Decofurn Greenstone , a very challenging experience in order to receive my furniture. The 2 stars that I’ve rated the branch is purely based on the the fact that their furniture is of a good quality given their reasonable prices. BUT Their sales reps- aren’t interested in assists you on premises, and their service delivery went it comes to the delivery of your products is THE WORST service I’ve received to date from ANY purchase that I have made. I had ordered my furniture in store - before lockdown began, as it were I was very patient given the current climate of the world being in a global pandemic. I was then finally delivered my ordered goods , with a chair being delivered initially instead of a table! The dispatch unit still argued that , that was what I had ordered ,when the invoice clearly Stated “80cm round table”, it was assumed I didn’t know what I had purchased “online”, when I had paid in advance and ordered instore. The process of receiving my table was then again very poorly handled. The delivery team, does not give any notice as to when they will deliver your goods (so being a healthcare worker , I was surprised on a day that I was post-24 hour shifts by a phone call that, the driver was “10 minutes away”). From that day- it took 2 extra weeks and emails of me expressing my dissatisfaction on the entire experience of buying furniture from them, to eventually receive the correct table. This yet again was meant to be delivered on a Friday, no correct confirmation time was given, and the drivers did not even pitch up. Only for me to get a phone call on Saturday at midday to say that they were at the reception of my apartment building to deliver my product. The delivery/ dispatch team, is completely unmarked, you have no idea who is delivering your goods, they are very ill organized and quite frankly given the service I have received and the hassle it took in order to get the furniture, I would rather spend way more money on furniture in the future , than ever order from Greenstone Decofurn again. Service delivery is a big part of the customers experience, and this was extremely poorly handled.

Shock by the staff service. From the walk in, until I left. Yes their prices are reasonably affordable. However, "remember that you get what you pay for!" I don't know who the manager is but I assure you that it certainly is not the staff who carry the name of the company or if it's their marketing strategy which the team have placed. It's shocking and completely deserve my 1 star rating. I could go on and on about my experience. I could go in and on about the staff, the attitude, have no interest in clients, they make you feel like you hated by them. They don't care not one little bit. I walked around and around watching them. Hoping someone actually earns their income and provides the service which they signed in their legal employment contract. I went there a second time today and even bought things. Sadly the little Indian girl there who believe I as the client must beg and wash her shoes before she can help me with anything. K tries gaining staffs attention. Useless. Anyway Please do something but the staff, do they get training? Are they medically assessed? I cannot stress further about these people who are titles staff. I am almost certain that the company is looking and actually, I'm sure it's costing more to have those people working at that branch then anything. Thank you and I truly hope this helps in some sort of way moving forward because I'm pretty sure that there are many other client like myself who would love to support you as a company. Never can I do that with pathetic customer service and customer relations but sales floor staff that you have now. Even down to the cashier was useless...

I called decofurn on the 17th of December 2021. I spoke to Evelyn who checked the delivery date on the system and told me that the warrant was still on. I called again and I spoke to Theo who was very rude . He did not want to check on the system when was my delivery note date is ,he says I must look for my delivery invoice. I called again ,they told me I must speak to their dispatch department and I spoke to Chantel who said I must send her an email with the photos of the damged base (item) which I did . She never called me about the progress report, I kept on following up. She told me that She emailed to the shop and was told they were closed and they qill reopen on the 24th of January, she will call and give a feed back. I waited for a few days and I called again because I haven't heard anything from them that how rude and negligent they are. I spoke to Chantel She told me she's call me back which she never did. I called again in the afternoon, she promised to call back up until today. I've been sleeping on the floor since December because the damage base . She emailed me with the response saying that they will send someone to repair the item up until this day no one came . I went in to buy a bedside lamp. I found something lovely for R219.00 and picked it up. I was told I was not allowed to walk with the item, instead I was to find a sales person to scan it. This is where the problem started.... 1. Found sales person after a while who scanned and took my phone number. 2. Walk to cashier put in phone number again and paid 3. Walk out the shop to the loading bay to collect item (1 LAMP R219) 4. Now they want my ID number to WRITE on a piece of paper I declined this. Asked them if they had heard of POPIA and this is out of compliance. They said it was ok with no ID. I declined address as well. 5. 10 minutes passed no Lamp. I told them the sales lady took it off the floor but one arrived it was new. 6. The rescan barcode, sign on paper, sign on electronic pad. I asked who I should contact at head office to try and help make the retail process a bit more seamless - the manager turned his back and ignored me, mumbled HR. It was a nice touch to a very arduous process. I like the lamp but hell never again. I never did get to speak to anyone at head office but if anyone reads this. Pop in at MR Price Home = 3 steps with no invasion of privacy.....walk in, pick up lamp, pay with option to do e-receipt (with phone number) and leave.

