Reading the reviews regarding this company make me angry, realizing how many people have gone through what we have gone through. I think this is completely unacceptable. Worst customer service... We went to the Mississauga location and purchased a couple pieces of clothing. We were told we can order the kobe pants and have them shipped to our address for $10 extra. We agreed and paid. They did NOT deliver them to our address or EVEN bother to call us to notify us of any delivery problems or updates. We called them around 5 times over the span of a month and each time, the issue was not settled and there was a different excuse or problem. We told them we would just pick them up at the school because this was all becoming a hassle but the line up waits were too long and our students would be missing class time waiting for the chance to pick up/purchase clothes. Mind you, they were "trying out" the van shop and it was the worst idea EVER. We then called and asked if we could just have them shipped to our address, how we originally wanted it, and we were reassured they would be delivered to our address by the "manager" and she said there would be no problems after that... yet, two weeks pass by AGAIN, patiently waiting for the pants, and no pants have arrived. When we called for the last time, they said the notes in their system were not updated and said that we were picking them up from the school. So the "manager" on the phone previously did not do her job or uphold her promise by putting a note to ship it to our address. Now here we are... ONE MONTH AFTER placing the order and going through unnecessary and unacceptable customer service problems... picking up the clothes from the school because DGN Kilters cannot uphold their end of promises/obligations to the customer. Be careful when ordering with them... super unorganized.

Booked appointment, went there on time, so far so good. But, we had to do a backorder because they didn’t have all the items needed. Asked, got and purchased uniforms for Father Bressani in Woodbridge, four items (2 polos, short sleeve and 2 pants). Again, so far so good. The associate, at the cash register (Tala - that’s her name) unfortunately has a problem with reading or writing, because the backorder that she made for 2 long sleeve tops were for Jean de Brebeuf in Maple. So, the items ordered arrived at home having the logo for Jean de Brebeuf. She can, probably only read the firs 3 letters BRE.....because BREssani or BREbeuf for her, have the same meaning. Maybe my son will attend 1st semester at Bressani and the 2nd semester at Brebeuf or maybe Father Bressani won’t mind to see him wearing uniforms with the logo of Jean de Brebeuf. We asked how is that possible, she scanned all 4 items and she didn’t notice the logo for Father Bressani? We even got the care instructions in French. Jean de Brebeuf, surely sound French but it’s not a French Highschool. Long story, short story, we had to drive there only on Monday, 60 km back and forth, spent almost 2 hours in traffic (our time and our money) and we only got a “sorry about that “ from another associate, nothing else. For that Tala this is a summer job, she is a student at University, so we try to picture a future teacher, doctor, whatever...that cannot do a simple order, read properly the name, pay attention, check and double check at the end, just to make sure everything is right. Well, dgn kilters, for you information there are schools that don’t require uniforms, so......don’t count o the fact that we will have to return.

DGN Kilters was a huge disappointment last year. My daughters school just started using them last year and the experience was a nightmare. Not only did they not deliver the items I ordered, I kept on getting the run around from the people in the store and Customer Service reps at the head office. It took over a month for me to realize they were idiots and walked in requested a refund and headed over to RJ McCarthy's who for years supplied my kids school. RJ McCarthy's was able to provide me with plain shirts etc and paints that I could have my kids wear as school was already in session. Thank goodness the school realized what a mistake these people were and told parents their kids could wear plain white shirts and navy blue paints. DGN Kilters lack professionalism and don't deliver with the goods. It seems that the entire company is run by people who need a refresher in how to run a business. Awful service, from a company who can't deliver on there promise. DGN KILTERS SUCKS!!!

