The car I had bought from here a few years ago, and it has finally run it's course and I am scrapping it for a new one. I definitely got lucky and got my money's worth out of the car but I would advise caution when buying here. I'm not going to attack the salesperson's character as maybe he was having an off day. When I inspected the car it had severe rust under the body, electrical problems(Key fob was not functioning due to an issue with the computer),the power locks were not functioning, the car alarm system was faulty and the lines running from the leads to the battery had suffered from corrosion and the brakes pads and rotors were clearly worn. He had one of his locksmiths perform an operation on the car to correct the car alarm issue, but when I tried to contact the locksmith who did the 'repair' to ask what was done, he was tight lipped and refused to talk to me unless the original salesperson was present on a 3 way call.Thankfully the salesmen was willing to lower his price after I pointed out the vehicle flaws, but was very clearly agitated when I asked him why he would advertise a car with features that are not functioning but still expect me to want to pay the advertised sale price. The car was sold with a safety, and I was told it would be further inspected.After I had put my deposit down and left the lot and came to pick it back up later on, the car was still in the same spot, with the exact same problems. I took it to be personally inspected and there was absolutely no way under the circumstances it was sold to me it would have passed a safety. I was very tempted to contact the ministry to have them deal with this, but given the fact this seller had positive reviews, I decided to let it slide out of compassion. The car had a few problems years later that were easy fixes for myself and I will say once again it has served me well. Even though my car buying experience here was not great, I do applaud him for lowering his prices respectively to accommodate SOME of the problems the vehicle had. The only thing I would say to any buyer shopping here is if you do choose to buy from him or any used car dealer for that matter, make sure you take it directly to the dealer and have it inspected further either before the purchase of the car(if he will allow that) or after the purchase.

Found a really nice looking Subaru Forester for sale with safety included. Called the dealer and was told someone put a deposit on the car and it will be sold. In the same sentence, the dealer asked me how serious am i because he will refund the deposit from the other customer and let me see the car. Naively, I said i am serious and went to the dealer. When i got there, the very first question he asked me after saying hello was, are you going to buy this car today? I told him that i have to see the car first and road test it before giving an answer. Following the road test, I decided to put a deposit of $1,000. Dealer said, do not put the deposit yet, wait for my finance guy to call you. So finance gets back to me 3 days later and says he has financing set up for me, except the price of the vehicle is $3,000 higher & he needs me to pay out my current car loan of $6,000 left owing. Naturally, I called the dealer wondering why and was told that used cars MUST have additional warranty purchased for $1,500, besides the fact that the car is being sold with a safety, AND the admin fee is $1,500. I naturally disputed the warranty and was told I would get a call back. Now i get a notification on my phone that the car i was interested in (the subaru) is sold. I call the dealer back and he says the car was sold to someone else. At this point i am not happy. Dealer calls me back 3h later and says that he will waive the mandatory warranty if i sign a paper that states i cannot come back to the dealer after purchasing the vehicle if something goes wrong with the car once it leaves the lot. Honestly, these are first class crooks and should not be in business. I found a similar car at another dealer and was not charged any admin fee ($0) and was not forced to buy any warranty. Same year, same price + safety. BE WARNED

The car had a serious water leak which they would not fix after we purchased it. Now the car has a dangerous sub frame damage that could have killed us with loss of steering resulting in accident. Mechanics and dealership said it never should have been certified as safe. This car was illegally certified safe. I paid for the safety, when in fact I paid for something that could have killed me and my family. I am sick an needed this for medical appointments. Daniel even helped to see if my wheelchair would fit in the car himself. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER Daniel the car was rotten underneath when we purchased it, mechanics verified that. The replacement cost us 1600 only one part was covered under warranty . Not all the adjacent parts which were destroyed by that one part. You knew your mechanic knew. Then you phoned us and tried to intimidate us by phone to say we 'better take our review down' off of Google. You sold a death trap and you know it. Don't blame your mechanic when it's your business and you tell 'them' what to do.

I recently bought a car from D2. Daniel was ok and polite but his associate, Seth seems to be rude and impatient. The car was washed and waxed to make marks unnoticeable before purchase. Once the waxing disappeared marks appeared. Also there were three cigarette burns on the driver's seat which I didn't notice until I brought the car home. The right wing mirror has a previously hit something which was not noticed though we inspected the car twice on separate days. Now six weeks later(after D2's 30 days warranty has expired), unusual noise coming from the hood when the car is started especially from cold. I can walk D2 through the appropriate procedures but just holding on. My advice is that never inspect their vehicle when the engine is already warm. If there is a hidden issue the vehicle will be warmed before you get there, that's why they will ask you what time you will be coming if you call beforehand.