Worst service ever, they made me go up and down back and forth with a mattress I bought from them. I'm sleeping on a ROCK they opted to give me after they refused to give a refund on a Truform mattress I bought from them in less than 3 months it sunk. I'm super frustrated with Decofurn to think I'm a regular client here as someone who does home make overs for a living but I'm treated like they dont need my sales. I'm not happy at all. First they ignored me for months saying I'm not on the system till I decided to load the bed and return it they kept me there for hours then made me come home either the same snobby mattress saying they don't take old ones for hygiene purposes yet weeks later they call to say I must reload and return that same bed, what was going to happen if I discarded it as they said they won't need it for exchange Then they order new one comes in send its not extra length After being at the shop 3 hours I get the rock I'm on now in extra length they claimed they didn't have Told them dial a bed had a special and a proper bed I loved so please refund me Decofurn was told no refund no credit note either but word

I have been to this store three times in the pass year. every time that i have been there, the staff members, especially the check out staff, are the most unfriendliest people ever. My most recent was this last Saturday where I went to collect my order that I purchase in store on the 16th of December 20 but there was no stock. Firstly, no one called to let me know my item had arrived, i called to check. Secondly when I went to the cashier, her name was Beauty, to collect my invoice she was the most obnoxious person i had ever come across. I lost my temper as she could not even communicate properly and left me standing there with no explanation to what was going on. After i raised my voice from my frustration the manager came to assist and threatened to remove me from the store without even listening to what had happened. Eventually the manager told me to come to dispatch for collection. At dispatch he had told me that they receive numerous complaints with regards to staff but it does not seem that they do anything about this. Needless to say I will never be returning to this store to purchase anything ever.

This was the first time buying from decofurn and I must say it is the absolute last time. I would advise you to stay away!!! They promised I'd receive my furniture in 7-10days. It took them a month and a week to finally get my order which I had paid for in full. During this time no one keeps you updated and when you call they tell you they'll let you know once your order arrives. The cashiers are absolutely RUDE for no reason at all. Both times I've dealt with them they gave me attitude, they have no idea what customer service is, not to mention that they are extremely slow. You wait in a long line to pay and have to put up with their nonsense when you finally get to the front. On my last visit I literally spent an hour in the store just so I could pay for the delivery of my items. Honestly, do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. No amount of sale is worth the hassle you go through to get your stuff from them.

Bought a White headboard recently with white pedastals, paid for the assembly and delivery services. They deliver, assembled the pedastals and headboard without notify us that should we wanted to do a return any of the products we should keep the original packaging. They took the packaging with them. The headboard and pedastals colors wasn't matching although we ordered white. When I spoke with the sales person he said it would be perfectly fine to do a swop as it it within the 7 days. When we got there they refused to do a swop or return due to the fact it wasn't in its original packaging. I explained to them that the drivers had taken the boxes away, they still refused to even do a swop out. I would never buy from them again, also they expect you to go online and read their policies. Unethical and unprofessional people.

