Excellent local Shop friendly shop, and the owner being a former plumber knows what he talking about. Once I wanted to to "fix" something my self and instead of just selling me something he strongly advised me to get a plumber as it was not as easy as I thought it would be, and the other time I was struggling to find a plumber to come and do an urgent job, and he made one phone call and an hour later someone was at my door and the problem was fixed. What more can I say. Try getting that level of service at a big chain shop.

Had a leaky bathroom sink and, ideally, I wanted to avoid calling a plumber out over something relatively minor. So popped in to see if they could provide a couple of replacement seals / o-rings. They didn't have identical replacements but recommended another widget that would sort out the problem. Went home, fixed it myself and no leak anymore. Excellent, friendly service and reasonably priced, good quality items.

We were trying to fit a sink ourselves and had no idea what we were doing... they were incredibly helpful, kind and supportive; gave lots of advice, spent time trying to find the best (and cheapest) solution that we could do ourselves. Couldn't have been happier with the service they gave us!

If ever there was a reason for why you should pick local over a faceless chain like B&Q this is it. The team there go out of their way to help and support and provide the personal touch to ensure that you get what you need and understand what needs to be done. Couldn't recommend more!

I visited the shop to buy a shower hose. I'm not a plumber, but a single lady! They were very knowledgeable and really helpful. Gave me lots of instructions over the telephone, whilst I fitted the hose myself. They went above and beyond. Would highly, highly recommend.

Two amateur 'plumbers' fitting kitchen mixer taps, we were treated very professionally, & with kind understanding, given excellent advice, just the correct items & not oversold, could not recommend this service from David @ New Barnet store more.

Purchased a bathroom suite from here . prices are just as good as anywhere else. Expert knowledge from the two shopkeepers as to all the various parts needed to installed the suite. Will use again.

Marvellous friendly staff know thier stuff. Needed barrels for a mixer tap, they were able to supply from stock. So nice to have personal service with a smile instead of sterile DIY aisles.

Great Service, went in to ask for radiator valve cap and was given the exact thing that I needed rather than being sold asomething that I did not need or would have been more expensive.