DGN kilters have no idea what customer service is about,I bought pants for my son that started high school in September,he noticed a hole in the pant leg and informed us of it when he came home. I returned it to DGN and the so called manager started tugging at it saying it was not a hole.I requested a new pair of pants and was promptly told no. I was told it was not sold like that and it could be sent for repair. I left the pants and was told 2 weeks for the repair and they would call when it was done. Never received a call after 3 1/2 weeks. I contacted my son's school and they contacted DGN for an explanation. DGN supposedly did the repair and we were told that's all they will do...Being a purchasing officer for a large University, the lack of customer service is the reason we do not sole source any of our purchases... I do believe the Catholic school board should review the purchasing agreements with DGN kilters soon...They definitely need to be replaced.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. First off, they are supposed to be open till 6pm, according to the recorded voice on the line, but they shut down at 5pm. They are supposed to be open on saturdays, but they are not. I'm trying to cancel an order that is in limbo. I ordered and it is not getting fulfilled. Customer service tells me it's not in stock. Why did it not say that on the website when I ordered ? Why did it let me order something that wasn't in stock ? Why am I not getting an email letting me know my order is on back order and will be fulfilled when in stock, with an estimated date ? Why, after requesting a cancellation and refund to customer service, does the order still show up as open and unfulfilled on my account ? I just need my order cancelled, what do I need to do ?

2021- Back to school uniform shopping talk about stressing; but let me tell you my worries were thrown out the window the minute I walked up! I felt welcome,I felt comfortable, I didn't feel rushed. Hand sanitizer, social distancing, was able to book online appointment which made this whole process even easier! Sizes were there, customer service above and beyond. Well done DGN Kilters Mississauga - you have one happy mama and one happy grade 9 student!!! Thankyou so much for making this back to school experience great yet again!! 2019- Quick service, helpful friendly staff who knew what I was looking for and where it was! I set an appointment and they were right on time and service was great! No complaints (accept maybe from my bank book haha)! Much thanks!

In store service with Ann in Mississauga was fantastic but they didn't have some items in stock (shorts and knee high socks) which we paid for and were told would arrive within a couple of weeks. Now almost 6 weeks later, the shorts are out for delivery but the socks haven't been sent out and our daughter starts school this week. The phone lines keep you on hold and then state that you'll get a call back (still waiting for it!). For the amount of money you pay for what is effectively cheap quality uniforms, you would think that their customer service and delivery times would be better. Ultimately they don't need to be any better because they know that parents have no choice but to go to them.

Very poor at customer service. We have been missing an order for more than 2 months. If I reach out to them to find out status of the order, no one responds until I sent a followup- and even then, there is no real answer- just a brush off that they'll let me know... but they never do, so I have to follow up again! Really unfortunate that our school has to order uniforms through them (Might make some suggestions to change that! ) Furthermore- they keep say they don't have my ordered items in stock (which are the basic usual uniform pieces- nothing special or unusual), but have been advertising a school uniform sale coming up... how does that work if they cant fulfill orders from 2 months ago?

I placed an order for 18 items. The gym clothing is horrible. The gym shorts have no lining and the school symbol, is pealing off after 1 wash/air dry (has not been worn). One of the gym shirts has a hole in the armpit, not along the seam (never washed or worn). The buttons on the shirts are so poorly stitched that they come off before even being taken out of the plastic packaging. Although previous years the clothing was made in Canada, it is now made in China and Bangladesh. The quality of the clothing has changed drastically while the prices are not any better. I give zero stars and recommend the school switch uniform providers. Big thumbs down!

Awful service. I ordered for curb side pick-up and haven't heard about the order which was supposed to be ready this week. It still says "In process".The store will not take calls due to "summer hours". Summer hours the week before school starts. WHAT? Now on hold for half an hour with customer service. Still waiting for a reply. Impossible to reach by phone. Do not answer emails. What a horrible service and we do not have a choice to go elsewhere. Following the company's answer: This is inexcusable. End of August/early September is high season. Like Christmas in a gift store. All hands should be on deck.

I called the company to ask why the size, while ordering on line, jumps from a T5 to a youth XS. The person's response was.." I dont know" . I need a size 6 for my daughter. nope doesn't exist. She then suggested I travel to Missisauga and take my chances there. I asked, what if they don't have the right size..again I was met with " I don't know". Is this a joke?!?! Horrible service, horrible company. P.s. what ever you do, DO NOT WAIT FOR THE TRUCK TO COME TO YOUR SCHOOL. You will be there for 3 hours, with confused workers who " don't know" why they dont have the right sizes!

