I was there for the weekly bicycle rides that happen in the mornings of Tuesdays Fridays Saturdays with tutoring on Mondays. I went on Friday and had a lot of fun plus the cardio of course. There are lots of tandem bikes, side by side bikes, hand pedal bikes and even wheelchair carrying bikes. At £5 a pop it was very very well worth it. There was a good looking sports field and track around it for competitive or leisure running or jogging, there also appeared to be a cricket practice netted off zone behind one of the football goalposts on the field. Don't know if they offer any other activities beyond what I saw and what I used but on another plus side, there was ample parking it's also just behind Croydon Arena tram stop. The is also a good green beside it where cross country joggers and dog walkers abound.

Very well taking care of, quite good size facilities such as football field, running Track, basketball court, gymnastics, car park...etc, plus it has amazing location, siding a huge park with beautiful landscaping, pond, play grounds, arena tram stop just of the arena car park, a cross the stop there’s golf course, as well not far away, you get Elmers end train and bus station, of that it’s 24hrs Tesco stores, and on the other side ( the park side) there’re tennis courts and function place.... it’s really amazing beautiful place packed with lots of activities .

Home of Croydon FC is a local council sports arena. This arena has a long jump track and pit, plus an eight lane running track, between the stand and the football pitch. This is too far for an intimate attachment to the game, especially as there is very little else built around the running track. The beverage vendor facility is very basic and the bar is equally as basic. However it is always enjoyable to watch football there. I particularly enjoyed hearing the bench and players moaning at the ref and each other, which you only hear at the lower league venues.

Step daughter sports day...wow took me back to mine. Happy days. School children, teachers, parents really enjoyed ourselves, nice day sunshine but little windy. There were fantastic athletes today. ‍♀️ Downside the seating area & changing room toilets really need updating. Well done for the achievements girls.

The home of the best Athletics club in Croydon (croydon harriers) feel so at home at this track. Friendly staff, friendly and inclusive athletics club. Training every Tuesday and Thursday. Also home of Croydon FC. Lovely flat and well kept pitch. Top notch groundsmen! Genuinely a great sports arena!!

Went to watch Croydon FC. Friendly club officials. Good clubhouse with TV and snack food. Draught lager and bottled beer. Clubhouse is up a staircase and difficult for wheelchair access without help. Arena has a good main stand with a hut selling hot drinks and snacks. Good terrace on opposite side.

Really nice looking sports track now that it has been done up. It now has turnstiles to keep people out. The grounds are nicely kept the grass and track. The only down point is the steps in the waiting area. The steps are very deep and narrow , be careful or you fall right over the edge!

Right next door to a newly built school which looks fab. The sports arena looks quite good the running track looks as it should. I think the stands could do with a little updating. I didn't see the changing facilities, but if I did that would have more of an influence on my review.

  • Ikram Munye

Very productive and can fit a whole of Year 7 to Year 9s in there! There's a running track, a sand pit for long jump, a shot put, javelin, high jump and discuss area. There is also a big stand that happens to have a really good view of the whole arena. Very good

Why this place playing music extremely so loud that you can hear it from 500 yards away, is this a rap club or sport place paid by our tax money and making locals life miserable? how corrupted is the council can be NOT to do about these loud music?

  • Maria Pascoal

It has had some improvements to it, I have not checked it out yet but they have school training times so I would advise to check for times before heading. So your training doesn't get interrupted but generally speaking a good place to train.

  • Klaudia Brzustowska

It wasnt the best as I went on tfl go they took the wrong way and the seating were falling apart than the sheds were actually not the best and the toilets were something else I had no phone coloma took it

Cycling for all Charity Wheels for Wellbeing hold cycling sessions here most Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays unless there's a School Sports Day on. Full Running Track with Harriers Running/Training & more..

  • Emmanuel Bakare

Good running track. Very good value for money when you become a member. Nothing bad to say about the facilities. Olympic champions have been produced from here. What more can we ask for?

  • Couchflyr World

Well connected by tram as well as buses the arena is a welcome addition to town residents and serves its purpose as facility available on rent to schools for annual sports meets etc

  • Jason Rouse

I only take a client with learning disabilities to the cycling but yeah it's good for that and gives others to exercise if they're into cycling well worth it. I would recommend it.

  • Ricky William James Broughton

A pleasant area where I get on and off the tram sometimes used as sports stadium and for football training I think as well as athletics i believe

  • Joe Mama

Almost broke my leg going down the ramp from the clubhouse. Some chicken wire on top of wet wood at a very steep angle... Recipe for disaster

  • Christopher Hunt

Outdoor circuit training experience. Good variety of activities, including bear crawls, squat jumps, step climbs, and planks of course.

  • Mark Smith

The main football pitch was in poor condition, and the slope of the pitch from the goallines is dangerous. The changing rooms are poor.

  • Nikki S

Should be 4 maybe 5 stars but it was very rundown which is a shame. Easily accessible as the tram is just behind and plenty of parking.

  • Gordon Carrothers

Very underwhelming. The entire place is in need of several coats of paint and a jet wash. It felt like I was in East Berlin in 1965

  • Ted

Went for school athletes in the afternoon Very good place Watch out for the surface if you slip. Will rip the skin from your bones

  • Daniel Bielecki
