Just close your eyes for a few moments and imagine that you are under cruel hands that don't care about your pain and just want to finish their work hours and you can't even scream in pain because you are afraid that those cruel hands  cause more pain, don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about the Nazi German torturer or the Russian secret service, I'm talking about the dentist who, when he saw my severe gum infection, just wanted to finish 2 hours of his work time and when i went home  whole my face got an infection and I was unconscious for 48 hours, and I was just lucky that one of my friends came to my house and rushed me to the hospital. When I told my dentist, he didn't care.  Every doctor knows that if you touch an infected part, the infection will spread and the anesthesia will not work.  I had a surgery 10 months ago and first week they wants for whole costs upfront  and paid them and that was my mistake . They planned whatever they were going to do without taking into account the circumstances and my wishes. This is the first time in my life that a bunch of doctors blackmail me .with temporary teeth they provide me I could not eat any food and every time I announced that this temporary tooth was not usable and they did not pay any attention, and I even realized that instead of permanent teeth, they wanted to give me low-quality, and cheap plastics stuff, and when they fund out  I realized that they gave this excuse  that I have missed doctor's appointments and my contract has been canceled.  Dental one manager is big layer just the first day they promised anything you want ,any color you want just she wants my money and after you pay to them , they won't do what you asked and they don't pay any attention to the patient's wishes. I suggest you find another dentist if you don't want to have my experience.  They have made a big mistake because they think that I am a foreigner and they can do whatever they want with people like me, but I have sent all the documents to my lawyers and I have proof for all my statements.  If I want to tell my bitter and painful experience from dental one, it would be the size of a book.  Anyone who has an experience like mine can contact me and can claim damages and complain to judicial authorities through my lawyers. I hope no one else have same painful experience as I had.

Went in today for a $70 consultation with no private health insurance (fair enough) I was having mild swelling in my bottom left gum. The dentist did two X-rays of my teeth and said out loud he’s “never seen anything like this before” I asked if everything was ok and what did that mean-he gave me a vague explanation but I have no idea what he meant. He looked at my tooth for 5 mins and right away said it needs to be removed due to decay etc. I’ve never had any tooth extractions before and had no idea what I was getting myself into. Before I knew it, he had injected my gums with anaesthetics and my mouth was instantly numb. I asked him how long it would take- he said only 20 minutes and that it’s a simple procedure. I was nervous and kept asking if it was safe to be removed etc he said yes. It was the most unpleasant experience in my life and took 1.5 hours! He was very rough, digging and pulling at the tooth and breaking the tooth, using the drill etc it was a very rough extraction. I had broken tooth pieces in my mouth that almost went down my throat and choked me! My jaw was in so much pain from trying to keep my mouth open by myself (they didn’t use any devices to keep my mouth open) and every time I would try and shut my mouth for a second to rest my jaw, I could tell he was becoming impatient. There was a female dental assistant who was calming my nerves and trying to hold my head and telling me I’m doing good etc but he was becoming irate with her and she stepped out and never came back. Instead another male assistant came who was also impatient with me. Finally everything was over and the dentist just abruptly left the room without speaking with me or giving me any after care advice and left it to the male assistant. The male assistant went through 5 mins of after care advice and handed me a paper. I had so many more questions but I felt rushed out. When I got home a couldn’t stop shivering etc and I have replaced my gauze over 5 times and it’s still full of blood 5 hours later. I’m laying in bed in pain and having to do my own aftercare research online because the consultation and decision to extract my tooth was not thorough! Also I ended up paying $400! I’m hoping they didn’t rush this decision just for extra cash.

Called in the morning to make an appointment for my mum. We arrive at 10am for our 10:15am appointment. Checked in at the front and waited. While we wait, I started noticing that patients who came in after us, had been taken in to see their dentist already. There were at least 5 people who had come in after us and had already gone in. As we sat at the front, I can hear conversation between these patients and the receptionist. Some of them don’t even have appointments and were insisting on seeing certain dentist who were already booked out, but somehow, they even get to see their dentist, while we (who did not specify any dentist) still waited. The waiting area now only had my mum and me. At this point, alone in the waiting area, we felt like we were discriminated against due to our background, as the people they were seeing were of similar nature to them, while no one even dare look at us just in case we ask them something. The patient that they were sending through, and the receptionist were extremely agreeable due to their shared common factors, while we whom made an appointment, came early, checked in, waited patiently when other patient comes and goes, made excuses in our heads that maybe they came for an easy checkup, or their appointment were first and they just arrive etc…. but there is a point when you can feel the room, and this is it. I finally got up and asked to see how long the wait time will be, and the receptionist said our dentist was still with someone. I came to sit down, and my mum said she can tell the receptionist was unsettle when I asked her, because she noticed something was going on. I saw her chatting with the other receptionist and at that point, my mum and I had enough. We got up to leave and the receptionist apologies and ask us to stay as they wanted to talk to us. Having already been sitting in that room and feeling like you have been isolated due to some other people’s preferences, we did not have the time or patience to listen to any more excuse. I understand that mistakes can happen, and to their credit, they did try to apologies and explain, but at this point, given all the event that had transpired during our visit, it has not been a pleasant experience, but an eye opening one.