Service is poor. Only option is to buy from a mobile van that comes to the school once a week. Parks in front of school . Waited in the rain. Why not set up shop IN the school. Wound up leaving because line was too long. Now have to drive one hour to mississauga store and one hour back just to by 3 pieces of clothing. Ridiculous. Shame on them and the HWDSSB for making people jump through hoops just to buy uniforms for their child. Waste of time ,money and gas. Why can't the school board enlist McCarthy for the uniforms. They are local and open everyday retail hours.

ABSOLUTELY GOD AWFUL SERVICE. The day before school starts when everyone is surprised to find all the shops from the schools have been moved to one location they decide to put one employee in the store who just yells at everyone who tries to explain to her that they received ripped pants and want new ones but she tells them they must must must wait in the line that takes 3 hours just to get pants again because this should keep that call themselves the store gave her f****** ripped pants so f*** them never go here. Never got my uniform.

Service is poor. Hours open are horrible. Closed 3 days in a week right before school starts.They say you can buy from truck at school once a month, but usually don't have sizes. As for there sizes are miss marked. Cant tell you how many times i had to return pants because i went without kids to buy. I cant wait till kids are done school so i don't have to deal with this company. Clearly school boards are being paid off to sign a contract with this company. What ever happened to RJ McCarthy ?

This is the worst store i have ever visited in my entire life. The lady in front of me took one hour at the cashier leaving the line to grow longer and longer. Horrible mismatched. Some staff were friendly but were dumb, inexperienced and weren't using their time wisely. Made in Sri Lanka and were very cheap quality for sky high prices. Dont come here unless you want to waste your whole afternoon spending hundreds of dollars for your kid. Thank you YCDSB for choosing such a terrible company.

Horrible company. 2 and a half months of waiting for an order I paid for in full. Ridiculous customer service. Give you the run around. Management is not qualified to have that title. No respect. Lie to customers. Complete disaster. Wondering if we will ever get out of this nightmare. Dealt with halpers for 10 years not once did we have this happen. What a disgrace of a company. Thousands of kids in York region without their uniforms. The YCDSB has failed it's students.

Had a wonderful experience with this establishment! From purchasing online, to contacting them because the fit wasn’t right - which they were super prompt to respond and provide assistance - to heading in store to make the exchange. Sameen was a wonderful help, so patient and very informative. Would recommend anyone purchase from here who needs uniforms, and look forward to future purchases we will no doubt need to make as our little guy gets bigger!

Today's service was 10 times better than my last visit thanks to Nasseen the assistant manager. She made me feel very welcomed and not rushed even though the store was busy. She took the time to serve me and give me best advice. I'm not too happy about the store not having what I needed but she reassured me that she will personally take care of my order and let me know as soon as possible. Very polite and great customer service skills.

I shopped with them twice, first time in the summer when I made a mistake going there 2 weeks before school started.My fault:). It seemed like everybody else did the same , the store was packed! I'll never do that again ! However the service was excellent, helpful and nice staff. Got everything I came for. Second time I decided to order online. My complete order came 2 days later, no line up not hassle :).

This was my first time at DGN Kilters purchasing my sons first high school uniform. The experience was great. I was greeted at the door by Nass who was friendly and immediately showed us what we needed to purchase. She was training a new girl Hena who also did a great job getting the correct sizes and cashing us out. Overall girls were great! We were in and out in about 40 min. Thank you DGN Kilters

I am so disappointed that I placed the order for my daughter’s uniform back in July and I am still waiting for her uniforms. I would never imagine that. They don’t keep stock of items, customer service does not respond to call phones and it’s not the case for me to drive all the way down to Mississauga. Unfortunately we don’t have a choice to go to a different company. So disappointing.

They are very very bad on delivery. I ordered some hoodies for my son and it took two months to be delivered. I live in Hamilton. It felt like they were coming from China or something. Even alibaba delivery is faster. It was my first time and surly the last time. Not to mentioned that customer service are rude when you call to question about your order.

