"I can't recommend these guys enough for the service I just got, so if that's all the recommendation you need: Curbside's your guys"
"Simply OUTSTANDING customer service from Curbside Cycle, Toronto! From booking an appointment for Service online, bike drop-off and pick-up, each person I met from Curbside Cycle was friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful"
unimpressed with this place. i've been going here since january for bike repairs because it's close by. the staff seem friendly and knowledgable, but here's the thing. before i came here, i happily rode my bike for 1.5 years with zero flat tires. after a harsh winter, i paid over $100 for a full tune-up and new tires in january, expecting it to be smooth sailing for at least a while. since the tune-up in january, i've had 4 flat tires. so that's zero flat tires in 1.5 years, and 4 flat tires in 5 months since coming here. my fourth flat tire happened yesterday, two days after i paid $80 for the mechanic to fix the flat - he replaced the tube and sold me a "superior thicker tire" which is supposed to get no flats for at least a year. the mechanic told me that so many flats is just coincidence which i at first believed but now i'm thinking they don't do a thorough job. i don't know how to repair my bike which is why i pay a lot to someone who has the skillset to do so. i expect them to take the time to examine the wheel thoroughly instead of doing a quick fix but not accessing the root of the problem. after my courier roommate took a look at it, he quickly noticed that the cause of my flat was internal, not external. the spoke was jutting out of the rim and had pierced the tube from inside. nothing was embedded in the tire. I can’t say for sure but it seems very likely that the cause of all four of my flats this year was internal, thus why the flat kept recurring. the mechanics at curbside led me to believe it was always an external problem, riding over something sharp – i’ve now wasted my money on a new tire i didn’t need, and have paid for several flat fixes that could’ve been prevented had they addressed the actual problem in the first place. i'm tired of wasting money at a store that doesn't take the time and care to properly fix your bike. i won’t be coming back here.
Great service, and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Came here to buy a single speed/fixie today. The store is very neat, so it is really easy to find what you're looking for. Aaron came to help me over soon as he was done with a customer, and soon he offered me a test ride around the block, which was really nice. I really liked the bike, and as Aaron was leaving, Erik came to help me out with the purchase. Erik was also very friendly and polite, and made sure that I was being taken care of as a customer. Not only Erik, but all of the sales staff had that attitude, which I really appreciated. Erik asked me if I wanted a rear brake on my bike, to which I said yes, and he then told me that it was going to take around 45 minutes or less. I went out to buy some food, and came back 35 minutes later. My bike (The Juliet) was ready to ride, and the rear brake was fixed on it properly and stylishly as well (This was a hard/tricky thing to do according to me, since the Pure Fix is designed to only have a single front brake). I even get 2 free tune ups within one year from the purchase! Yay! The mechanic (Cuban guy, don't know his name) was also really nice and seemed really passionate about bikes, and his job also. You could tell from talking to him for 5 mins. Also, I was extremely thirsty since I had not drank any water for 3 hours, and Andrea, a salesperson there happily offered me a glass of water, which was really nice. Will be sure to visit again in the future. Oh, and the Pure Fix bikes are very fast and smooth as well! Be sure to check them out. Let's see how long mine lasts for!
Curbside Cycle special-ordered a Dutch Gazelle Orange Excellent Innergy bicycle for me. It is a fantastic bicycle, and I recommend it to anyone. That said, ordering a bicycle is one thing, providing service is another. Gazelle makes some of the best bikes on the planet, and because everything is internal they are almost maintenance-free, so problems are not common, but "almost" is not the same as "completely". Curbside Cycle’s service has always been stellar. While the bike is performing beautifully, I did have two flats, thanks to the low quality of the road/trail in the areas I use my bike. They replaced the tyres with a type better suited to my activities, and it has been smooth sailing ever since. The bike has not needed any maintenance since then, and is now almost four years old with 8,500 kilometers on the counter, going strong as ever. Attention to personal needs is great The people at Curbside Cycle never complained once about my antics with respect to saddle position. They listen to what I want, and do what they can to satisfy my desires. While my desires are of a type that would – for the most part – be considered rather common in Europe, they are often considered outlandish and even outrageous in North America, where comfort seems to have dropped out of the dictionary altogether. I wholeheartedly recommend Curbside Cycle to anyone, and on a personal note, I have every intention to remain a loyal customer.
