I wish so badly I could give ZERO stars. Today I went looking for a pair of sandals for my 4 year old son and I ended up leaving in tears having an anxiety attack. As I was going up and down the isles, there was a lady who was very obviously blocking the entire isle and not letting me pass. I very calmly said “excuse me” and she then went on to cuss at me in her language, which I understood because our languages are similar. I then calmly responded that “if she had something to say to me she should please say it in English so I could understand her.” I then had an employee named KAROLINA come out of nowhere and start verbally attacking me. She was raising her voice and called me a RACIST in front of my young toddler and the entire store full of customers. Not only did she NOT have the common courtesy to ask what even happened, but she called me a racist which I don’t take lightly. She then went on to call a manager so I followed. This manager named EDUARDO also came out and started verbally attacking me without even bothering to ask me what happened? To just assume that I was the one in the wrong without even letting me speak or explain is discrimination not to mention disrespectful. I was also told to “get out of the store” because I was upset and raising my voice trying to just explain how I felt attacked. I mentioned to him that I was going to call the police and his response was “what do you think your a lawyer?” At one point he was very close to me raising his voice and I actually felt threatened. This type of treatment is absolutely DISGUSTING. I’m just browsing trying to find my son a pair of shoes but I ended up being verbally attacked and embarrassed in this store by an employee and this so called manager. Customers deserve to be respected and an employee should NEVER call a customer a racist. Never shopping here again and will be filing with the human rights board.

My husband and I went to the store to get hiking shoes. We had 3 staff following us around at all times, they were even taking to each other through their microphone to keep an eye on us. We spent around$250 at the store and we do all our shoe shopping at DSW, this is the first time we had this experience. I got a panic attack immediately after leaving the store, I kept asking myself why is is it because of our race, the way we look or dress. We have never been treated this way at stores we have been to. I understand wanting to keep an eye on the inventory, but they don't need to follow us and make us uncomfortable, isn't this what cameras are for. I don't think I can return to the store without getting another anxiety attack.

I ordered shoes online for pick up 4-7 business days, I received a call that my order is ready, I came to the store to pick up the item, the lady asked my name and she can’t find my order she did ask me if I ordered it from The Shoe Company my answer is no, she said that she will give me a call before the week ends, (I guess she just doesn’t want to waste time to look for my package) week passed by I did not even receive any call from them, been waiting for more than 15 days so I decided to go to the store and ask about my order and yes I got it. I opened the package and look what I saw I’m so disappointed!! Fyi, this is a Christmas gift This is my worst retail experience from any store

I’m regular costumer of DSW and I like the shop but On 10/01/2022 in DSW 505, Queen Street, Etobicoke, I paid my puma shoes Enzo NXT size 11 $62.14 which is not available in shops at the moment but they told me, it has at their factory, if I purchase on it, they said, they will delivery to my home within 7 working days but I never get any emails till today and nothing information I received and I call 7 times, they never responded, after 13 days today i booked taxi to went there and they says shoe is not available anymore anywhere, it’s really disappointed, it’s difficult to trust them and they wasted my time! Be careful customers!

AVOID!!! Think of the worst "shoe" store and the worst store manager you can think of, multiply this image times 10 and well here at this store you can find both. The store manager seems to be more suited for a job as a school janitor or a construction worker than a customer oriented store manager. His manners and even the way he looks and speaks are subpar to put it mildly. Completely disrespectful, unprofessional and rude. DSW I expect better from you as a company. I have seen better service from the cashiers at McDonald's or a gas station.

I love this place because I can bring my old shoes nicely worn and get points towards getting boots. I especially love the clearance area, so I get myself some discount. The other day I learned not to look in the clearance only sometimes; the ones in the front have sales also. This store offers some great deals so I can wear designer shoes at a lower cost. I was glad when I found this place—I got to stretch the dollar. You know why to pay more when you can spend less at DSW.

Great selection of shoes and friendly staff. But a little confusing on “warehouse pricing”. Most of the shoes seemed like a solid deal or inline with other store’s prices (ie: Birkenstock, Dr Martin’s, vans) but then there were Harley’s from lids, that were actually more expensive than what lids charges for them. A little odd. Any way, over all great store with huge selection!! Highly recommend stopping by! Just double check the prices.

There was barely any selection in the sizes I was looking for, boys youth 6-7. There was a pretty good amount of the really small sizes for boys but the larger youth sizes were far and few in between. The pricing is pretty expensive as well (the deals are not that great) and the customer service was not very good either. So with all of that combined I definitely will not be going back there when looking for kids (boys) shoes.