Got my son school clothes from the truck in sjb school parking lots due to covid the ladies Nass and Mandy were very helpful to find my son size and offer exchange or refund in case it didn't fit properly at home. my only concern is the quality/cut of the clothe it is not comfortable at all and the quality is really bad they absolutely need to change it

I seriously wish I could give negative stars!! From not having stock to waiting over 6 weeks and still waiting on a vest for my son which I paid for in August!!! When I call customer service they have no idea what to say when or why this item has not shipped, no idea when it will ship, transferred me over three times to general voicemails! Ridiculous!

Ever since they changed my schools name when they came with the uniforms i bought them I peeked at the shirt and I noticed that the name of the new name for the school is just patched up On top of the old one. When I called the main office with a sizing issue, they directed me to the store location to sort out my issue. When I arrived the manager, Nass let me in because the store was closed for lunch. I wasn’t told about the lunch hour, but the Nass was really nice and provided great customer service giving up her time to help me. We are grateful!

We failed to make appointment because we tried to do so too late. But my daughter would start her school in the following week. Two ladies in the shop were very helpful and very patient even my daughter took double time to fit every cloth than others. They really made that weekend a wonderful day. The in store experience was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, I placed an order in September and have yet to receive it 2 months later. At this rate my daughter will grow out of the size. I have contacted customer service twice for help via email and both times they have indicated that the order is being processed

I went to visit the store yesterday to make an exchange/return and the staff was amazing and so friendly and especially Nasseem. Nasseem took the time to help me, was very thorough and gave me many options and even let me know when the truck comes to the school! Nasseem was patient and her customer service was impeccable!

Booking an appointment was easy peasy, the young girls are knowledgeable with the uniforms, it was quick and easy to pick my uniform pieces, but it's an inconvenience & it doesn't make sense to me when the St Elizabeth uniforms are not available at the Markham or Aurora locations, going to mississauga is out of the way

I called in and they said they would call me asap(waited two HOURS) if they had the pair of pants, they told me they have it.. and when I drove a 25 min drive(on a fast route) , I asked if they had the same pair of pants that I called in for, they said they didn't. I ordered pants 3 days before school. It's past 2 weeks now and they still haven't came in meanwhile they said it would only take 1 week. Problem is, I can't borrow school pants because they don't have my size and stupid me threw away the bill. Now my parents are mad they spent all this money and I got nothing.

It was great! We booked an appointment at 5 p.m. and we came late because of traffic. Even though we came late Nasseem still let us try the clothes and we got to exchange the clothes! She was very welcome to help my little brother try the clothes and find the perfect size for him. She is a very nice person!!!

The service we've seen from DGN has been at best, bad. They sent a tie for a full grown man for our four year old son and they could not figure out why that was a problem. They delayed his gym uniform for two months, then sent a pair that would fit a teenager. They're inept, slow and overpriced.

Not a fan of this company and quality. I’ve been inconvenienced many times with errors on their end. The only reason I gave it a five star rating is because of one of their staff members Nass. She was phenomenal, very patient and accommodating. I hope to deal with her again in the future.

Terrible sizing. My son fits is GAP, Carters, but the pants sizing of this place is terrible and I am not talking about the length, the waist sizes are odds! The shirt size is the same the neck line too small even when we go a size up. I hope the school changes from this awful place.

HORRIBLE customer service. They do not answer the phone, or return emails. They do not carry uniforms in stock and waited 6 weeks for my sons uniform. I received a few pieces after school started and it was for the WRONG school. They don’t care! VERY unprofessional

I placed an order in August and still haven't gotten my delivery; it's now October 4th! I'm still waiting on them to get Tunics and skirts/skorts in for girls, all they have are pants. Tunics apparently wont be in until the end of October; like seriously?!

Worst place ever . They charge the money and till 2 months no uniform delivered . Sent damaged product . If you call no one even pick up the call . The board has to acutually find some other reliable source for the uniform so that parents dont get cheated

Ordering online? Make sure you call them in the day or two after, or your order will just sit there and no one sends you an update or bothers to ship it out. They're clearly disorganized. Pretty poor customer service.