I can't recommend these guys enough for the service I just got, so if that's all the recommendation you need: Curbside's your guys. Here's what happened to me though. Last week, my wheel fell out of true and I took it in for service. Like the previous times I'd been there, the guys were nice, made no fuss, and had it fixed a couple days later. On my ride out though, I noticed my tire was losing air, and by the time I got home, it was nearly flat. So, I came back today, assuming that they'd pushed a spoke too far through the nut and punctured the inner tube, and telling them as much. The guy who helped me out—Elie—completely apologized, kindly mounted the bike on a stand, and within thirty seconds, found two separate pieces of metal sticking into the tire that I'd happened to ride over. I immediately apologized for the accusation, feeling like a total idiot, but he laughed it off and said it was no trouble. He even fixed up my front light entirely of his own accord, and talked me into buying a kevlar back tire to stop additional punctures at a great price. I kept apologizing, he kept saying it was no trouble, and I walked out of the store 10 minutes later. All in all: you can't ask for better than that. Excellent, fast and quality service, with great people who know what they're doing and who they're dealing with. They're definitely my go-to bike repair place from now on. Thanks guys!
Simply OUTSTANDING customer service from Curbside Cycle, Toronto! From booking an appointment for Service online, bike drop-off and pick-up, each person I met from Curbside Cycle was friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful. What a rare and wonderful treat. Not to mention the finished product...I was told at drop-off that they'd have my 15-year old bike running "as good as new" when I got it back and they were 100% right! I was told exactly what was needed to be done, how much it would cost and when it would be ready. And they fulfilled each task exactly as promised. They are a great team of professionals, dedicated and highly-experienced who value each customer. It was a true pleasure dealing with Curbside Cycle and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to have their bike serviced or repaired. And now that my bike is truly running "like new", I have NO excuses anymore not to be riding it every chance I get. Thanks for that guys! :) Great job, great people, great value. Proud to support such an excellent local business such as yours. William B.
This is a review of my experience shopping with them online, I'm yet to visit them in store but the next time I'm in Toronto I definitely will. I placed an order for some bits and bobs to get my dynamo setup going. It shipped quickly and arrived within 5 days to the west coast. However, there was a bit of a mixup with the order. When I reached out about it, they replied practically instantly and offered two very good solutions. Within a day they had shipped the missing piece to me express, and it arrived a few days later. They were extremely apologetic about the mistake. I don't believe you should judge business's based on mistakes, because we all make them. I do judge businesses based on how they handle said mistakes and Curbside gets 5 stars for how they handled the slight mix up. The tone in their emails was super friendly and I felt the service was what I would have got if I'd shopped in person. They carry a lot of niche products that most LBS's wouldn't stock so I'm sure I'll be ordering again from them.
Don't bother going there if you want a quick repair around the busy season. I showed up with my broken tire and got turned away because they couldn't offer a tire replacement on the spot. This dude said he could change the tube but not the tire because they're "too swamped" and "got other things to do first" but I could leave my bike there and pick it up in SIX DAYS. Seriously for a tire replacement?? It could've been done while they were explaining how busy they were. They could do a better job quickly judging what a customer needs and if they should get turned away or not in the first place, rather than directing them to the backyard without asking proper questions and having them waste their time. Waiting in the sun for 10+ minutes only to find out they'll do nothing for you is not fun. I got the work done right away at this other shop on Dupont and Christie.
