This redevelopment of the old deerfoot mall has been planned and thoughtfully crafted. The deerfoot city management team are relevant, unique, present and provide great customer service! We recently took our little one to photos with Santa. While there were a few bumps in the road as it was their second day operating, they handled the wrinkles incredibly well; with humility and poise - ensuring our experience wasn’t tarnished in any way. Even Santa was phenomenal. (We also love all the seasonal decoration and lights that are added along the boulevard every year). The addition of Linas is top notch. As residents in a neighbouring community, we are excited to visit Lina for future Saturday morning coffees, gelato in the summer and quick dinner stops. I look forward to the future restaurant area, which I hope opens in the near future. And my only criticism is that there are so many big box/fast fashion stores. I hope that more boutiques or local shops will soon become tenants. The parking lot is also a pain during peak times. The 4 ways, lack of close parking, and incessant pedestrians that come out of GoodLife can be a nightmare. Overall, well done Deerfoot City! We are proud to be neighbours.
The Block Party is a riot! The whole daily enjoyed the roller skating (cost is a donation to a charity to cover the skate/helmet/safety gear rental and free bowling! Linny the instructor was encouraging and truly loves to share roller skating with others. The skate rentals are cool prints and patterns to help you feel cool even when you fall I think you can roll up in your own roller blades/skates and skate for free. We loved our time at Deerfoot City and look forward to their colorful, interactive art installations, truly a blast! The food court is currently under construction as they are putting in LINA'S Italian Deli, and we are looking forward to it!
Had the vermicelli with spring rolls and lemon grass chicken. It was tasty and a good portion however is was a bit different than the typical vietnamese dish i usually get from other restaurants. I also witnessed one of the staff members not being treated that great, and it bothered me a little. U could tell she was not within the restaurants family, and the one lady that was running the restaurant was not very nice to her. Every time she tried to do something, she was getting yelled at. I scraggly felt sorry for her. I don't think I'll be back based on how I saw this employee getting treated
Great place for a large group or family/personal dining experience. This place boasts a large assortment of Chinese dishes and some Western dishes too. Ranging from steamed bun, curry chicken, dumplings, noodles, French fries, and deep-fried chicken. With such a huge assortment of possibilities, there is no way to try at least one of everything. I would recommend this place for a nice belly-filling buffet. I will be going back again.
Love the stores that are in this complex. The stores are in groups such as furntiture, clothing, etc. There are many big box stores such as H & M, Ashley Home Store, Structube, Winners, Old Navy, Sleep Country and my favorite bakery Cobs. The most frustrating is the parking lot. It's like a maze and small little clusters for parking, and stop signs everywhere.
After all the work they did on the renovation and upgrades, it's a pretty normal mall space with current styling. They are trying to shift away from outlet box stores to more boutique names. It has a Walmart and several normal food chains. It has some interesting food spaces. It looks like the food court has been shut down to make room for something else.
My family and I had so much fun at the Deerfoot City rolling skating facility (Block party) during the weekend. We could rent the equipment needed for all of us (CAD$15 for the whole family, skates and safety gear) and enjoyed a very good time in a safe rink. We also played in the bowling area. Loved it! We are definitely coming back!
The development here is nice; I headed over for the wine store, but then I noticed Leena's Italian market had taken over the food court, and this was a welcome surprise. I live close to the original location, and while that has its own charm, the deerfoot city location is worth a visit. Deerfoot City is really developing nicely.
Deerfoot City always does such a good job with the Block Party every year providing a nice way to spend some time outside. Lots of shops to pop into as well and looks like Lina’s Italian is moving into the food court area. We also like taking advantage of the free Family Day photo they do every year and other pop ups :)
Food court or no food court? Deerfoot city just can't decide. Presently they have closed the food court but there are restaurants still open. Can you make this less confusing for patrons?! Lina's Italian market is going to open next year, but in the meantime what a confusing disaster. Don't come here if you are hungry!
Decent place to shop close to home. I went to Winners and Walmart between 2-3 p.m. A bit busy, but easy to access stores, plus free parking everywhere, just a lot of traffic, but doable if you miss rush hour. A lot of stores to choose from. This is my normal "mall" to go to for years, even when it was an enclosed mall.
Amazing place lot of stuff lot of good gsmes. Its fun place for kids and all ages. Free parking free handicap psrking handicap access. Customers washeooms. And peice is cheap as compare to other play stores. And it has lot of gsmes new games. Different levels and youe kids eill love it definitely recommend for kids.
We went to ihop, Had Breakfast, our group of 5 waited to order for about 30 minutes, 5 other groups of 2to 3 came in, Ordered, and were eating their Breakfast before our order was taken! Food was good, staff was Moody! Table and Seats were Sticky! Not going back there again!
After renovation...this place is really good. Lots of new stores opened and the food court...amazing. The parking lot is surrounded by the whole complex. Different vendors and stores make it a nice and enjoyable experience. Like to shop and eat around Deerfoot city.
I liked the area much better when it was a mall and you could walk around and go in and out of shops. Now it's just stores cluttered everywhere surrounded by a giant parking lot. It's busy and crowded and the layout doesn't really seem like a good idea to me.
Great upcoming place. Not often that busy, plenty of parking and places to eat while shopping. A few big name stores around as well to visit off of the mall nearby. Mall has a small food court also up and coming with a nice play place for your kids to enjoy.
Have gone to this mall quite often and it definitely has a lot of places to shop or just look around. You have Walmart, Cabelas and Canadian Tire to name only a couple and then you have the main mall. Quite impressed by it all.
Love this place It's a great way to pass time and a great idea. It would be awesome if they could continue this on trough with and possibly bring people in to skate as well. Keep up the good work dearfoot city
Pretty decent mall, easy access via Deerfoot Hwy2. Has some common stores we frequent visit. We particularly like the food court playground for the young kids, good size, safe, and full of seatings for the adults.
Deerfoot City is a very nice mall, but whoever designed the layout did not allow for all the traffic. It can be a nightmare getting in and out of the stores especially if a person does not know the area.
I got lost and one of the Deerfoot City representatives in a pink shirt helped me find my car, and even held my hand the whole way there so I didn't get lost again! I think her name was Katie
We visited Rec Room and enjoyed our time with kids and family. Variety in drinks menu was too good. Vegetarian options were very limited. Staff was polite and helpful. Will surely visit soon!
I love deerfoot city for the entertainment and food selections. There is something for all ages. It is a very special place for the family to create memories, laugh, and bond ❤️
We go to Tim's there regularly for a quick breakfast. Parking lot is well cared for guys are out cleaning early. The Christmas lights have been up for awhile and looks festive.
They closed the indoor playground for kids. Will never eat or shop at this mall again! Tons of space at the mall is empty and we have to close places kids enjoy ...
Great complex for all your shopping needs. One great area to get everything from retail and dining options to commercial business, as well as everything in-between.
Whoever designed this shopping mall needs to find a new career. Roads are to narrow, parking stalls are to small. One way in and one way out..absolutely terrible.
Often crowded and busy. Parking lot can take a while to navigate. Shops are all the same shops you’d expect to find. It’s clean and well maintained.
Gpod shopping and not to busy on Tuesday afternoon. Stopped for a quick bite at Original Joes. Enjoyed our food.
This place has modern shops. Adding more stores quite often. Very trendy. Great atmosphere. Plenty of parking
Ample parking, easy driving all through the mini city. Great selections of stores.
Could possibly add more clothing stores and some additional entertainment options
Lots of new renovations I went to Cabela's and found some things for camping.
Love old navy, but the main intersection needs traffic signals.
Nice selection of stores and new food centre being built
