Deco Blue was designed to provide the ultimate individual hair experience, so expect a semi private room during your time with Deklynd. If you are lucky enough to have him color your hair, you can sit outside on the front or side porch of this craftsman style house/salon, in a sanitized chair and feel comfortable whilst you wait for all those amazing colors to blend and brighten your day. The wash room allows for an individual experience as well. Again, masks and shields are in place, along with gloves and a calming, delightful, attitude. Bathrooms are clean and sanitized. Confession: Due to unforeseen events , I “lost” my stylist in a recent divorce. Since then (5 months ago) I’ve neglected my looks and decided for a total make over. After searching high and low I found Clay and he was ABSOLUTELY amazing! He listened to what I was looking for and made some great suggestions to give me something different. I felt very comfortable and open to trying something new and boy did we. Goodbye curls,hello Mohawk/pompadour. He was so nice and great to talk to. Experienced,professional and funny. I got compliments ALL DAY, even from strangers. Lastly, he recommended some great product and taught me how to replicate the look at home. I highly recommend booking an appointment with this man. You won’t regret it. I’m definitely going back and am excited to hear he does beard trims as well !

Michael did a fantastic job transforming my grown out, faded blue hair into a beautiful, multi toned red. I was so pleased with the entire process from start to finish. When I walked in, I was offered coffee and water and only sat a few moments in the comfortable waiting area. In previous experiences at other salons, I’ve waited well past my appointment time so I really appreciated the prompt service! Michael listened to my concerns and worked with me to achieve the results I wanted with my hair. Color correction usually leaves my hair feeling fragile and damaged but I left the salon with beautiful, silky red hair. Which is exactly what I wanted! I absolutely recommend Deco Blue and will be returning when it’s time for touch ups!

10s 10s 10s across the board. Mikey is fabulous and just a joy! My 9 year old daughter came in to see Mikey with long, over chlorinated and limp hair. And came out with shiny, healthy, soft and bouncy hair. It was like he used a magic wand to change her hair completely!! Plus he took the time to listen to my daughters love of Barbie’s so naturally she can’t wait to see him again soon! The salon is equally as lovely filled with smiling faces and pleasant laughter. I've been going to Deklynd for more years than I can remember. I love my hair -- the cut and color is always amazing. Deklynd is kind and professional. And his COVID protocols have been perfect! I have felt safe and respected. I just got a brand new cut and color and it is better than I could have imagined! My teen daughter now sees Micheal for her hair and we love him too! He does a great job with her half black and half blue hair. And we love his positive, upbeat attitude!

I canceled with this salon. They emailed me telling me that they would not allow me in the salon without showing proof of covid vaccination. Yet other salons allow even walk ins as long as you wash hands and wear a mask. It’s unconstitutional and not mandated by the government to limit service. This made me feel very uncomfortable. They lost me as a customer and I found someone else who was able to accommodate without asking invasive questions of my health record.

I have been a client of Dekylnd for more than 15 years, he has always delivered the best possible service that made me feel like I was my best self because of my hair. The salon is very clean, neat and the staff is very hospitable including Kate his assistant, she is always friendly and polite offering a beverage when I arrive. I know I can relax and have my worries taken away knowing that my hair is in amazing hands. I cannot recommend this salon enough.

I’ve been going to Deklynd for over 7 years and would not go anywhere else. He is the BEST! I’ll never let anyone else color my hair. My mother even drives in from Houston to get her hair done. I’ve not yet received the vaccine as I’m breastfeeding but always feel safe and welcome in his salon. It makes me feel even better that he is checking vaccine cards to ensure the safety of my baby and me.

Deco Blue Salon is AMAZING. The salon itself is in a cute little house that feels just like home. Deborah has worked wonders for my curly hair, I never knew how to properly take care of it until I found her! From the product recommendations to the cut, they all go above and beyond for their clients.