Curbside is one of my two favourite bike shops in Toronto. The shop is small, and the limited floor space reflects their two sales specialties: cargo bikes and (oh-so-tempting) Brompton folding bikes; the rest goes to urban bikes. The selection of parts and accessories is of necessity small but good quality, and they will order stuff in for you when needed. The senior sales staff are super friendly and knowledgable, and never snooty in that old-school macho bike store way. (That's part of the business's DNA: it literally started out as a curbside repair stand on the street.) But the shop's secret weapon is Eli, the head mechanic. He is beyond fabulous: any work he does is going to be perfect, and you feel that he treats every bike as if it were his own. In spring and summer they get very busy, but their on-line appointment system for tune-ups works well.
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about the quality of care and generosity I received from Curbside Cycle. It was my first time purchasing a Riese & Müller eBike and I was taken VERY good care of. At first I was informed that the ebike I was looking for was all sold out, but a week later I was contacted by Timm (Director of Operations) and updated that he had one available. I know how busy they are over there, so I really appreciated the update and good news. Their communication was excellent, and the bike was assembled and waiting for me.. what a BEAUTY. All of the staff were warm and friendly, and the shop is clean and well organized. I was anxious making such a large purchase, but it feels reaaally good to know that I'm in good hands should anything go wrong with my bike, Curbside Cycle and Riese & Müller WILL have my back. WOOOOO WOOOOO!!!! RESPECT THE NAME!!!
Curbside was my fourth stop in search of a reasonably priced bike. I was getting fed of the upselling and BS to get me to spend more. I would ask for a bike within my budget and get all kinds of negative feedback. It got annoying by the 3rd bike store stop and noticed a pattern. They have a bait bike (a reasonably priced bike) to get you to inquire but usually not in stock or totally give u negative feedback with a pinch of condescending tone and push you a higher priced bike. Supposedly if you ride everyday, a $500 bike will not last and fall apart if you use it everyday. That boggled my mind, haha. Finally at Curbside, they showed me what I asked for and told me its a bike to get you around with decent components (plastic pedals only negative)and would be fine with proper care, if you like it, GO FOR IT!!!... And I did, hahaha.
I found Curbside when I lived in the Annex 8 years ago and it's been my go-to bike shop ever since (despite living adjacent Bikes on Wheels now). I have purchased bikes (2 x linus and 2x bromtpon), bags, lights, helmets, locks and everything else from Curbside over the years. Eric, Aaron, Rama and the rest of the team are very knowledgable about their products and only sell brands that stand up to everyday use. Plus, who else has such crazy sales once a year like Black Saturday?! When I do need a repair made to one of my bikes, Eli in the shop has been great to deal with and knows tons about Brompton's (probably the most knowledgeable Brompton mechanic in the city). If you haven't ridden a Brompton, get in there and try one. It's the best bike to use for multi-modal commuting around the city (in my opinion).
I have pre-ordered my Brompton and it arrived in a top notch condition. They did a wonderful service during the "limbo" due to the long delays for Bromptons and kept me as updated as they could, every time I asked. As you may know, the supply chain is in crisis since the pandemic has started, especially for bikes orders from Europe. The staff was super nice and friendly. They did an extra mile by giving me an awesome freebie for the wait and the delivery was super fast once they had the bike in their shop. I have bought several accessories from them as well and I would totally recommend them if you plan on buying a Brompton or accessories. Totally worth every penny I have spent. Plus, their mechanics are really skillfull and friendly, thanks Eli! Would buy again in the future for sure!
Bought online - Timm was amazing! Extremely responsive - it blew me away to get emails from an actual person. Not only that, he was actively helpful! I had multiple orders, and he consolidate them onto a single invoice and saved me on shipping - and even noticed that I bought a pump that was already included with my bike. All of this on a holiday! Top it off with basically next day shipping - to a different city no less - and I'm blown away. This was a fundamentally better experience than buying on Amazon, and I can't wait to try out my new wheels. Will definitely shop here again whenever I need anything bike related - they are super knowledgable and eager to ask questions. Tell your friends - I know I will!
This bike shop is run by people who care deeply about bicycles and cycling in general. They make it fun to buy a bike. The bicycle is the elegant invention. Curbside brings in products (even designing some bicycles for Torontonians!) that make elegant bicycling possible. I've shopped a fair bit at this shop and don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a bicycle...especially people who are looking into bicycling as an alternative to the TTC and driving. Also, they are blessed with some of this city's most talented bike mechanics. Don't hesitate to check Curbside out for your spring bike shopping.
