean and everything labelled correctly. The store is always busy and the checkout is slow. Would like to see express lanes for 10 items or less.
This place is really busy at any time , Monday to Wednesday would be a better time in the morning to go there , I go because of the cheap hearing aid battery's.
They don't actually adhere to their own rules for certain events where certain guests get preference. Prices are good and the meat is great for large families.
Always work going on here lots of stores and while I understand work is needed it seems to be happening for years and hasn't seemed to move to quickly
Payed a visit to Costco located at the Crossroads Homemakers Complex. A great one stop shop for everything you need. A must visit bulk warehouse
It's good if you go there when it's not too busy. They have a fuel station there which is usually cheaper than most, but the wait can be long.
Good size warehouse. Plenty of car parking. Can get busy. You can get most of the stuff. Fresh produce and the buns and cakes are amazing.
It is good store but they don't allow members to enter if they don't have the physical card they don't accept digital one it is awkward
Great store and very affordable prices well worth the membership price and the petrol is 20 cents a litre cheaper than anywhere else.
I love this place. There are many retailers here. From chemist warehouse to Officeworks and rebels. There is something for everyone.
A good place for organized shopping, and there is a large free park. Please increase the internal lighting and the workers as well.
Been there once need to go back and learn more about the place. So far the shopping experience was good. Wait until we revisit...
Probably the best of the Costco's I've been too. Bit larger and a touch more organised. Plus the petrol is in the parking lot.
Lots of different stores to choose from, not just for furniture. There are bike stores, a gym, cafe, etc. Plenty of parking
Great range but know your prices from other stores before going as something arent as great of a buy as you may think
Consider leveraging the fuel station at Crossroads costco. I have been refilling from costco for about 4 years now.
Good pri eas cool shopping but problem carparking big problem they eed T kess duble the number of car parking.
Amazing place be prepared to spend hours looking around.bring your credit cards. But overall lots of products.
Found what I needed as always. Bunnings always has what ever is needed for any home Reno or gardening chore.
Not a huge range of stores, centre is split across an intersection so you need to drive to the other part.
Went to both Bunnings and Costco. Very well stocked stores. Plenty of parking. Something for everyone.
LOVEEEE Costco it's my Disney land and I love the pricing & it's getting better in product variety
I have been here once about 8 years ago, too many people for me but so much good stuff in here.
Big stores for anything you need. Need to be a register member to enjoy the facilities though.
Loved it! Great range of products at affordable prices helpful friendly staff & ample parking
Hi public i love doing shopping at Crossroads Homemaker and Shop keeper are friendly …
Great cheap food if you can't be bothered cooking. They do whole pizzas to take away too.
I go there for coffee but I love going here cause the employees are super nice …
I've love Costco it has everything you need in all varieties had a great Shopping day
Too crowded, shop , shop attendees jsut don't care, ended up just shopping online..
Really enjoyed myself even had lunch. Easy access, heaps of parking. Do recommend.
Chicken wasn't cooked properly. It was still red inside. Everything else was okay
Costco is very popular here ! It's big and has everything Costco is famous for.
Large store with plenty of parking and a massive range of products available
Always seem to find more stuff I need and spend to much but oh so worth it
Love this place. Great, easy parking, very easy to navigate through.
I come here to visit costco. I come for fuel and groceries. Love it!
Always enough parking and great shopping. Especially at Bunnings
Very crowded, slow check out. Otherwise a great place to shop.
Traffic can get crazy due to people waiting for cheaper duel
Perhaps the best homemaker Centre in Sydney. Got everything.
It is always a pleasure to visit the shops at the centre.
Costco can be good for some people but for others …
Enjoyed walking around and seeing a variety of stock
Costco fuel and planet fitness love this place
Large centre with plenty of shopping variety.
Affordable fuel but just as cheap elsewhere.
Very busy, plenty of parking. Lots of shops
Good quality meats with reasonable price.
Great buying experience...got everything.
Easy parking lots of things for everyone