Very poor service all around - please think twice before buying from them. We received very poor and rude treatment from the staff both in store and especially the delivery team. They kept postponing the delivery time and caused me much stress and frustration, with no communication that they would not be able to deliver by the time they had committed to. Then the delivery person, Masimba, was very rude to me on the phone and put the phone down while I was talking to him. I phoned back and he committed to rearrange the delivery time for the next day. However, after the call I received an sms stating I have to contact the call centre to re-arrange delivery! Very bad experience all around, and I am anticipating more frustration and stress before I get my furniture delivered. I will not buy from Decofurn ever again!!!

This review isn't necessarily aimed at Decofurn. However, this does involve them. I would recommend avoiding the payment plan service they offer. FeverTree Finance doesn't respond to query emails, their agents tell stories when you call them and settlements being made or anything to do will closing an account will be ignored until the fees can be applied. They will however make it your problem and make sure they apply their fees, interest and admin in order to keep the balance owing. Avoid using this service with Decofurn or anyone else for that matter. The chairs from Decofurn, were good quality and comfy. I would recommend them as a budget gaming chairs.

This branch has promised to deliver an office chair and corner desk. They lied about availability for the desk and it was never delivered. Its been 4 weeks after we've been in store and they have made no contact to resolve the situation. Customer care is unhelpful and keeps passing the issue from one staff member to another. They keep telling us t go to the store time to get credit, even though we've already been to the store twice, once to make the purchase and the second time to force them to release the stock after they had failed to deliver themselves. This is a simple order that was made on the 21st of March and its now the 30th of April.

I visited the store on Black Friday and they had amazing deals. Excited, I placed my order and was told within 10 days my stock would be delivered. 2 months later I’m still waiting for stock to be delivered. I have phoned numerous times for updates, then am told they will call me back, never to do so. I got lucky the other day with a call back. So my stock was sold and they’re still waiting on trucks to deliver stock(but they don’t know if my items are on the truck) this is a badly managed branch. Quick to make a sale but after sales service is terrible!!! I can’t wait for my stock to arrive so that I am done with them.

Ordered something in-store, changed one of the items a day after with one of the staff members, got the go ahead. It took 3 weeks to deliver our things and that too at 21:30 in the evening. They brought the wrong order, left it at our house didn't assist us further. We went back to the store, and was told that they don't know when the item we ordered will be in stock. They refused to give us a refund despite it being a problem on their part. The warehouse manager at the Greenstone store was utterly rude. We ended having to settle and keep the item we ordered. Disappointed so far. When ordering online, keep in mind that the colour of the product advertised and the actual product do not match. See the difference in the pictures below. The first picture is what we received. The second picture is as advertised on their website. After-sales service is non-existing. Your are on the phone forever, only to be told to email them. When emailing them, don't expect an answer beyond an automated acknowledgement of receipt. It's been five days already. Apparently someone will be in contact soon. I'm not holding my breath. Luckily, we can live with the colour.

They have beautiful, reasonably priced furniture. If you want to add occasional chair, or you office furniture. Maybe you are starting up with a small house they have just right size furniture. They have beds with different type of mattress to suite your needs. Paintings! They have the most gorgeous designs, geomatric and not to busy florals under thousand rand. They also have beautiful stands at the right size. Really, if you are starting out or adding that extra bedroom or setting up a home office, check them out first. You might find all you need under one roof.

Very disappointed in this branch.....not one staff member assisted us. When asked for service I kept getting bad attitude as if we are disturbing you!!! If it wasn't for customers you would not have a branch!!! Your staff should really learn some manners. If you work in customer services you will see customers and have to assist. Zero service, dont even deserve one star!!!! If you dont want to serve people then close down. I will spread the word... do not buy from them. They have other branches with great service but this showroom is disgusting!!!!