We ordered an electric bike from Curbside Cycle and from the beginning the service was really good! We had to make some changes to our order prior to it being shipped to Calgary and they accommodated all our requests. We primarily dealt with Sahil and he was really great! Our bike actually did arrive with a few damaged parts (due to an issue with the transport company) and Curbside Cycle dealt with the issues and replaced all of the damaged parts with new ones right away even though this was right before the holidays. We are really happy with our purchase and how everything was handled by Curbside Cycle.
Outstanding customer service from Lorris at Curbside Cycle! I went in for a Brompton test ride and everything went easy and smoothly. I had a lot of knowledge about the bikes already but I left with learning something new! Very knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to chat with. Although I decided to buy second hand, I will most definitely come back for future tune ups to support this business. An authorized Brompton seller you can trust. Cute shop with a variety of different bikes, but their stock of Bromptons was the most impressive. All the best to everyone at Curbside Cycle
Great service from Curbside Cycle straight from the get-go. I'd say if you're going to buy a bike from anywhere, buy it from here. The staff are super friendly, and help you find a bike that works best for you. Not only that, but for an additional small fee, they'll put the bike together for you, and have it ready to ride and at your door, if you so choose. This makes it super easy to get going, and start your new bike journey on the right foot. Very satisfied with Curbside Cycle, and will continue to support the business as best I can.
Outstanding service, quality brands and fair prices. A while ago I contacted Curbside with a product question and received a prompt, clear and cheerful reply. This week I used their online ordering. My order qualified for free shipping (>$150). Curbside shipped the items the same day and I received the package two days later, even though I live well outside of southern Ontario. The items were as promised and well packed. In future, Curbside Cycle will be a primary website I check when I need something for my ebike.
I was having trouble with my dutch bikes gears after a disastrous tire installation at another shop. what a pleasure to deal with cycle professionals. full inspection revealed the issue and if i hadn't decided to treat the cruiser to some TLC i could have been on my way immediately. the bike was ready a day early and rides again like the wind lol . the cost was exactly as stated(freakishly reasonable)and they even fixed my dutch bell that was bent...thanks elie dutch bike owners...this is your shop!!!!
I came in to buy a Brompton. Aaron was very patient and friendly. He took the time to explain the different models and demonstrate how the folding mechanism worked. I tested out three models and left with the bike, a bag and two lights. The whole process must have taken close to an hour but I never felt rushed. The store is nicely organized and not overrun with clutter like some other bike shops. I got a great vibe from the store and would recommend it without hesitation.
Have you ever been stuck behind a FedEx truck parked in a bike lane? Forced to dangerously merge in traffic because a FedEx driver parked illegally? Well curbside helped outfit FedEx with a fleet of motorized cargo bikes that will now clog our bike lanes. So anytime a FedEx cargo bike rushes past you or cuts you off or leaves their bike parked in an unsafe place, thank Curbside cycles! They're the ones who made it happen.
Went there for the first time today to figure out my biking needs -- size, style, etc. Patient explanation of different types of bikes, and models. And with honesty. I picked out a model I was thinking about. I was essentially told, this is a fair bang for the buck, not great, but fair. And since I didn't want to spend more I really appreciated the honest assessment of my choice. Soft sell; not at all pushy.
The best bike shop in Toronto. They have rather small selection of folding, hybrid and city bikes but those are all great quality bikes that you can trust. They also have amazing accessories for bikes. I bought basket and lack for my bike and the staff was so confident and proud of what they have. I will definitely get more. Tune up and repair prices are reasonable and fast. Will definitely going back.
My wife and I came in looking to purchase two bikes, one for the each of us and we were extremely happy with the customer service. Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and kind and we didn't feel pressured or rushed into anything. Bikes were also ready alot quicker than we were told which was a nice surprise. Thank you to the staff and everyone who helped. This is how you run a successful business.
