We have been with Dr. Meyer since he established his own practice almost a decade ago. We agree with many of other reviewers regarding his professionalism, competence, and very personable nature. However, we can no longer extend that endorsement to the administrative aspects of his practice. After a couple of less-than-satisfactory experiences in recent years with a different hygienist than we usually see, we had a flag put on our file to book us only with our regular hygienist some years ago. My wife had a cleaning booked for last week, and the receptionist contacted her a couple of days prior to confirm her appointment and request a slight change in the appointment time. My wife confirmed/agreed, and arrived at the appointed time. However, she was called in for her cleaning by a different hygienist than our usual person. Surprised and more than a bit confused, she underwent her treatment, which she found far less comfortable than with our usual hygienist. Upon checking out, she inquired why she had been assigned a different/new hygienist, and was told by the receptionist that our usual person is on indeterminate leave. When asked why she was not informed and given the opportunity to postpone her appointment, the receptionist had no coherent answer. My wife was in tears over the incident, feeling that she had been blatantly taken advantage of. In the course of the discussion, it came up that I had an appointment with our hygienist in a couple of weeks. My wife advised that if our usual person had not yet returned to work, I would likely cancel/postpone. Today, a week ahead of my appointment, I received a message from Dental 360 reception/administration. I returned the call, which was answered by their usual receptionist. She wanted to confirm my appointment and requested a change to the appointment time. When I asked why the time had been changed, she responded that it was to "fill holes in the schedule". I then asked her if there was anything else that she wanted to tell me about the appointment, such as who would be doing my cleaning. After some hemming and hawing, she cited someone different than our usual hygienist. If I had not inquired, I would have been subject to the same bait-and-switch as my wife experienced. I was incensed, and directed her to cancel all future appointments for my wife and I, and to only contact us when our usual hygienist returned to work. I further advised that in the meantime we would explore changing dental practices. Now, this is not the first time that we have encountered unsettling booking issues with the Dental 360 administration group. It is only Dr. Meyer himself and our usual hygienist that have kept us coming back. But this time was too much - not only did they bait-and-switch with my wife, but they then had the unmitigated gall to attempt to do the same thing to me. This behavior is a completely unprofessional and unacceptable breach of trust by any business, much less a medical practice.

I am a product of the 'children should be seen and not heard' generation. My childhood memories of the dentist were horrific. Thankfully, while still young, we found a wonderful kind dentist and I eventually overcame my fears. We moved to Calgary almost 4 years ago and started with Hans Meyer. I couldn't be happier! Everyone there is extremely professional and more importantly, very kind! Hans is gentle, informative and just generally an all around nice guy! I would and do recommend them whenever the opportunity presents itself!! July 10/2020- Posted this a few years ago and still feel the same today if not more so!! September 3/21! Yep- still the same! Best dental office ever!!! December 22/22 if anything, my feelings are even stronger! Had some major work yesterday and Dr Meyer texted me last night to see how I was doing!! Over and above care❤️❤️ February 7/2023 my new smile is completely amazing- correcting a life time bite issue! Felt like ‘family’ provided this treatment and follow up care! It doesn’t get any better❤️❤️❤️

I am so incredibly grateful to have found the team at Dental 360. I unfortunately ran into some issues with previously completed dental work that was not performed properly. Dr. Meyer was gracious enough to provide a thorough assessment/exam and to outline a treatment plan to correct the issues. The work required was extensive and consisted of several appointments, each time I came in the entire team ensured I felt comfortable and confident with the procedures. Kathy was a fantastic support in optimizing my benefit plan and working with my budget. Barb is a welcoming face when you arrive and sends you away with a smile. The RDA and RDH are all fantastic and kind. The office is meticulous and it is easy to schedule appointments. Dr. Meyer and his team far exceeded my expectations. It feels amazing to have found this clinic and receive treatments from a team that exemplifies integrity and patient centered care.

Dr. Meyer is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Highly skilled, compassionate and up to date with all new dental procedures. He took my wisdom teeth and a molar out today and I barely felt a thing, he seriously the best. Lynita is my hygienist she awesome, cool and always makes you feel comfortable. I have never had a better clean from anyone else and she’s full of information. Dee is always by my side through any procedure I have done outside the regular and she is so knowledgeable, comforting and also pretty awesome. Barb and Kathy out front know everything and are so efficient they make everything a breeze. Hands down best in Calgary for sure.

Dental 360 at 130th Ave SE in Calgary asks for feedback every single time my family visits, which just goes to show that they are confident that their expertise, quality of care, and outstanding “bedside manner” do not waver! I’m impressed with this practice every time we go in, from receptionist Barb’s friendly, efficient, and understanding way, to the top-notch hygienists who take the utmost care to make each appointment comfortable and swift, to Dr Meyer’s reliable and confident dentistry - my whole family feels safe and cared for! Plus, one of our favourite humans (a hygienist), Uyen (Win) is back - she’s the best!!

After some traumatic experiences with a dentist a number of years ago, I was recommended to try Dr Meyer, and I am so glad I did!! He does his best to make you comfortable and is quick and efficient with the work that needs to be done. I also really appreciate that he respects What I tell him about how things feel and what the experience is like for me. Dr Meyer is skilled and pays attention to the littlest details to make sure his work is at an excellent standard. Soooooo grateful to both Dr Meyer and his unfailingly pleasant and helpful staff for helping me overcome my dentist fears!

