Left 2019 with an empty wallet and unwanted hair. Called to book an appointment with WPS and spoke to a woman on the phone about booking with someone in a similar hair interests to redo the ombre highlight on my hair. Fast forward to my appointment,and without any prior precursor, I was greeted by a JUNIOR Hair Stylist. I provided a sample image of what I wanted (see 2nd pic); reiterating my hair required cool, violet colors as my hair pulls INSANE amounts of warmth. After 20 minutes of deliberation, another woman came by to look at my hair and to observe if what my stylist was planning to do would work. After 3 hours in the chair with almost no conversation had, I went home at 9pm with hair looking like a monotone brunette (see 3rd pic). Paid $230. I called back the next day to request a correction as the ombre was... well, non existent. After another 2.5 hours in the chair, I left with my hair having WARM blonde highlights. I specifically remember my stylist telling me she was using demi colour and it would fade brighter over time. At the end of the appointment I was stopped at the till and handed another bill for $100. After a literal argument with the owner about the expectation to pay an all around $330+ for underwhelming hair and 5.5 hours of total service time. I reluctantly agreed to pay for the blow dry portion ($30) and left without a good bye. Well, here we are, January 17th and my hair is orange (see pic 1)! No way am I calling back to blow more money on a correction for an appointment from November yet again... Thanks for the empty wallet and a newly scheduled appointment with a DIFFERENT Salon. Based on the customer service, the pricing and lack of LISTENING to customer needs, I DO NOT recommend this salon. There's enough places to go in this economy that go above and beyond for customer retention - not here.

I had a similar package deal as Kayla , mine was a five different spa treatments , th five times you go there, I live in the NW and this spa is located in the south. I showed up ten mins late and I even called them to let them know I would be late. On the phone they said they were willing to give me services but when I arrived they totally declined me and told me to come back some other time . I wanted to speak with their manager , they gave me the front desk number and I went outside and called the number. My sister in law was inside the spa and saw them pick up the Call at the front desk . The same woman I had talked to previously picked up the phone... they totally lied to me saying the number was to contact the manager.. I went there to give my sister in law a treat since she was new to Calgary but they were so rude beyond belief and embrassed me in front of my sister in law. I paid 70 dollars for the package deal and I never went agian after the way they treated me. I have been to so many salons , they always take me in even if I’m late. They were just pissed cause I bought the package deal and I wasn’t going to pay more. This salon will treat you nicely if you pay more for your services. They truly don’t care about their customers . I went to chatters in crowfoot and the lady truly cared. The perm didn’t come out right the first time so she gave me a free perm the second time. It’s that kind of customer service I appreciate not these money hungry bussiness... I don’t recommend anyone going here...

I used to love this place but my last experience completely changed that for me. I got a shellac spa pedicure before my vacation awhile ago which is not cheap. During the pedicure my pedicurist held the UV light wrong and it burned me. Then when I got home I looked closely at my feet and it was the sloppiest pedicure I've ever had. There was nail polish on my skin and the there were parts of the nail that was missing polish. Considering the amount that I paid I expected to receive a professional pedicure but this was miles short of it. I recently went to a different place for a pedicure which was much more professional and cheaper. I will not be returning here as their standard does not measure up to the amount of money they charge.

I highly recommend seeing Lois. She addresses your hair concerns and listens to what you are wanting. Her colouring skills are absolutely amazing. I always leave the salon feeling like I was listened to and got exactly what I asked for. In saying that, Lois will always proceed with caution when colouring and does so in the healthiest way not creating damage. My hair was quite damaged from having a weave for 7 years and bleaching it for 10 plus years. Now, in lois’s hands I see and feel the improvement I haven’t felt in a very long time ! You must go see her !

I would not recommend this place whatsoever and would give it a 0 if I could. I made an appointment for balayage and the girl who did it didn’t blend it so I have a very noticeable straight line between dark and light. It’s also very yellow and brassy so I called right away to get it fixed. I went back the next day and they said it would cost me more money to correct it and tried to argue that it wasn’t brassy when it very obviously is. I’m incredibly disappointed. Not just with how it turned out but that how they handled it afterwards. Do not recommend.

I stopped in recently to sharpen shears for Grace, Ronda, Magee and Iwona. Customers can rest assured the stylists shears will not contribute to split ends after having their shears sharpened. The sharpened shears also allows the stylists to focus on the sculpting your hair rather than fighting with their tools. It is such a pleasure to interact with the stylists at Curious Hair. They ask the right questions and discuss how to move forward with any plans or issues.

Magee at curious willow park has provided me excellent service multiple times. I have had multiple fantastic haircuts in addition to highlighting and styling services. She has done highlights on me and they have been the best I’ve ever had. The grow out has been fantastic and she has suggested certain toners and treatments to keep my hair looking great. I will continue to return as I trust her with my hair. Thank you Magee

Magee absolutely SAVED my hair after a dreadful nightmare hair transformation (blonde is from before, brunette is after Magee). She has excellent communication and clarifies everything before starting so you know exactly what is happening to your hair. She brought my vision to life and when she didn’t think it was quite right, went in on my hair again to make sure it was perfect!!! Absolutely recommend.