if i could give a zero i would. dealing with this company has been abhorrent, i booked an appointment, and repeated my last name 7 times over the phone, they said they would send registration forms via sms, i requested email amy phone is glitchy, they sent it via sms and spelt my last name wrong, i booked an appointment, they requested i come in early, i said no, turned up to my appointment, Mitchel was late and had me waiting. proceeded to get a qoute from mitchel, he was condescending, and ambivilant,i need a tooth extraction then a replacement with an implant, and literally speaking to this man about the procedure, warrenty on the tooth etc just became too hard, its like he didnt want to answer, Mitchel was difficult, he misqouted the invoice, when i went to reception, and queried prior to paying for my consult they were rude, and wouldnt allow me to speak to Mitchel to query. as reception didnt know anything about what me and mitchel consulted about , all three of them where providing irrelavant information, which was wasting my time.. and after about ten minutes of reception attacking me with irrelevant info, i requested to speak to mitchel... who again was condescending, and in the end coinfirmed i was right (i wont go into the scenario) however, to get to that point was excruciating.... do yourself a favour... go somewhere else... addendum, i just spoke to the manager gemma, it took me 45 minutes to discuss my experience... i asked for a refund and she said no... so i paid $70 to be treated like trash... im just waiting for an auto response to email dental 1... please note i already have emailed dental1... please do not respond if your not going to refund me my $70, dont patronise me

This is Debra Marshall posting an update as an edit as I am blocked. HA ha. It has now been 6 Months since I got my defective dentures from Gus Pitto. He's gotten away with making dentures that you can't eat with. If you bought something at a store & it DOESN'T fit, you can take it back. Why not teeth ? I HAVEN'T eaten a solid meal in 6 Months. Ice cream for Christmas. I can't leave the house like this. Between no teeth & depression over it all, I'm just so defeated. . This issue wth Gus leaving me with teeth I can't eat with has effected my health badly. My severe depression and chronic pain have gotten so bad I had to see a doctor. I'm not doing great because of this & they're worried about a bad review. GUS IS CONTRACTED to their business & all my appointments were done there. And they stood with Gus & nothing was done. Why would I be in the wrong. This is not from Robyn. It is from Debra Marshall. 3 months now & still won't fix my denture or refund my $1.450 to get one made from someone who cares about their work. Come on Gus, ADO THE RIGHT THING. MY GUMS ARE SO RAW & SORE. NOT TO MENTION THE DEPRESSION YOU HAVE SPIRALED ME INTO.

My husband booked for a general clean and check up. Told at the counter that health insurance covered all of costs, no invoice provided. Checked on insurance and the charge was $1330 for a clean! No mention of this during his 20 minute appointment, found that extra charges were put on for gum treatment despite being told in the chair that there was no issues with his teeth and gums. To be charged an item 250 you would be diagnosed with gum disease, not the case and was also no mention at the last visit. Also charged for x-rays despite having done them 12 months ago, dentist claims his teeth move and change. Further, husband was told that he needed a root canal redone after 18 months since the last one. Massive rip off and no advice on actual costs until questioned. Will not be using this dentist again! A formal complaint will be lodged both with ACCC, Dental Association and company. A second visit after this was then charged more on health insurance than what the invoice states, clearly taking extra from health funds!

I would definitely not recommend Dental One Craigieburn to anybody. Firstly, before we’d go into any consultation, payment was asked for, and we were threatened that we could not see the dentist unless payment was made. This is despite being told by the dentist that full payment would only need to be made at the end of the procedure (which took months). Secondly, we were asked the same questions at each consultation (I.e. Why are you here?, Do you have health insurance?), which shows that they kept no records of our consultations. Thirdly, we would have to confirm our appointment one week prior, although they were allowed to cancel 1 hour prior to an appointment. Finally, they didn’t provide us with all options available to us, we only found out of different options once the procedure was basically complete. We were extremely dissatisfied with the entire process, especially given it was privately funded, and would not go back again.

I had to put one star to post this. They don't deserve it. They employ Gus for denture work & 10 & a half weeks ago I paid final payment & got my 3 month reline denture & it cost $1,450.00. I can't eat with them & Gus refuses to do any adjustments at all . WEDNESDAY 25TH OCTOBER. NEW UPDATE. It has now been nearly 4 months since Gus refused to do the adjustments on my new denture. My gums are so sore. IF GUS CAN TREAT A PERSON WITH MANY MEDICAL ISSUES & DEEP DEPRESSION THAT'S ON A DISABILITY PENSION, IT MAKES YOU WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HE HAS DONE IT TO. ALSO WHAT KIND OF A PERSON TREATS THE DISABLED LIKE THIS. Gus has my $1.450 & I am left with sore gums & severe depression to the point that I'm having trouble getting out of bed. I GUESS CRIME DOES PAY. RIGHT GUS. CONGRATS TO YOU.