Shocking ethics at this company Bogani Ncube and store manager Geraldine both flat out dishonest. This after we placed a big order. Won't bore you with the details but bottom line there is a problem with the delivery part of the business, they just say it's not part of decofurn so they don't take any responsibility for the issues that arise. Geraldine urgently needs basic customer service training like listening skills and customer centric decision making, I would compliment Chantal from the warehouse she really tried. STAY AWAY

Had the most interesting experience with a team of people opening items for inspection pre-acceptance however not displaying all components and mishandling in the components in the process? I rejected a back ordered item following this inspection process and requested a refund which was meant to be processed within 7 days - almost a month later and no refund. Upon following up, you get put on hold in an absolute demonstration of disarray with a promise to be called back by a Manager. Fingers crossed.

Bought a drawer and when I got home found it was broken. Decofurn refused to exchange it, because it was "inspected" when received. The inspection involved the warehouse employee ripping the box open and asking if it's the correct colour, then proceeding to close the box. Will not be returning to Decofurn unless the policies are suitably updated. If buying from Decofurn, I strongly recommend doing a 100% quality inspection (including complete assembly, if need be) before accepting any products.

Reuben the sales assistant was very unwilling to assist. Saw items online, phoned to verify availability and price. Drove all the way there from the Vaal, when we got there the price was different, when i showed him the online add that shows the sale price and the call I made to confirm the price he simply shrugged it off and basically told me to deal with it. I have 7 offices which I intended to furnish with items from their store but clearly they dont need my support.

Salesman promised that my purchase would be ready in 7-10 days. Nothing! Spoke to the manager, she says that the salesman "doesn't know what he's talking about" its really 7-14 days. Don't waste your time. If a salesman tells you your order will arrive within 7-10 days, don't believe him/her. They are lying. Another lie that you can expect is, "Your couch will arrive tomorrow". I have been waiting 3 weeks for my delivery, but sadly nothing has arrived. And they do not call to let a person know why is hasn't come. I write emails - don't get any reply, I call to find out - don't get any answer. Stay away from this place!! it sucks!

It is a nice store with some good deals but it lacks in customer service. I was at the at 9:10 this morning and being 1 of only 3 other people in the store, i was not able to get any assistance. I saw a chair i liked on the online brochure and when i got to the store, i could not find it or get help when i enquired about it. From my view, the online brochure does not reflect the proper size of a item. Not very happy with my experience today.

Worse place ever for a service, they look at you and judge you and attend people that look rich. They scan you from parking what you driving then they decide you to give you what type of service. I stood there for 30 minutes wanted to ask then 15min waiting to pay and 30 minutes to collect it because I bought something they say they have stock only to find out they don't and I ended up taking from display. Sad thing about they didn't apologize.

They don't even deserve a star rating. I am so disappointed. I had to drive over 20kms to collect my order, as per the call I received from one of their consultants saying my order has arrived. I got there and was told my order is not here, and they don't know who called me. That was after they made me wait for 40minutes! What a waste of my time and petrol. As a manager it is expected to assist customers and find a solution that is suitable for both parties. They don't even deserve the 1 star. Payed for a bookshelf 3 weeks ago,I was told it would arrive in 7 days. On the 8th day I call in only to be told the hav3n't received stock. Frustrating experience. Appalling after sales service from store manager Geraldine who refused to assist me with a damaged purchase, accusing me of self inflicting damages to it. Poor service also received from despatch manager Ishmael and his delivery team who kept me waiting more than 7 hours for my delivery. Purchase warranties don't exist and my complaint was only resolved once escalated to Head Office. A no go from me.

Bad service, really so disappointed as I moved into a new place and waited nearly 5 days for my beds to be delivered. Spoke to Zinthle, very helpful whom passed the call over to Warren warehouse manager, also tried his best. Branch manager refused to deal with the matter as she would be stuck in traffic whilst I had the twins of 4months old with no where to sleep where to sleep. STILL waiting for my beds to be delivered

Recently purchased some side tables from here and the experience was quite pleasant. You pay upfront in the showroom before going to collect your purchases at an adjacent area. Products are decent quality but don't expect premium. The only negative was the painful security process to access the parking area. Each driver has to fill in a register which means you may be waiting a long time in a queue to eventually get in.

