So we came in they didn't say anything. So you assume you can just walk up to the cool disco club upstairs.... But then they tell you you need a stamp on you wrist to get to the disco floor. When you come back they tell you you need to check your coat. Which is another wait after the initial line to get in, and $5 to check your coat, which is fine if they told you up front that to get to the floor that is the reason for the name of the bar you have to do all these things... But then when you get up there you see a good portion of the people who either have their coat on or have a pile of coats.... I'm sorry but it is winter in Chicago and you need to tell me up front if I need to hand my coat over.... But also make everyone do . They also didn't tell us as we came that we needed plastic cups for our drinks so they just took them out of our hands and poured them into plastic without telling us why until after all of out friends complained. It's not worth coming unless your are willing to jump through the hoops they want you to. Disclosure at the door would be nice.

Security guys seemed to be terrified by something. Therefore not all of them pleasant. I took my hills off (the floor is clean )and someone came over with the phrase that I should either put them on or they should ask me out. I respect the rules and no problem to put them on, which I did, but I guess one can put it nicer if the people obey. Same with going out with the drink, one guy said nicely we are not allowed too, when the other ran out saying there are cameras around and we should stay inside, while I was just asking if on any of the floors there is an open area. I appreciate control and safety, but would appreciate some respect too, as I am definitely not the rules breaker and do not look like one. Otherwise good atmosphere.

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about me and my friends came from Toronto last night I found this place on Google I was sold on the floor and was hoping that they would play disco. They certainly did play disco the floor was really cool yeah it's a small club but it's the best that they can obviously do so I'm not sure why people could even complain about that what are they supposed to do stretch out the building? Bouncers to me seems pretty funny didn't have an issue with them but yeah this place was playing bangers the only weird thing is is that the DJ is in front of the entrance so you naturally walk by him to get to the dance floor so it's a little weird to not be able to rave/dance with him and get him hyped up but nonetheless he was killing it definitely will come back

Really really fun bar, fantastic disco/EDM music and the lighting is crazy. The drinks are expensive and pretty limited in selection. The worst part are the bouncers on late weekend nights; unless you know someone or are on a list they pay no mind to the line next to them. We standed in a 20 person line for a half hour without moving at all while people came and went who knew the bouncers. I finally got fed up and asked why the line was not moving: “capacity limits.” Then the bouncer informed me that the limits wouldn’t matter if I paid him off to the side. We got in through this magic loophole, and the dance floor was barely full at all. The night before (Friday) there was no line and the floor was much busier. Despite the fun environment, I won’t be coming after that experience

Extremely poor service by the female bartenders on the night of 12/16/2022. My husband was asking for a type of Casamigos (we are not usually tequila drinkers and don’t know the different types) and she got annoyed with him and just retorted “learn how to order”. Unnecessary attitude on a night when we are out to have fun. Didn’t see her behaving that way with anyone else, seemed intentional. Granted, we were upset. She didn’t even serve me drinks when I went to order because she was annoyed with my significant other. In a client facing business, if you can’t be patient, you’re not doing your one job well. At all. Way to ruin a perfect night.

Visited Saturday the 7th of October. It was a spur of the moment decision. Was out and tried something different. Table service was dope. (Love the sparklers)...... DJ third floor was decent. Loved the the disco floor lights. Loved the diversity. People who commented about people being weird ........clearly were not there to dance and enjoy themselves. My wife and I visited every floor and enjoyed the atmosphere. Will revisit next time we slide through the windy city.

Literally called, emailed, called again, and emailed again, finally got an email from Cedric at Disco and then got ghosted. Emailing normal people at 12 am doesn't seem to work for you guys. How hard is it to give someone your money for a bottle service / bday party? Had about a party of 20 and ended up going to Clutch, where we had a great time. The girl's voicemail on the Celeste site phone number doesnt appear to answer anything. The disco website was the only way to get through, and even then couldnt get a straight answer.

The most disappointing club experience I've ever had. The bouncer tried to tell our group we had fake IDs because we are from Michigan and tried to stop some of us from coming in (learn the difference between real and fake IDs!). The drinks are way too mediocre to be that expensive. The LED floor was cool but there was no room to dance because the rooms were too small. Coat check is $5/person, but I expected that. The music sounded like royalty free EDM without a decent beat. We left after one drink. Will not be returning.

So fun! It's a bit small on the dance floor, but the other levels offer a place to go cool off and get some space. I went with a couple of girlfriends, and we were impressed by the professional staff and security. Felt very safe the whole time! Great music! Was disco in the beginning of the night, and kind of wandered into more techno-esque by the end. Would have liked more classic 70s, but thats just a personal preference lol. Overall great experience!

This place is located on the third floor of Celeste. When i went there, at 2:30 am is when they started playing back to back disco bangers. The DJ picked the tunes well. That's when the vibe changed drastically from the other two floors. At that point, if you were still there, you came to dance and that's the crowd i wanted and needed. I loved dancing on the LED floor with the massive disco ball hanging above us. Had the time of my life.

Amazing disco club. On top of celeste, you need a separate stamo to get in there. The crowd is young, beautiful and there to enjoy the night. The music is disco, obviously, but not exclusively (they played some minimal eletro as well). The only issue is the bar, slightly understaffed so the wait is long. Once it's your turn, order the disco balls drink (approx. 20 usd). It makes a great conversation opener.

Ok honestly, it’s the atmosphere that you can’t beat. True disco vibes on the 3rd floor. Disco music from the 70’s with a modern beat. Dj is awesome. Drinks are not good on the 3rd floor. margarita was mediocre. But you go to dance and have a good time, so bring your friends and don’t expect the best cocktails and you will have a blast.

Awesome dance club for Disco (Fri & Sat) and 80s (Thurs) music with light up dance floor and huge disco balls. One of a kind in the US. Place is small so must come early and reserve online. If not, you are unable to enter until midnight and only if there is room. I recommend for any disco lover!!!! My favorite place in Chicago. Period.

The bouncer refused me entry, even after providing my out of state ID, and additional forms. He continued to refuse me entry even though I’m well over the 21 year old age limit. This establishment is very “exclusive” and racist. I wouldn’t recommend coming here - there are plenty of better bars to go to right across the street.

Can’t beat it! Lights, glam, disco, soul, funk! This is truly a destination for great night of fun and mingle with a diverse and international crowd. Dj was good and because of that maybe I'll try it another night. I went on a Saturday, drinks are overpriced $15 for a well whiskey sour no egg white plus they add a service fee. The crowd is not my type so maybe if I go on a different night it'll be less sloppy drunks.

They messed my drink up and then chargede to actually fix it. Absolutely horrible. The music is absolutely mid at best with a DJ just standing in the hallway. Horrible experience with horrible music. Go to the beauty bar or slippery slope instead of this place.

Emailed ahead of time asking to make a reservation. They said they were doing walk up tickets only the night we were looking at. When we arrived, the bouncer said reservations only and wouldn't even speak at us to look at the email. Very disappointing.

Went here for my wife's B.D. with friends and we had a blast. The servers were awesome, management was great and the music was on the spot. We will deff be back for sure. Thank you to all at Disco, we had a groovy time lol

Last night I was talking with my friend about the last new year's eve party. I really miss those days! Has a great time there and we will be there when they open again after this pandemic.

It was extremely over crowded, I could BARELY move on the disco floor. The floor lights weren’t even on. I barely enjoyed myself, I hope the next time I go it’ll be a better experience.

Didn't have their dress code rules on their website. Girls had to wear heels or tennis shoes, groups of people were turned away. At least have a warning somewhere for footwear.
