"Called customer service on Boxing Day to ask for a refund for a faulty product (noise cancelling headphones) bought online on 27 Nov as a Xmas present for my daughter, but as it was outside their 30 day refund policy was only offered an exchange"
If I could give them a minus if I would. I went in-store to purchase a TV. Turns out even though I was physically in store it was an online purchase. When it arrived damaged I had to deal with multiple phone teams. When they were booked to pick up the TV I got a text message saying it wasn't ready when they arrived. No one came I was home all day. More phonecalls more multiple teams. Then I got told to take it back to store to get refund which I did. Guess what I was told off by a staff member "it is my job but you don't have talk to me like that" What had I said. When I carried in the TV I asked if it was possible to be dealt with quickly as I had a cab waiting he indicated a woman sitting on a stool and said she will deal with you. Then I got told off by him and then he stomped off, don't worry he didn't risk his back by offering any assistance with carrying the TV. End of story after giving all my details again, offering to show the order, nope not interested can't find your order, you can request an online refund. I was just exhausted and upset. I said I'm not taking it home again so walked out leaving the TV. Tried the online after telling them I had left it in store they arranged to pick it up from home. Unreal. Save your money and your stress please do not deal with this company. Unreal.

This store is always “under staffed”. I knew exactly what I wanted and took in a TV bracket to ask if it will be compatible. Firstly, there was only one staff in the TV section and she was serving a family before mine. She after a while went through the back room and I never saw her again until I was at the tills for payment where she finished her shift. The family in front of us left after 15 mins or so and after half an hour or so a staff on tills helped saw us waiting and helped us out whilst getting an order for another customer. The till staff was very helpful as I had some issues with my Love2Shop gift card during purchase. Be prepared to wait around if you are visiting this store.
I was there with my family, and we had to experience the worst from none other than the store manager Chris. He had an attitude of a thug-like-rude man rather than a decent trained customer centric manager. I have been to many other Curry's shops and other retail stores where I never had to experience anything like that. We were looking for an assistance and called for one with raising a hand to be noticed- as the store is big. While we were ignored by the store manager at first two attempts, he then shouted out and I quote "I saw you and I heard you, you don't have to call".
Called customer service on Boxing Day to ask for a refund for a faulty product (noise cancelling headphones) bought online on 27 Nov as a Xmas present for my daughter, but as it was outside their 30 day refund policy was only offered an exchange. Disappointed that Currys, unlike Amazon and other stores, don't offer a more practical response when presents are open on 25 Dec and I called the morning of Boxing Day. Update: following a letter citing my refund rights under the Credit Consumer Act Currys have replied that they will refund me.
I visited twice and left as I couldn't get any assistance. On the third attempt I forced a guy to help me. I bought a TV. The next day I went back cancelled my order as the one he advised or stayed silent on was an old model. The next model TV was available. Anyway went back and bought the TV I was planning to buy in my 5th visit. The delivery got cancelled after i waited for 4 hrs. Then it got rescheduled with no consultation so nearly missed it. I'm still waiting for my speakers.
No staff around, waited an hour just to find prices for items that are not label and clearly in stock,no one has a key to let me me the item, its like they don't want to make sales. No help, only needed the item handed to me after checking item price on amazon. Why aren't these items labelled its been like that for a month and few times I walked out because I couldn't get a price. Please stop advertising items in stock when its impossible to make a purchase
Horrible customer service. I was told from Beckton curry’s that they had an item in stock in the mile end curry’s. The manager in Mile End curry rudely told me that theirs nothing they can do about it. I should’ve been the one angry instead he gave me the attitude. Disbelief in their lack of organisation. My time is valuable as I only have certain days off. Curry’s need to improve their customer service.
Currys PC World Mile End is a fantastic store for all your tech needs. They've got a wide range of products, from laptops and phones to TVs and appliances. The staff there is super friendly and always ready to help you out with any questions or concerns. I've had some great experiences shopping at Currys PC World Mile End and would definitely recommend checking them out for all your tech needs!
Large store with a lot of stock on display that can be handled and examined. Nice selection of house appliances and electronics including laptops and gaming. Store has lots of parking right out front. Staff are friendly and polite. Seemed helpful when helping me. Will come back and check out their laptops as in person is the only way you'll know you'll not hate the keyboard.
This is worst customer service I have ever got in my life. I asked for help to buy a particular laptop, someone ask me to check laptop section. Again I asked another staff to find this particular laptop, he said I am sending someone. Then for 30 minutes no one came to help. But all staff they were very relaxed and walking here and there. But not wiling to help.