I bought a Nissan Rogue 2008 from this dealership 2 1/2 years ago, and it has been nothing but a nightmare. The transmission started having issues, the windshield wiper motor stopped working, the differential breakers failed, and the body of the car was in such bad shape that they had to screw my bumper back on. The fact that they sold me a rebuilt vehicle without proper maintenance is appalling. I thought the low mileage was a plus for my first car, but it turned out to be a disaster. As a female buyer, I feel like they took advantage of me by selling such a poorly maintained vehicle. I've been caught in countless negative situations due to this car breaking down, and it's been an exhausting experience. To top it off, my car had to be sent to the scrapyard, and I received next to nothing for it.

I'm a photographer in Scarborough. i bought my Mercedes-Benz SLK hardtop convertible from D2 auto sales..the dealer (Daniel) was one of the nicest dealers i've ever bought a vehicle from, with no pressure at all while looking and talking about this vehicle. when i finally purchased the car it had a broken windshield, and a bad driver side mirror. other then that the car was flawless. after the purchase i priced out these broken items to have fixed at another shop in the future, but when i returned to bring my car home daniel had the parts already repaired and ready to go..AWESOME...we then sat down ate a meal together and talked for sometime until i drove my beauty home..it drives like a brand new sports car..(and its amazingly fast) i gotta watch my speed!!!!!.Thanks (Daniel).. great experience.

To me, servicd and integrity is everything. I bought a used car from D2, on inspection everything was fine but couple days after I bought it I noticed some problems and engine check light came on. Took it to a mechanic nearby and was told it was a minor issue but still about 200-300 to replace and fix. I called D2 and explained the problem, they not only apologized but told me to bring it in and they will take care of it free of charge. That is the level of service that needs to be commended. No one can fully know what they are getting in a used car. But a dealership that takes ownership and fixes problems swiftly and courteously is impressive. This is why we buy from a dealership vs random from Kijiji. Good job Daniel and Seth

I can't say enough about the way I was treated on my first time at D2 Auto sales ..I have bought many cars and was never treated with the professional service that Daniel showed me...He was so helpful and sincere and what I liked the most was no pressure...He answered all my questions and when I had doubts about something he brought people to talk to me who could assure me what he was telling me was true..He treated me with nothing but respect and was very helpful I have no hesitation in recommending D2 Auto sales to anyone who wants to be helped by knowledgeable, professionals. These guys did not hold up their end of the bargain in my deal. I bought a vehicle for $5,000. When I went in I told them upfront I would not bargain them down, and would pay the asking price as long as they a) replaced the tires which were nearly bare b) did an oil change and c) handled the plate stickers for me. They didn't do any of those things. I had to drive the car home illegally because there were no plate stickers and they left the oil and tires unchanged. The vehicle is fine, but I do feel cheated by these guys. In retrospect I certainly should've bargained them down on the price rather than put my faith in them to hold up their end of the bargain. Typical used car salesmen stuff.

I have bought 4 vehicles from Daniel and 1 for my mom and a couple of friends I have sent to buy from him ..he is upfront and honest ...used cars will have issues however it about his customer service he has helped me many times getting parts for me at dealer cost having his mechanic work on the vehicle without ridiculous price gouging. I researched the internet for my purchase of this vehicle. 2009 Dodge Journey. They had good internet ingormation. Great price. Low kms. Came down next day and met Seth. Took vehicle for a drive. Laughed all the way. Told Seth lets get it done and it was such a pleasant experience that i never negotiated as it was more than a fair price. Vehicle was ready next day. Had a minor issue four days later and they fixed it right away. Great staff. Great service and im so happy with my new purchase. I will be back and highly recommend. Ask for Seth. Hes a blast. I had bought honda crv 2012 for 10000 cad. From very beginning the car had issues related to acceleration, oil level depletion, etc. I had told this to Daniel, he even tried to fix it by keeping the car for 3 days. After 2 months, the car had lot of issues with oil level going down, crank shaft issue, timing chain issues. It also broke on highway and had to tow it. Overall I spent another 2000 in this process. Had to sell the car in scrap. I am really annoyed with D2 Auto Sales.

I highly suggest you bring whatever car to a trusted mechanic before buying. All together from when I bought the car, its costed me an extra 8 grand on top of what I got the car for.