Finally got my Brompton online, yes it takes a while, still received it in Quebec before the promised date. They are hard to find during this pandemic era. They've made the final tweaks before shipping, boxed it and arrived in perfect condition. I have visited their very busy shop last week without an appointment, took a chance, and got immediate flawless service. Thanks you guys are the best.
The bike I own currently was bought at Curbside Cycle in 2012. I have always loved visiting this shop. The employees clearly enjoy working there - so much that I wish I worked there! I live a little far for convenience right now, but when bigger cycling-related expenses come up, I would be happy to drop more mad cash on Curbside. You should visit just to enjoy the atmosphere.
It's difficult to buy a bike during this pandemic. Curbside cycle made it possible for me to acquire this sexy piece of aluminum named Red Wanda and give it to my hubby for his birthday. The purchase required some patience but I believe this was the best possible bike purchasing situation. Go check out their website for all the details on how to lock down your next ride.
Very friendly staff, though I stood outside while 3 staff members took turns noticing I was there but didn't approach me to see if I needed help, maybe this had something to do with unique COVID-19 measures. I had my bike repaired here, they did great work, rides beautifully, quick turn around as well. If you're in the area, this is a great bike shop to check out!
I've been a Curbside customer for the past three years and I still love the bike I bought here. The staff are helpful and friendly and the mechanics are honest and hard-working. They treat every bike like it's their own and have always gone above and beyond to fix my bike and to explain to me what they did. They even fixed my flat super quick on a busy day!
Beware of being up-sold. I had considered this shop to be my go-to shop but my past service involved four re-visits to get a rectification on something that didn’t exist before I got my bike serviced. All their mechanics did was throw new parts at the problem and the problem remains unresolved. This is just like another bike shop trying to make a sale.
Just brought my "baby" home from Curbside'. The staff is knowledgeable and relentlessly helpful and attentive. I received advice, not only about the bicycle, but about the myriad of peripherals I wanted, without any unnecessary upselling. I waked out (rode out) feeling awesome about my purchase. Thanks to everyone who helped me out. (All five of you).
Curbside Cycle is THE BEST! Their customer service is on point. Seriously don’t waste your time going anywhere else. I bought a bike lock from them and someone tried to tamper with it to steal my bike. I told them what happened and they offered me the same product at a generous discounted rate. I love Curbside Cycle and I don’t even live in Toronto!
We bought Brompton bikes from Curbside Cycle last summer. It has been a great experience dealing with sales and service teams. Neve and Michael were very helpful with ordering our bikes and additional accessories. Service mechanic Eli is amazing. He answers our endless questions patiently and addresses our concerns along the way. Thank you all!
Excellent customer experience for many years. I have purchased unique European bikes (Bobbin & Fahrradmanufaktur) from Curbside which both have been excellent choices. Any issues, Eli the tech will get you right on your way again. Overall, extremely positive experience and will always be back for future bike purchases and top notch service!
Curbside was able to supply me with some hard-to-get parts for my bike. I can't recommend them more highly. I had initially ordered the wrong part - they took them back, found the right ones, offered useful advice on the repair, and took back the original order. All through emails and the tender mercy of UPS. Hats off to Curbside Cycle!
I haven’t been to their store, but I did order from them online and had a positive experience. Communication was great, responsive, and they accommodated my small order to be mailed to the U.S. which arrived in a timely manner. Curbside has specialty Brompton mod parts that are not east to find in the U.S. Thank you for your service.
I found the Curbside Cycle staff resourceful and knowledgeable. I lost the rear wheel skewer while transporting my bike downtown. I pulled in the store, described the missing part, and they provided a replacement part and put me back on the road within two (2) minutes! They rescued my trip, great job by Kevin at Curbside Cycle.
After three years of problems with my gear hub (which my old bike mechanic couldn't fix after multiple expensive, lengthy shop visits) the guys at Curbside diagnosed the problem in seconds, and the repair bill was $15.00. I've had no further problems and couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend for internal hub gear repairs.
