I left my bike to be serviced here since I was not in a hurry as I was going to be out for a week. I had a positive interaction once when I needed a last minute brake tuning after an attempt was made to steal my front wheel. I told the clerk I needed the basic service + new brake pads and asked them to call me if they could spot anything urgent to fix before taking any action. A week later after my return I called the shop to be sure the bike was ready and they told me they had, to my amazement, replaced not only brake pads, but also the rear cassette, inner cable, chain and brake pads at a charge of 125 euros, nearly triple my expectation. I told I didn't expect to have all of these parts replaced since no one called me to confirm if these were OK to be fixed, despite that on the phone I was told they had called me but I have zero calls missed for the whole duration the bike was left in the shop. After thinking about it, I agreed to pay for the parts replaced, thought it'd be insurance on making the bike hold a little longer so I accepted to pay for these. Low and behold, I've never had my bike skip chain ever in the 8 years I owned it and it finally started after the parts/adjustment. I have returned to the shop since and one of the techs has tried to "adjust" the derailleur, which did improve slightly (no skipping since) but nonetheless the bike is still a mess, gear shifting making considerable mechanical noise and not shifting nearly as smoothly as before since placing my trust on these cowboys. I will make sure to let all local dublin cycling communities know this experience. Avoid this place at all possible costs (or rather, don't just trust me, but read other 1/2 star reviews. This goes as bad as having your bike sold by accident, to wheels that aren't properly fixed, etc. It's just one of those things that are red flag and had I not had a positive experience with a small tuning before I would not have considered this shop without doing the due diligence of reading the reviews of.)

I love my new bike and am very pleased with it now that I finally have it. The process was far from smooth riding. After several email attempts I took to going to the shop to order an invoice for the bike to work scheme. While I’m happy with my Martello Compass, I wasn’t offered a chance to sit on any bikes to see how they felt. This is something you could maybe suggest to customers. The first time I got to see how the bike felt to ride was when I was leaving with it having purchased it. It took over week from the time I received my receipt to receiving my bike, after several awkward phone calls. The first call (on a Saturday) I was told the bike would be ready mid-week. That Wednesday I called and was told there were no tyres, but would be ready tomorrow. On the Thursday I was told the bikes that came in in the order were in the wrong boxes and that it would be Friday morning before I could collect. On Friday morning I was told that the bike wasn’t even in the shop and would be arriving at 6pm but would need assembly. I was eventually able to collect that following Monday. When collecting the bike items that I had ordered on the initial day that I was in the shop we’re not included. I had requested a stand, a pannier or carrier for the back and a bell. The stand and bell were fitted after I pointed it out it was told the pannier wouldn’t be in stock for two or three weeks. I have since had one fitted from a different bike shop. Clarity in order times/ expected order times needs to be improved. A chance to sit on or briefly try out (after leaving a deposit of driver license or passport for example) would make the end user experience much better. Keeping a consistent level of stock so that customers don’t have to return in “two or three weeks” for basic bicycle accessories - that are clearly popular if they are out of stock would make the experience far more professional.

Will never buy anything from this shop after what I witnessed. The bike was dropped in Wednesday to repaid a puncture and complete service and we were told it would be ready Friday. Once we arrived to collect we were informed it was not ready until Monday. The reason given was they were busy. No apologies and really bad attitudes. We asked if they would be able to fix the puncture only without service, but they couldn't - they said they may able to do it on Saturday, but they wouldn't know until Saturday. We were also told to drop the bike somewhere else if we didn't want to wait till Monday. After deciding to bring the bike to another shop close by where they said the job would take 15 minutes I asked for the bike back and questioned the staff. This time I was told somebody was out sick so a new reason given on top of the busy excuse. Plain and simple I said you have to call your customers if there are delays like this. They denied giving the time frame for the job which was a lie and the guy we were initially speaking with was in the shop. This is bar far one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. People rely on their bikes for transport and to give such a terrible service or lack of any is just unacceptable. No apologies, lies and would not take any responsibility for the delay. There are many other bike shops close by with much better staff so check your Google Maps before going near this place.