Wow I would give no stars decided to give them another go after my last bad experience both myself and partner. Cost was crazy for partner yet they didn’t even check his mouth just X-rays and didn’t get what he came for. Dr Omar what a piece of work and cocky no explanation just told us he couldn’t do what we came for clean and check partner walked out. The bill for X-rays and check without even looking in his mouth over 300 price bumped up as we have insurance left without anything we asked for to be completed Awaiting a call from manager. Also a person on desk so horrid I will be speaking about her too. At end she came good but damage was done she was rude and difficult

Absolutely 100% recommend ❗️❗️ I am a really fussy person when it comes to myself and children. Issabella and her assistant - Deborah, were Absolutely amazing. I couldn't praise them enough while they attended to both my children. My children say they'd happily come back. But what made me love this place more specially our dentist & assistant they worked AMAZING together. There atmosphere is incredible ❤️ Thank you for your caring, patient & communicative service Dental One is the ONE for us!! We will be back!!.

So happy I decided to try somewhere new! After reading previous reviews I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr Mags and his gorgeous assistant. They both saw hiw anxious and nervous I was but they soon eased my mind and helped me make a decision ! I'm recovering now and truly doing well. I had my first crown experience today........thank you also reception staff so friendly and helpful Looking forward to going back Xxx

Girls at reception are very welcoming. But I was not happy when I arrived at my appointment to be told that they could not see me for final treatment on my Root Canal because I could not pay up front. That was unfair as I do not work and am on disability payments and have been a patient there for a few years now. Also I was supposed to be seen on that Wednesday for my partial denture that was hurting me. Sorry but I was not taken care of.

I used to get crazy anxiety when going to the dentist. However, Dental One has turned that around for me. The practitioners at the practice make you feel so comfortable and provide you with all the care you need. All the staff are absolutely wonderful. Especially, Nadia she took care of all my needs to assist me in smooth process. Highly recommend them! I will definitely be coming back, my new go to dental clinic :)

Beginning stages of my dental was good. Had the worst experience today waiting for consult with Dr jasmine. Waited one hour to see her for 5 mins. Simply walk away. Doctor Jasmine not taking her patients time seriously. No explanation given, I kept waiting and waiting to be told by the reception, Dr Jas will be seeing me in 5 mins and never.

I went to Dental One Craigieburn for only one painful tooth ,ending up with 3 bridges and taken tooth.Sounds alot however dentists are here very friendly .They created a great payment plan for me and explained all the positives sides of having a healthy mouth. No regret whatsoever after everything!!!Definitelly recommended!!!

I strongly recommend dental one Craigieburn as I’m very sensitive with my teeth but the staff from the receptionists to the dentists are so professional and lovely. The dentists explain things in detail and are gentle and very patient. The pricing is also very reasonable and I definitely love now visiting the dentist !

Very happy with this place. Saw Dr Muhammad Khodr (hope i spelled it right) And he was very helpful and was well informed of my dental problem. This Clinic was very generous as they didn’t charge me anything for a short appointment and they could’ve easily charged me a high fee. Would recommend for anyone

Are you laughing at us or what? i hope those who working there be trained how to look after the patient’s cleanliness when they are sitting on the bed. My face has become full of water and my clothes are dirty. I hope that they take their time to listen to them and brush their teeth properly.

They use to be good but now they focus is on pushing patients toward complex expensive treatments. Wanted to get the composites that they did a few years ago refreshed and suddenly Im being up sold veneers or redirected to south Yarra to see someone else. Waste of my time. Don’t bother.

I had seen Dr Adrian Balendra and he was very professional and made my usually nervous experience at a dentist very comfortable. In the past I have seen Dr Miles and I have always had a good experience at Dental One and even the reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

5 star service and experience from Dr Mags, went in for swelling pains from wisdom teeth looking for help and they managed to remove all 4 wisdoms and provide a clean and filling at a fantastic price on the spot. Highly recommend and will be back in 6 months.

Amazon that they were open on a public holiday and could fit my husband in that same day. Did x-ray, gave quote and got the job done within 30-40mins. Dr Michael was a great dentist, calm and reassuring all the time. Already booked for a teeth clean up.

I would say that you should give this place a try, cause it has a wonderful staff, energetic outlook, Clean and well equipped, my experience was good , Dr Sam Navidi did my implant , Have earlier done my root canal here as well. Good experience

First time at the centre. Staff are friendly. And the place is clean. Post edited: after few months, unfortunately two teeth I had filling on got worse and had to end up with root canal surgery. Very expensive out of pocket resolution.

I have attended Dental one since early 2021. staff and doctors are very professional and honest. They know what they’re doing and highly trained. The clinic is clean, no delays with appointments. Will recommend to everyone.