One of my favourite bicycle shops in the GTA. Knowledgable and friendly staff and a different selection of some bikes and gear. I enjoy going in just to look around and see what fun knew stock they have in store. Definitely a bike shop to check out if you are in the search for a bike or some gear or just want to have some fun.
Came in for a sales appointment and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Extremely knowledgeable about all their bikes and found one that fits my needs and completely blew me away. No pressure during the appointment to buy as well which is always welcome. Can’t wait to come pick my new bike up in the next few weeks!
I had to get a flat tire fixed, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful (and patient, considering I didn’t really know what I was doing and was a bit slow on the uptake)! Cost $25 tax inclusive, and the turnaround time was less than an hour. Definitely will be coming here in the future for all bike-related needs.
The staff at Curbside are always friendly and helpful. If you are in the market for a bike make sure to swing by! Nicole (Nic) at the shop was happy to help and had a lot of patience with us trying all the bikes. We walked away with a Brompton (folding bike) and we're super happy with the purchase and service!
Such a great bike shop. I bought a Devinci Milano here in 2018 and have been really happy with it. Highly skilled and knowledgeable mechanics that explain what they'll be working on and how to take good care of your bike. I love that they stock Canadian designed and made bikes that keep you mobile year-round.
Not a community minded bike shop. Needed to borrow pedal wrench in shop, ie not taking it out. They said dont lend tools. Its impossible to do anything bad to pedal wrench. Very unhelpful shop. One star is to many, so many other shops want to be helpful. Batemans, bikes on wheels, urbane. All friendlier
I recently purchased a Brompton (yes!) model S3 Black from them. The service is friendly and adequate. The best of all is the very helpful mechanic (Elieser Lopez). He is a blast!!!! So fast, so professional and so friendly. He loves his job and loves to help the client. He makes this shop special.
I would strongly recommend this place, I was doing UberEats and my bike got flat tire, when i came here it was almost closing time but they still worked extra 30 minutes and fixed my bike. The guy in the repairing part is very helpfull and talented and the staff was very friendly and supportive.
Amazing customer service even through a pandemic in the middle of winter and for a bike that was shipped across the country. Sahil went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue with the transport company. Overall awesome company to deal with and we couldn't be happier with our cargo bike.
I purchased a babboe city mountain ebike there. Received it after 9 working days, delivered to Montréal. Great item. My kids and myself are crazy about it. Took the ready to ride option. I strongly suggest an electric bike for Montréal, going up hill with cargo can tire you up pretty fast.
went in today looking for used bikes. They didn't have any, but Kevin showed me their collection patiently and offered so much information without pushing anything, great guy! Honestly it was one of the best experiences I had with walking in a random store and asking about their stuff.
Timm and Ainsley helped me buy my dream Brompton bike last month. They were super friendly and patient and worked with my budget. The bike exceeded my expectations. Last week I ordered a bag and other accessories and Sahil delivered them to me same day at no charge. Highly recommend!
The BEST customer service! Emily from Curbside Cycle was courteous, prompt, patient, and very friendly! Super grateful for the excellent customer service. Emily also went the extra mile, introducing me to someone who was an expert in Brompton bikes to answer my questions. Thank you!
Ok, I sort of stumbled on Curbside during this C-19 crisis - no previous experience. My Devinci Oslo was desperately in need of a serious tune up. Took it in, friendly service man told me exactly what needed doing - picked it up today, test ride completed, like a new bike. Thanks!
Great service! When my bike had a failure after a year of use they went the extra mile to ensure that the manufacturer honor the warranty. Would certainly recommend them if you want a bike and the knowledge that someone’s got your back in the unlikely event that there’s an issue.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff and mechanics. Very nice gear and often the only place in TOronto to carry some stuff. Discount for Cycle TO members. They’ve got a crazy bike elevator in the alley they use to hoist bikes to 3rd floor shop. Pretty neat. Bloor bike lane adjacent.