Great place for your home decor needs. Their quality is good and pricing reasonable when compared to other stores. They have maintained good protocol to ensure hygiene and safety during the pandemic. The online stock available is not in sync with the actual at most of their outlets. Ensure you call the specific store before you go there to buy the stuff you have looked up online.

Tried to get another one waited even longer then the item not available only to b told to wait for on order in the week. I was willing to take the one on show was refused.. And the manager was not to seen.. told he didn't want to speak to us... don't even bother buying anything here.

A variety of products at very competitive prices. However, during load shedding, the queue is long due to no alternative power supply. Just limited paying and ordering apps available to clients as a result. We bought a chair but could not take it with us and then have to pay for delivery! We opted to collect the chair the next day. But, I will shop there again!!!!!

Called to report that the product I ordered had a defect. I was passed to 9 different people explained my problem each time. I was eventually told that I must bring the product to them even after I explained it doesn't fit on my car they had no solution. Disgusting customer service. Not the place to go if you are looking for ideas to decorate your house. But if you are looking for a good deal you will definitely find it. The staff were helpful and delivery is half the price of Coricraft with service 100 times better. They phone the morning of delivery and message you when they are on the way. Very pleasant experience.

I am based in Pretoria, and rely on Courier Companies to collect my furniture items purchased from this and other stores. The logistics can sometimes be a nightmare. However, Warren in the Decofurn Greenstone Warehouse Department makes this process seamless. What a gentleman!!!! Thank you Warren, your awesome service is ever appreciated.

There aren't enough staff on the weekend. It was difficult to find someone to help. The queue to pay for the item was long and it took a long time to pay. Then waited further at the collection point. Finally, upon arriving home, we realised they had given us the wrong colour product. Overall a very frustrating experience.

Poor service and the shop stelwards are of no help. They will treat you with attitude and if they can't get what you want they will move to the next customer without telling you that the item is out of stock. Some of the good items on their website are out of stock so please be careful and call before you make the drive.

I don't know how you can have people like this as managers? When the sales lady waved at the cashier, she just waved back and went another way. Customer service is just bad!

The furniture is very beautiful, good quality and at a reasonable price. The low rating is due to customer service, it's extremely slow. It took some time to get assistance from the staff, and most of the things were advertised in the showroom but not in stock, I needed to wait for 5-7 working days for them to order.

Walked around the store for 20 minutes. All the sales people walking around talking on the phone and answering WhatsApps. I understand its Saturday but really. Great products and floor staff. Just be careful. My desk top came with streak marks on it. Could not get it replaced; they said I must have cleaned it with a chemical. Inspect your products very carefully at collection and ensure that marks which look like dust are dust. Very disappointed.

Not a pleasant experience. I would say home affairs has a more efficient service. Good deals are available but be prepared to spend hours in a queue and weeks waiting for stock to arrive. Any constructive feedback falls on deaf ears. Rather than save a few hundred bucks just go elsewhere

They sell affordable quality furniture, their parking is not enough on busy days but parking is safe. I buy most of my furniture there. You can swipe using your bank card. If you buy for the 2nd time they ask you your cellphone numbers and your previous information comes up.

It has nice pieces, recommend you check on their IG page or website and first call to see if they have what you are looking for first, if you know exactly what you need. It's quite a drive to get there so if you are not window shopping call first so you don't waste a drive.

I do not recommend Decofurn at all. I purchased an office chair and had them assemble it and because they assembled it for me they refused to allow me to exchange the item for a more comfortable one. And also very dissapointed in the fact I had to keep asking for feedback.

Google says they close at 4pm on Saturday but when I arrived at 15:47 they didn't wanna let me in saying they're close. It seems to me I was mislead because I drove knowing that atleast I have 13 minutes to buy what I wanted to buy. My time and petrol wasted.

Sales staff actually make a concerted effort not to make eye contact or pretend not to hear you calling out for assistance. Visited during a very quiet afternoon during the week. In these tough economic times, you need staff hungry enough to make sales.
