Update: Davies saw this review and the message I left on their website today (Sunday, and yes they are closed on Sundays.) They called me immediately and apologized. Someone had dialed my phone number incorrectly into their phone and had been calling and texting me at the wrong number. They promptly drove my uniforms all the way across town today and hand delivered the freshly pressed uniforms to me and also removed the "rush order" fee from my total costs. Original review Dropped off my kids brand new uniforms on Friday to be pressed and ready by the next day, Saturday 8/13. They guaranteed it would be done Saturday and I paid extra $$ for rush service but was told not to come until THEY CALLED ME. They confirmed they would call me several times and I waited, expectantly all day for a call and thought of calling them to check in but was very busy so didn't manage to. Well it's Sunday at 3am and I woke up in a cold sweat realizing they never called and double checked all my calls and messages and blocked messages twice and they NEVER called me AND they are closed on Sunday. I am NOT looking forward to waking up at 6:30am Monday to get the clothes home by 7:30 so my kid can have clothes to wear the first day of school at 8:00am and that is assuming the uniforms ARE actually ready, as I was told they would be, and they just forgot to call me. I will be asking for a refund on any rush services they said they would provide and really for all this extra stress and hassle they should refund more than that! Never once in the 5 years I have used my usual cleaners, Susie Q cleaners, has Susie's EVER not notified me when my clothes were ready and they were ALWAYS ready on time. Unprofessional, inconvenient and never coming back. If Davies wants me to change my 1 star rating, the owner can give me a call today, on a Sunday, despite being closed, finish pressing my items, if they haven't yet and allow me to pick up them up today instead if 7am Monday. -Jennifer K. 5 blouses, 4 pleated skirts

My husband took three wool Pendleton shirts into Davis to be dry cleaned. He tried on all three and they were shrunk by Davis Cleaners. I am not sure if they pressed my wool shirts or washed them. They were his favorite shirts and He am beyond angry. One shirt belonged to his father who passed and the others were only a year old. The two board shirts new were $225 each but his father's old shirt was priceless to him. They asked him to take them back in to try and stretch them out but I don't see that happening because they barely fit me now. I am 110 pounds he weighs 200 pounds. The manager woman he spoke with on the phone was not very friendly and not very helpful. He asked them if they are unable to stretch them out would he be at a loss. They said he would be. I would recommend avoiding the Davis cleaners on Menaul and San Mateo. They were rude and didn't care about the damage they did to his shirts.

My experience with Davis Cleaners was amazing. They are well priced, very friendly, with excellent customer service. They even called to remind me to get my stuff before closing because they knew I needed those items for the coming Monday. Great people! I forgot her name but the lady that answered my emails about clothing concerns was especially good!

Front desk lady was extremely rude! I pulled up and waved with a handful of clothes she gave me a grimace then looked away until I left. Would not recommend this experience to anyone! Even the governor of the state would be appalled to be such lack of quality in New Mexico!!

Davis Cleaners uses the highly toxic and environmentally destructive chemical known as perchlorethylene. Yet they say on their website that they are environmentally friendly. I brought my clothes there due to their website, only to discover that they were being deceptive.

The folks at this location were awesome. I had very little time to make it somewhere very important looking sharp and ready, and they came through absolutely perfectly for me. Great workers and professionalism all around. Thank you Davis. DG

Brought them a suit that was new, had only been worn a few hours. recieved it back several shades lighter (faded) and extremely wrinkled. Staff was unprofessional and unwilling to discuss. I would never recommend this place to anybody.

Their machines continually crush the buttons on my dress shirts and my clothes are not always ready when they say they will be ready. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Amazing staff! We brought in a pendleton for cleaning. They said a week and may not get all dog hair out. We got it back in a couple days and blanket looked perfect.
