Absolutely horrible experience! Two of my friends and I rented bikes from here to bike out to the windmills (1 hour bike ride). On our way to the the windmills the my friends tire went flat and when we called to let De Stadsfiets know, they just laughed and said figure it out. We thankfully found a place that could fix it in 15 minutes and cost 50 euros. Tres and inflated tube were completely mangled. We finally made it to the windmills. As we were leaving the windmills our other friends back tire completely fell off the wheel. I was then forced to pay 100 euros to call a taxi to make it back to De Stadsfiets with the broken bike. When I got back the store person was very unhelpful and refund us the cost of the new tire or taxi ride. Even though we had purchased the insurance saying that they didn’t refund other companies doing work. I’m not surprised because if they did they would be bankrupt because these bikes are horrible and made with poor quality. They did give us a refund for the bike but disappointed in how the store clerk handled it and the refusal to pay for the bike repairs.

I visited this shop (and other shops) several times to look at bikes and decide on one. This was the first shop I visited a few weeks ago. They gave me good advice on pros and cons of a new city bike versus a used one as well as e-bikes to consider. Most other places seemed to just want to convince me to buy an e-bike. Finally, I decided on a bike and returned here to buy it. When I bought it, the nice man here checked everything for me, added part of a bike chain to secure the seat to the bike to prevent it from being easily stolen, and did a few more extra things for me (and wouldn’t let me pay for the extras). I really appreciate the personalized service here and good advice!

Ik had een nieuwe achterband nodig. Geen probleem zegt de monteur. Kom ik vervolgens een half uur later terug heeft hij expres de verkeerde maat erop gezet omdat ze in zijn woorden “de juiste maat niet hebben”. Wat is dit voor service? En ook eerst niet eerlijk zijn maar pas toen ik erover aandrong. Ik had al betaald anders was ik de winkel uitgelopen. Uiteindelijk heb ik gezegd dat ik de juiste maat band wilde hebben en met tegenzin is hij de juiste maat gaan zoeken. Anderhalf uur verder en ik heb de juiste maat band op mijn fiets. Overigens wel in de verkeerde kleur tov mijn voorband. Wat een aanfluiting. Als je deze winkel kan vermijden vooral doen.

Unfortunately! there are only five stars to give they deserve 100 Stars! If service (not an easy thing to find in Amsterdam) had an address it would be this place! This shop staff is very unique!! The Staff is beyond amazing friendly, understanding, giving honest helpful advice, and very patient with their customers! Very affordable price! I went, (passed by, out of curiosity) to the shop to see E-bikes, I tried many bikes and went back because of the people who work there and I bought my bike there. Every time I go there there is a smile, they know their customers and they do everything they can to make the customer happy! Thank you!!!

Came across this shop in the area looking for other blue shop across the street and ended up renting from them. Currently 29 for three 24 hour days. They have a booklet in different languages and they have a nice counter guy named Casper. Tell him Super Suz sent you and you get an extra smile. They need cash deposit only. No credit cards, apparently.

Very friendly staff and helpful advice! One of my tires was short of air and needed refilling the air. Usually filling up air at a shop is free in Amsterdam but I didnt expect the staff to show me how to use the gear (it was one of those fancy ones) and how much air is good for the tire! Really appreciate it!

The beer is very very good! Nice cozy cafe spot in Amsterdam. Good food as well. Decorated very interesting and neatly. A great spot to stop in if you’re in the area. The owner is incredibly friendly as well and you can see she takes great pride in this place and her cafe. Must visit …

We rented two bikes for three days. The bikes were good quality and we had no problems at all. The employee was very nice and gave us good recommendations for enjoying our city vacation in Amsterdam.
