EXCELLENT WITH CHILDREN, TRAVELLED THE EXTRA MILE AFTER HOURS TO HELP US OUT OF A TIGHT SITUATION. OUR 11 YEAR OLD POSITIVE AFTER MAJOR DENTAL PROCEDURE. 6am - early Sunday morning - My 11 year old daughter Steph has an has an major abscess and is in a severe pain - having been travelling with this severe tooth-ache for 3 days. Practically impossible to find a dentist who is able to assist in an emergency very early on a Sunday morning, and we are in a very tight corner. Dr Scheepers responded promptly to my WhatsApp message, request for help and he and his fiance went out of their way very early on a Sunday morning to travel some distance to specially open up his practice for us. We are highly appreciative for Dr Scheepers and his fiance for sacrificing their Sunday morning to help and to sort out Steph's problem .. My 11 year old daughter is so completely enamored with Dr Sceepers and smitten by his fiancee's kindness (who v kindly acted as temporary emergency stand in Dental assistant on Sunday morning call-out) - so enchanted that even after her root canal treatment Steph is willing and eager to return for her follow up replacement. Steph cant stop speaking volumes about the experience - which is quite remarkable for an 11 year old who has just had a major emergency dental procedure - root-canal. I cant rate the experience highly enough and would award 10 stars if I could. THANK YOU.

For an emergency it was great I got an appointment the next day when everyone else were full. Staff friendly specially the dentist assistant who was actually the one who only cared how comfortable I was and if I was in pain. The dentist was nice at first but at the end after having the crown it was like he had no time for his client and want me gone as soon as possible, he even walked out of the room leaving me alone with so many questions. Went straight to the front to make sure I paid and that was it. I left in pain and so confused. I understand a dentist doesn’t have a medical background and can’t prescribe any medicine but at least a bit of explanation of the swelling, pain and headaches are normal maybe or even suggest a medication over the counter…doesn’t need to take long just a nice and simple explanation. I had to call my doctor and see him because I had very bad swelling side of my face and so much pain and headaches- which I even told the dentist I might have a bad reaction to certain anaesthesia but with no communication I guess there is no proper work. Anyway my GP helped me. Just a reminder for the dentist and understand a good service should be constant from the beginning until the end of the service because that is what resonates in the client.

Their fees are exorbitant and in excess of the market average. They only confirm the consultation rate (R750) upfront when you book. I knew that the rate was above scheme rates, but was comfortable with this. When you are there, they offer a host of other services that they can "quickly" do, and whilst I understand that there will be costs involved, the extent of the costs charged was overwhelming. The onus is on the practice to confirm these costs prior to the patient proceeding with the treatment. I received a quote of R750 for my son's consultation and was happy to top up for additional word done. I left with a bill of R4,900 (they offered to "check" my daughter too). This was just a simple check, an x-ray and a cleaning by a dental hygienist. To say that I am disgusted with the way they handled the treatment and the disclosure of costs is an understatement. If you choose to use the practice, ensure you check EXACTLY what they charge before they do anything.

It was such an amazing experience with dainfern dental studio , the staff from the moment you walk in are the friendliest most welcoming people you'll ever meet. I have had dental issues my entire life and I went for the smile make over and it's been the BEST investment of my life , I never have to hide my smile again I've been wanting to do this for years , and I looked at many options globally such as turkey , Thailand and other places but dainfern is the one that stood out Getting your teeth done is one thing but you need a Dr who KNOWS what he's doing who understands mouth in such detail to give you teeth that match your face Aswell as how efficient and straight forward the process was , I'm just 3 appointments I walked away with a new smile I named Dr Scheepers the "tooth fairy" he's the one who reassured me and had so much confidence in his own work it made it an easy decision to go with him ! And he more than delivered 5 stars for me

I had the pleasure of having my teeth whitened by Iman at DDS and I must share my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the most friendliest receptionist (Lezaan) she made me feel right at home with her warm smile and cheerfulness. I was then taken through the entire process by Iman, the do's and donts and what to expect over the next 24 hours. Iman you are professional, patient and an asset to your team ( thank you for answering the same questions a million times and for your constant reassurance )  The practice was immaculate, clean, and beautiful. I was made to feel so comfortable the entire time I was there (even handed a remote to catch up on my nexltflix series while having my whitening done). DDS is one practice worthy of more than a 5* rating. Well done to the entire team. I will definitely recommend having work done at this practice. Thank you so very much for my Perly whites Iman. I’m so happy to have these treatments done by DDS dentist. It was perfectly done. Very professional, clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. Dentist and assistant are so kind, gentle and capable. I never felt any pain either during and after the treatment. The appointments always in time (except when low shredding do not allow the use of part of equipment., but they are not responsible for that…, and even with this contraint everyone keep going doing the job efficiently and kindly). It was a very nice experience for me. It’s the first time I look forward coming back to a dentist studio with pleasure ! when I’ll need it for a check or for a treatment Ill make it happen in DDS for sure. Thank you !

Going to the dentist has never been as enjoyable as my experience with Dr Scheepers and his team. I had multiple procedures over 8 weeks and left with a beautiful smile. Terrible service!! I lost 4 of my upper front teeth due to the advise and service from Dainfern Dental Studio. All they care about is your money… After charging me over R60k for a set of dental bridges, the work was done so poorly that it ruined my teeth and supporting bone within 2 years. Now I have to save up for bone graft and implants due to their poor and horrible service.. I honestly regret ever using their service..

I recently visited DDS honestly it was the best dental experience I have had to date. From reception to the dentist's 'chair' side manner i felt welcome and at ease. I'm normally really anxious about visiting the dentist. Aren't we all? I had Invisalign orthodontic treatment to correct my smile and teeth whiting to top it off. They did a fantastic job!