I can't say enough about this dental office. Beginning from right when I walk in, every level of care is so welcoming and comfortable. As someone who has quite a high level of fear of the dentist, there is no other place I'd rather go than here. All the hygienists, office staff and Dr.Hans himself genuinely take care of me and although I'd prefer never to have to have visits here, the peace of mind offered to me makes this my number one choice to have any work done. I had recently switched from a previous dentist due to some issues with not properly freezing/nerve pain when getting fillings. When I started to get new nerve pain, I was nervous about going to my previous dentist as I was concerned I would need a root canal. I went to see Dr. Meyer to check out what was going on and it was a filling that was starting to break free. I had the existing filling replaced and I didn't feel a thing! Such a different experience not having to white knuckle through a dental appointment. I will be moving my kids over now too

Best dentist I’ve seen in Calgary and I’ve been to a few. Dr. Meyer replaced a filling that was causing me grief put in place by a previous dentist who had doubted my pain. My tooth no longer hurts after a year of pain and sensitivity. I could not feel the needle at all which was also amazing and he was so fast with the procedure and timely. My only suggestion to them would be to email patients their invoices right after billing/cc charges- something I do in the optometry world- so patients have it for tax records or secondary insurance purposes.

I am not a dentist person and never wanted my wisdom tooth extraction. The staff here is friendly and supportive and has completely changed my mind about how a dentist can be. I have seen Dr. Hand Meyer only a couple of times but he has made me feel confident about having the extraction and I actually enjoy going to the dentist now. Their payment process is also a plus, I never have to dump all my cash and wait on a return cheque, instead they do the waiting and I pay the balance. To the staff at Progressive, Thank You!

My husband I were looking for new dentist in SE Calgary and a friend of ours recommended Progress Dental at 130th Ave SE. We both went for our exam and cleanup. They recommended my wisdom teeth to be taken out and I was reffered to a orthodontist which I charged nearly $100 dollars for it. which they didn't tell me up front. They were way off what they reccomend to my husband after they diagnosed him. Also their prices are way to high. It seems like their staff is not well educated. Overall very disappointed.

Fantastic experience! Dr Meyer and his team have been incredible over the past few years with our timid 9 year old daughter. Any fear and anxiety of the dentist that she had in the past has turned into confidence at the dentist. She was recently able to sit through a few cavities with no issues at all. We recently sent our little guy there for his first dentist visit and he had a great experience as well. We are slowly migrating the entire family to Progressive Dental. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I have been going to Dental 360 since we moved here about 4 or 5 years ago. I truly wish it was the only dentist office I'd ever been a patient at. Even with the new Covid-19 protocols we always feel welcome, attended to and appreciated. I just had a cleaning and check up done at Dental 360 and I just wanted to complement them for their great service. Hans and his staff are extremely gentle and accommodating. Hans is an amazing Dentist. He and his Staff are all very professional and knowledgeable. The experience was way above my expectations. I have always had a fear of going to the dentist UNTIL I DISCOVERED SEDATION DENTISTRY. Dental 360 has the BEST staff! They are all very cheerful and compassionate. I had the nicest "REST" and woke up at home with all my dental work done. When I went back to have my crown placed yesterday I was really nervous but they were patient with me and helped me realize that I was scared for no reason. BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL! We'll see you next year!

If you are looking for a dentist this is the place to go. My husband and I have a fear of the dentist but since we have a son who was getting to the age where he would be needing to see the dentist we thougt it was a good idea to lead by example and for us to start going to. Both of our experiences at Dental 360 was exceptional. All the staff are super friendly and there is zero judgement in this office. You won't regret going here!!!

Going to the dentist has always been an awful experience. I get such bad anxiety from past dental trauma. Dr Meyer is AMAZING. The whole group of them have been so incredibly amazing to deal with. They are so kind, show so much compassion and understanding. I have never felt uncomfortable in all my visits to the office. They also have blankets to get cozy in during your visit- especially amazing for people like me who are always cold.

I was absolutely terrified of dentists after having a terrible one growing up, actively avoided them. Eventually I had a tooth break and had to make a visit, that was when I found Dental 360. I can honestly say my fear of the dentist no longer exists. Dr. Meyer is a wizard with needles, takes time to explain options available for treatments, my Invisalign treatment was amazing - all around I can't recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Meyer and staff are THE BEST. I was so hesitant and anxious about having my implant done. Everyone took the time to speak to me about the experience. Kathy helped my with billing and insurance, Barb got me in at a time convenient for my schedule, and of course Dr. Meyer in his professional and friendly demeanour put my mind at ease. Our family loves going to Progressive Dental. The front staff is always so welcoming. The hygienists are the best we have had, my kids never complain about it hurting to get their teeth cleaned. Dr. Meyer is great too, always welcoming and friendly! I love that we never have to wait past our appt time either! The kids love watching tv while their teeth are getting done.

I had a dental emergency and they were able to get me in quickly. All the staff is very friendly and it was a great experience. I also went for a cleaning recently. I had lots of bad tartar and the hygenist was excellent. She understood that my teeth are very sensitive and went out of her way to make me comfortable. I would highly recommend them.

i'm someone that is not a fan of my tooth needs. Luckily I have strong teeth. Age will catch up to you. I am so glad I was referred to Progressive. Still not a fan of going to the dentist per say but they are wearing me down on that like I still can't totally believe. I am very much a fan of the caring at Progressive Dental.

My husband had 4 deep wisdom teeth removed and the service was incredible. Every single staff person helped make his experience as comfortable as possible. The dentist even wheeled him to our car, helped him get settled and we had multiple follow-up calls to make sure everything was going as planned at home. Amazing!

I've been going here for 15 years and from the minute you walk in the door you feel welcome. My hygenist explains every procedure in detail. I've had veneers for 14 years from Dr. Meyers and the attention and professionalism of his staff have kept my smile preserved and healthy all these years.

It’s always been very friendly experiences there. However, I dislike the protocols due to COVID-19. I kind of felt like I was going into surgery for a routine teeth cleaning appointment. I’ll still go there but I don’t know if it will be in 6 months. Might be until all this stuff blows over.