Worst shoe store ever. Purchased a few shoes online and one of them was cancelled after the fact because it was not in stock. It takes 5 days to ship something from Scarborough to Etobicoke. Free shipping only to the store when i have purchased from them online but the website didn’t register the free shipping to the Home. Nobody answers the phone line when you try and contact. Shoe selection is usually last seasons models

DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse is indeed a large warehouse-style building filled with shoes for both adults and children. The back of the store has a clearance section with some deep discounts on limited-availability brand-name shoes, I go there first. They also have Lids Fan Gear, handbags & Claire’s Accessories.If they don’t have your size or colour in stock, they can usually have it shipped to your door.

I was so amazed by the discounts and services they provided today. Four items (3 bags, a pair of high-heel) costed about $120. The girl at the cashier was good at her work in a perfect manner. Everyone worked there was friendly. They share the same reward system with Town Shoes and The Shoe Company, so points can be obtained. Definitely gonna visit this location again in the future.

Great experience! Karolina helped me with a pair of boots I was unsure of. She looked to see if there were more size options in other locations and gave me the contact for them as well, it seemed that these were the only ones in the area so I just ended up purchasing the pair boots and i'm in love!!! Karolina was so helpful and kind the whole time, will definitely be returning

It seems like they have a lot of shoes in the vast space they have, but they really don’t. I found nothing for myself. My wife found something she loves and they didn’t have her size. They had some in another location but DSW are unable to ship store stock to other locations or to your home. That’s pretty useless. Their kids selection and pricing is always good though.

They usually have shoes on sale. Carry most of the popular brands. Women's section has a variety of models: sandals, boots, flip flops, fancy heels, sneakers, etc. Children's shoes are available. All payment methods available. Friendly helpful staff. Big parking lot. You can also order your size if it's not available, either to your home or store.

It used to be a great store to get some amazing deals but since last year I think I visited this store more than 50 times as it is way too close to my home but I've never seen a deal which you don't skip. Apart from that the store has a big collection but they are pricey same as if you are gonna buy from different brands

Very nice and big store with a great stock of shoes for all ocassions, and accesories. I like to shop their deals on shoes. Once I found a pair of very nice Italian designer shoes for $26. Most deals from $60 to $90. When clients sign up with e-mail, they get $10 offin their next purchase.

Shoes are great, selection is excellent: however the staff is terrible. Not at all impressed with service: employees are very good at holding conversations amongst themselves and ignoring customers. Wouldn’t bother to shop there: recommend to order the items online.

In the past this location was the only outlet that had a product in a certain colour, in my area. Well lit, and spacious. The shoes seem to be of nice quality. They have gotten rid of shoe deodorizer spray, and instead have smell balls that you but in your shoes.

Mad face. So I made a purchase here and the girl asked for my email to see if I had a preexisting account. Now all of a sudden I get all these emails from this company. I did not ask for them or authorize this spam. Staff should ask or advise customers or this.

It's like an outlet store. You can find basic models of name brand shoes. Lots of selection for men, women and kids. Lost a star because it is sometimes difficult to find my (common) size in certain styles. Also, I couldn't find any Nike styles for wide feet.

DSW branch at N Queen street is real big store with very well organized variety of shoes and bags . Very nice and helpful staff. Free parking is available. Also there are customer washrooms in the facility which we don't normally find in other stores.

They have a terrific collection of boots, ankle boots, sandals, athletic shoes, everyday shoes and shoes for special occasions. You can easily find different collections for women, men and kids. The staff are very helpful and the store is clean.

Love this store, has many unique brands including Cole Haan and Bull Boxer. If you are into shoes, must visit. Back left corner of the store has deep discounted pricing. Some of their regular priced shoe have markdowns for additional savings.

Bought a pair of athletic shoes but once home noticed they were tight. Returned them and bought a larger size. All went well. No hassles. Cashier was very pleasant. This store has a larger selection of shoe wear than most places I went to.

One of the best shoe stores in town. If you need that perfect pair, this is the store to go to. Ask for Jeevana. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Bought pairs for my parents and myself and we are all very happy with them.

Only one single pair of nude flats in the store. The poor cashier is obviously forced to ask for phone/email and a customer saying "no thank you" isn't acceptable. I had to beg her to just leave it blank.

I get good quality designer shoes here for moderate prices. You also get points and rewards. The staffs are very courteous and helpful. I highly recommend DSW to anyone out there who loves shoes.