They tried to charge the higher price than it was mentioned at the beginning. So I recommend to take written proof of the final price. I bought the bike here and one month later the back-wheel axle was crooked. Surprisingly, they said this case would be not free because I had not sent the bike for free service during the first two weeks. I was quite disappointed, but the offered (half) price for the service was not high (17€) and I decided to use this service. I gave 2-star for them here in Google maps because, as for me, they need to add in the check that there is no free service for the bike after 2 weeks. I have no idea what the guarantee covered then. Next day they said that I have to pay full price (35) as I was “not nice” giving them 2-star. They probably do not know that changing the price after receiving the service is illegal in EU. After 5 minutes discussion they agree to charge the initial price. They also offer me this service for free in case I would delete my score. It seems that the bike is OK now, so I will give them 3-star. But they really tried to change the price as a punishment for bad review. Just want to remind that it is illegal.

I brought my old bike in to be repaired, after another place told me it would be hundreds of euros for repairs I just wanted to get a second opinion and a friend recommended them to me. The guys were great about walking me through the issues with my bike, and quoted a similar price for repairs. However, they were then able to show me new bikes in their shop that were half the price (much more within my budget), and even checked in back to get me the last bike that was listed as 'sold out' online. My Martello Corvette is a great bike for the price, light and simple, perfect for zipping around town. Super happy with the service at initial purchase, and for the free 6-week checkup to make sure everything is running smoothly on my new bike. Great local business!

Terrible customer service and very poor communication between the staff. I have chosen a bike back in June and 5 weeks later still didn’t get the bike. When the bike was finally at the shop nobody called to notify me and finally when I have decided to cancel my order done through the bike to work scheme they then only told me the bike was in the shop. Either way I told them I want to go ahead with my cancellation as I am terribly disappointed by their overall careless attitude but two weeks later they still have not refunded the company I work for. They never replied the phone and are slow at replying emails too! Do not buy your bike there.

Bought a Fuji Absolute 2.3 crossbar couple of weeks back. Great bike. Really comfortable to ride. Very happy. I got the bike delivered but I did have to bring it back to the shop for a service only because I made some mistakes while setting it up . I would recommend getting them to set it up for you, if possible. I found setting it up myself harder than I thought it would be. In fairness it does say on the website that they recommend you have them set it up for you. Not a big deal though really. When I brought it in they gave it a full once over and its workingpworking now. Overall very satisfied with my experience.

I was literally waiting for 4 weeks for a bike! They got my name and number, I called all the week they were saying I’m gonna contact you tomorrow! Finally the guy said to me all the black bikes the one I wanted were sold out after 4 weeks! Why he didn’t said in the first place? Why keep me in the dark for 4 weeks? Why you’ve got my number and name if you aren’t gonna call me? Very messy, terrible customer service, would never ever thought this could happened! Ridiculous attitude towards customers! I went there to get a crankset replaced in one of their Martello bikes. The crankset they installed is not original and now it's constantly coming loose because it doesn't fit perfectly. Some time after I asked for a couple of parts more and they were unable to give me a price online. I went to the shop and the other parts they offer me were not original martello. ¿What is the point of having your own bike repair shop of you don't sell the parts of your own bike brand? This is really disappointing. The staff its really friendly and their bikes are class.

My bike was delivered promptly considering Covid and Brexit have been delaying so many other deliveries from other businesses. The bike was flat packed and I don't mind that...it was missing instructions but there wasn't much to worry about there. I had one small issue with the assembly and was delighted that there was help at the other end of the phone. So friendly so helpful and promised any issues at all he would stand over them. Lovely guys and I did seek out a local business and very glad I did. I love my bike and new hobby!