Super nice bike shop. I brought my bike in for a brake job. The mechanic pointed out some other parts that needed replacing or adjusting, which was appreciated. On checkout, I had an issue with my gift certificate. The team sorted out the issue straight away, no hassle. Thanks!
One of the best bike shops in the city. Excellent customer service, and knowledgable kind, staff (Nathan and Eric are top-notch guys)! Good selection of beautiful bikes that you can't find elsewhere in Toronto, including Bromptons, Achielles, and Simcoes. I highly recommend!
Excellent customer service! From purchase to user support, they are patient and very responsive. I’m all about supporting your local bike shop, but if you’re in their neighbourhood, you must check them out. They carry a well curated line of products, from high end to budget.
I bought my 1st Brompton folding bike in this store today. The staff are very friendly. Mike(sorry if I got your name wrong) was very informative and explained everything in plain English I could understand during my stay, so thank you. Definitely would recommend to others.
Fantastic service; arrived an hour and a half late to my appointment to a bust store and the still got my belt drive onto the bike with nothing but kindness and smiles. The bike rides great and I cannot be thankful enough to Timm and team for the whole customer experience.
This is my very first review ever but i thought id take the time to compliment the staff. Great guys, accommodating and professional. Needed a couple of things installed and was on a strict time line. Everyone accommodated and was really helpful. I will definitely be back.
This is now my go to bike place. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I've never bought a bike there (only bought parts, accessories, and a repair), but if I ever do get a new one, I'll get it here. I also had a warranty fix for a pump with no hassle whatsoever.
Great bike shop. My girlfriend bought her bike here. The staff are pretty passionate, and, according to her, all quite handsome. Heh. The mechanic is knowledgeable and their customer service is top notch. Too bad I live in the East End, or I'd go here more frequently.
Picked up a Brompton at Curbside Cycle. Everyone was super. The service was great and the professionalism made buying here a no Brainer. Special thanks to Eli, Tim and Ainsley. My dog even had a great time. Will be buying here again and referring friends. Thanks
We had the best experience at Curbside Cycle. Their knowledgeable team and great selection was worth a long drive to test ride some cargo bikes/trikes. Eric was fantastic to work with and helped us buy the perfect bike for our family. Can’t recommend enough.
Interesting selection, but I came in here once looking for help on a bike seat for my toddler and pretty much got ignored. Perhaps its the hipster vibe that permeates this place. I went across the street and actually got greeted and never looked back since.
Great local shop, in Toronto. Rented a bike for a week working in town. Reason for 5 stars: the bike I rented had a broken lock and within 30 minutes, one of the staff rode down to the space I'm working at and replaced the broken lock. Now, that's service.
Girlfriend and I ordered two bikes. Really impressed with the quality of the bikes and the service. We did a few test drives of different bikes, staff was really friendly and spent a bunch of time with us to answer questions, whole experience was 10 / 10.
Just popped in this afternoon to pick up my bike that I bought online from them. They were so great making sure my bike was good and ready, and setting me up with a better bike lock. So friendly, easy going and easy to talk to haha Thanks again! …
Went in to buy a Brooks bag.... was so impressed with the service that I ended up buying a Brompton folding bicycle too. Great selection of biking goodies, knowledgable staff and very patient! Thanks for the wonderful experience. Mario, from Montreal.
Curbside cycle is the best bike shop in Toronto hands down. The employees are extremely friendly, service is always prompt and exactly what you asked for. Plus they have great coffee in case you want to buy some. My favourite bike shop in the city.
Just bough a brompton online (during the pandemic) and I had an excellent experience throughout the whole process. I live in Montreal ant it took +- 3 days to get my bike (super fast). Also it had the best price at the moment within Canada.
US customer. I worked with Curbside Cycle to get my custom Achielle Oscar. I elected to use their Ride Out the Box shipping. Great service. Great communication. Great team. Love the bike and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Curbside again.
I had a great experience with this place. The stuff is super responsive. Despite the high demand on bikes, I was able to find most of accessories I needed for my Brompton. Can’t wait to visit them again when in-store shopping is allowed.