I recently had a fantastic shopping experience at Currys Shop and I can't wait to share my thoughts! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the extensive range of electronics and appliances they had on offer. Whether you're looking for the latest gadgets, home appliances, or even cutting-edge entertainment systems, Currys seems to have it all.
This is the first time I have ever felt customer voice mattered, when Fahim took his time and used his product insight to give me the perfect tv. He specified exactly how this tailored for me and even went out of his way to find out how it would improve my gaming set. If you really want personalised experience, you must ask for him.
Good customer service, pricing I will recommend not to go for sales, this fridge freezer I saw £509, 4 days before Black Friday, then on Christmas n Black Friday SALES was £569. I thought the price would go down, but no CURRYS put prices UP for sales, so my request to all customers is not to go sales any shops.............
The people that work there are not good.... no friendly, no helpful.... the jungest ones who are there don't want to work. you can see from the faces that they are just there to waste time. yours and theirs. only two or three are very kind and know how to help you, of course they are the older ones.
If you visit this store get a binocular with you to find a sales person. If you find someone then they will tell you product not in stock but actually it's in stock they just don't wanna help you and they want to do chat with each other. This store need some supervisor who can serve customer.
Nice staff, but they are not well dispersed in the store, and a few are not as knowledgeable or allowed to remove security tags from products in the area they are in which causes you to go all the way back to the front of the store to get the correct person because they don't want to do it.
Great customer service, nothing like what I'm reading. Staff is polite and capable, could do with a few more staff on the floor. Julia is polite and patient, she's very knowledgeable. I went in for buying a laptop and she helped me to pick the best option. I will be definitely coming back..
Customer service is a shamble at this branch, non existent infact. You lost out on a sale on an expensive T.V I wanted to purchase, but you have done me a favour as now looked online and can buy the T.V £200 cheaper. Don't waste time with this branch if you need help with enquiries!!!
Very unprofessional staff, i went to ask something about the product which i bought online, guy was on counter for repair was busy on his personal phone and skeaking different language,i wait about five minutes but he didn't gave any attention, ask other staff, but they didn't bother.
Terrible experience. Standing around waiting for them to get me an item I want to purchase. Spoke to the lady standing at the door doing nothing and said sorry I can’t help you, there is no one. Worse Currys store. Avoid at all costs. Was left waiting for 20 minutes.
Staff are great in particular Joyce, Sebastian and Aliya as they helped me! Only gave 4 stars because you can be waiting around for quite a bit which management needs to sort out. Staff deal with you as best as they can so a little patience for them goes a long way
This store is understaffed. After asking the worker Christian if we could get some help he blatantly ignored us and stood there like a lemon he said he was busy when he was infact just walking up and down. We waited 20 mins just to be seen by someone. Do better!
Just terrible service, staff where unhelpful. I watched multiple senior citizens get ignored and it fell to me to help give advice on what HDMI cable to buy when a staff member was trying to flog the most expensive option.
Worst place to visit, no assistance from staff. I waited for 40 minutes for help because I went there to see a laptop but nobody came to help when I asked the manager , she said they do have staff. A terrible experience
Went to the store, made an order on the web for click and collect, picked it up off the shelf myself, brought the item to the counter, got it scanned, drove to my car and walked home. 5 star customer service.
Staff is friendly, but store is massively understaffed. Everytime I'm here to collect already placed online order it takes ages (at least 20 minutes, usually longer). If you can buy somewhere else then avoid
Bad experience as Iam waiting for 45 mins to buy a laptop. In the end someone was coming to help me but he was called back by his supervisor. I still have noone to help me. Disappointed …
Disgusting customer service, staff ignore you whilst walking past. Absolutely terrible. Will advise everyone I know to avoid using this store. Without customers you have no business.
07/10/2023 I was in the queue 2 hours!!! Cause in the repair&support was a too slow lady alone!! Alone! The rest of the stuff just walked in the hall! Terrible service!
Been in the shop a few times over the last few months. Staff are always friendly and knowledgable and have a good range of stock on display.
Poor quality of products on offer as parts of many gas cookers were missing and some covered in dust. No salesperson offered to assist me…
Review for Mile End store. They were really understanding of my complex order request and sorted it. Sal was very helpful. Thank you.
Absolutely a1 Service by sadio, even thou had to wait a while, I was dealt with efficiently, and some sound advice by the gentleman.
Customer service at currys is very bad I would not recommend anyone to shop here. They don't look after the customer at this curry.
Worse customer service I have ever seen. I have to leave without purchasing the TV I wanted. I don't recommend this shop to anyone
Staff are always friendly and always assist me with what i need. Highly recommend anyone to shop here!
To the Store Manager, Team Knowhow desk has a very combative as well as argumentative Store Manager