I visited 4 or 5 bike shops in Dublin and decided to use my Bike to Work scheme with these guys. They had everything I needed, were incredibly understanding with my lack of knowledge in the bike market, and made sure I was good to go when I left the shop. 6 months on my custom bike (put together by a guy working here) is in fantastic shape still, and just recently got it serviced here also. These guys are fantastic at what they do and are very friendly. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.

I am absolutely thrilled with my Lady's Elite hybrid bike. It is exactly what I was looking for and look forward to exploring lots of different greenways and cycle paths over the summer months. I had a really good experience buying my bike here. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. I bought in through the bike2work scheme and they helped me get the paperwork in order very quick and satisfactorily. The bike arrived flatpack and was not damaged in any way. My only note is that detailed instructions would have helped when putting the flatpack bike together, but other that I was very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

Bought a new beautiful Brooklyn green bike in BikesOrBike. Amazing guys took the time to deal with me and show me all the available fixie bikes in store and i just came for a look but was so impressed and price was excellent €299 brand new bike so i bought it. Ordered 2 bicycles and received one a week later (minor damage to logos caused by cable ties used to hold protective packaging). After numerous contacts I finally got the second one sent out to me, although in a different colour as they no longer had the original colour I had ordered. The bikes were very simple to assemble and come with all of the extras that you need to add on elsewhere. Very pleased with the bikes.

I had been trying desperately to get a particular type of bike at the busy time of the year. Searches on google brought me to Bikesorbicycles.com and I found the perfect bike at a really good price. One of the best bike shops in the city for bikes of all levels, but especially for fixies. I bought my martello fixie back in 2017 and it's been an absolute joy to ride since then. I recently brought it back in for some minor repairs - it's riding just like new, and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to get it repaired. They even turned it over in 24 hours, which I really appreciated. Thanks a mill!

We ordered a bike a few weeks ago and despite asking for it to be delivered assembled, it came half disassembled. Although the instructions were easy to follow, the toolbox provided in the box did not contain all the tools needed. In addition, the instructions for assembling the basket on the front of the bike were missing. Apart from a few scratches and small dent, the bike is working.

My fiance bought a bike here on the bike to work scheme. When I was unpacking the bike noticed a big scrap on the frame of the bike. Asked the shop to replace the bike and they refused saying it could have been damaged during transport/unpacking and offered 10 euro to buy paint to paint over the scratch. Also helmet she bought never arrived. Would not recommend this shop

Easily the best bike shop I've been too. The lads in there are really passionate about what they do, and are very friendly. They got me out of a jam when my folding bike was damaged. A very decent bicycle and satisfied with my purchase overall. There were some small issues - there was no toolkit or proper instructions provided to help with the assembly. Also, the part that held the seat up had to be replaced - as the seat kept slipping down. After these issues were resolved, I can't fault the bicycle and am quite satisfied with it.

Got my bike serviced and returned to full working order after leaving it to die in the shed for years! Chains, brakes, gears were all fixed and like new. It looks and feels better than I can remember. I was tempted to just dump and get a new bike, but the lads did a great job here so delighted with the savings. I wasn't informed beforehand that this would happen but I am very happy with my purchase because the bike is the model I have chosen. This company is a joke, when purchasing a bike their website didn't mention that the bike would be 80% assembled. I wasn't happy and asked for refund. They made me pay another €35 for the collection, and they have been ignoring my calls since January. I am planing to take them to court (Customer Right Act 2022)

Delivery in 3 days is a lie in my case. I had to wait for 2 weeks because of some issues on delivery company side, spent a lot of time calling and emailing, and finaly had to pick it up from store myself. If you need your bike sooner - better not put much trust on the delivery.

Terrible place to go, I took my bike for 2 days for a simple one to change the tire and they didn't want to do it any of the 2 days, I took it to another cycle and they solved the problem in 20 minutes and even charging me less. The only word I have for this place is: useless!