These people are terrific. From now on all my repairs, parts and new stuff comes from them. They really care. Really really. Thanks for ordering my new bike and looking after all the details in these difficult times. Stay safe.
The best folks around! I live out of town, but Curbside Cycles is the only retailer of my cargo bike so I am in regular contact for accessories and parts. They have even helped me trouble shoot issues with my bike over email!
If you are interested in a bike made for cities, then this is THE place to visit. I bought a Brompton folding bike a year ago, and it has been a complete game changer for me. Staff members are extremely helpful and friendly.
Close to my clinic, I needed a few flat tubes repaired - they were fast, friendly, curteous, and helped me learn WHY my flats happened (hot walls and hot summers aren't friendly to well inflated tubes...). GREAT annex spot !
Without a doubt, the best place in the city for bikes. I've never experienced customer service like this.. Eric saved me so many headaches I can't even begin to express my gratitude. Thanks guys for everything! Keep it up.
Got a flat for the 2nd time in 2 days - clearly something was amiss. Brought my bike in an was immediately helped by friendly staff and was up and rolling in no time! Fantastic customer service and definitely made my day.
Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Curbside. Eric gave me all the information I needed to make an informed choice. Was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend. First time visit, lifelong customer:)
I've been dealing with Timm, although the entire crew has been very helpful at curbside cycle. Recently purchased a couple of cargo bikes for the family, I would definitely recommend these guys to friends and family.
Honest, genuine, friendly and professional staffs and mechanics. over getting many services from this shop, I really grew big trust in them. I'd like to thank the mechanics for always solving problems especially Eli.
I order baby bike seat. Everything fit well, I love it. Shipping was super fast to Vancouver,I just ordered and same day they collect and send for delivery. Thank you so much for great price and fast shipping
Curbside Cycle gave a free cateye bike light and a 5% discount on Brompton orders in September that got delayed. Thank you for taking care of your customers. Will order another Brompton from store again.
Excellent service, well-rounded selection, fair prices. High quality accessories, many from the Netherlands. Bought two stellar Toronto-designed Simcoe bikes from them over the years. Highly recommended.
I needed to replace a nut that had fallen of my child's bike. The person who helped me was extremely nice and gave me a spare one free of charge. Very impressed and will go back when another need arises.
This shop is great! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. My bike was put together way ahead of when they told me it would be ready. Definitely recommend Curbside Cycle and I will be back for sure.
My favourite bike shop in the city, and definitely the friendliest! Amazing products and prices, and no snobby attitude like sooooo many other shops (biggest factor for me). Love Curbside!
Eric was very helpful during my sales appointment and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this bike shop. The staff were very diligent with masking and keeping social distance.
ive only had my bike serviced here, but the mechanic always does a great job and oftem throw in small jobs for free too! plus the turnaround is usually shorter compared to other shops!
These guys rock, always order my Brompton and brooks parts, always helpful on the phone and expert advice....price is great and they offer free shipping....thanks guys♂️ …
I ordered a bike I couldn't find in Montréal. Change a bit my order with no problem. My bike was shipped fast. Only short delay was because of UPS. Very happy with my Brompton!
Staff are great. Prices are excellent. They really care about their level of service; will be a customer for life even though we have moved out of the neighbourhood years ago.
My wife just bought a beautiful Linus bike here. The gentleman helping us was so friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely passionate about cycling. Highly recommend this store.
Amazing customer service. The repair shop saw that I was in a bit of a jam and got my bike out to me in an hour. Real professionals. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Dealt with 5 or 6 sales people and 2 mechanics in the past year. All of them are extremely approachable and knowledgable. Competitive prices and an overall great place to go!
Friendly staff. Great mechanics. Free air in the back. They have done minor repairs for my kids bikes at no charge on several occasions. I really like this shop.
These folks are the absolute best - Super knowledgeable, friendly, and amazing customer service! They really know their stuff and only carry the best products.
Amazing service from these guys. I always get good, honest and fair advice. Specialists in Brompton cycles. Must be the best Brompton dealor in North America.
