The Invisible Man: An extremely powerful story of a young Southern Negro, from his late high school days through three years of college to his life in Harlem. His early training prepared him for a life of humility before white men, but through injustices- large and small, he came to realize that he was an "invisible man". People saw in him only a reflection of their preconceived ideas of what he was, denied his individuality, and ultimately did not see him at all. This theme, which has implications far beyond the obvious racial parallel, is skillfully handled. The incidents of the story are wholly absorbing. The boy's dismissal from college because of an innocent mistake, his shocked reaction to the anonymity of the North and to Harlem, his nightmare experiences on a one-day job in a paint factory and in the hospital, his lightning success as the Harlem leader of a communistic organization known as the Brotherhood, his involvement in black versus white and black versus black clashes and his disillusion and understanding of his invisibility- all climax naturally in scenes of violence and riot, followed by a retreat which is both literal and figurative. Parts of this experience may have been told before, but never with such freshness, intensity and power. This is Ellison's first novel, but he has complete control of his story and his style. not much of astronomy or cosmology related books were available, some famous ones such as cosmos by carl sagan and astrophysics for people in hurry were expected to be there but couldn't find in any ahmedabad crossword stores , though found theory of everything and black holes by stephen h. books were in good shape (quality), hygiene factor was strong , organised shelves , no option for discount (saying this as a con as we r indians)

A good place for mind peace and books showcase spreadover ground and first floor. First floor is dedicated for kids books and toys / educational toys. They have small corner for reading where 4 people can sit and enjoy reading. However, I didn't find place to sit or small sitting while browsing books / it's content. They should keep mini sitting tables in between for browsing books.

A lovely store. A first preference when im in the area. They not only have a great collection of books but also a whole floor dedicated to stationery, bags, gifts, souvenirs and more. Even some tech and toys. Oh and the second floor has a sports section along with books. This is a one stop shop for all your needs. And they wrap your gifts with care and finesse for free! Love it.

This was such a great experience ! They have all kinds of books,novel and they even have mangas. The bookstore is not even a bit crowded .... So you can peacefully spent time there... And I really like that you can even read there !
